I do not recommend this company they do horrible work and only worry about there selves and not the employee or customer as a former employee I advise any of y'all to not ask for there services they do everything the cheap way and cut as many corners as they can...this company is not recommended

Moss always does a thorough job. They are especially good at noticing and taking care of the little things that a homeowner can overlook.

I reached out to Moss for landscaping and maintenance services. I met with Ichelle onsite and was expecting a proposal to follow. She called me to decline service because I wanted to retain control of my irrigation system. I was confused with her explanation and didn't get an answer that makes sense on why she was declining to give me a proposal. To be clear, I need my property mowed, edged, my trees pruned and maintained, my extensive flower beds cleaned and those plants to be pruned regularly.

I don't need Moss to maintain my watering schedule. I live here and can oversee that myself. Moss will be here once a week and will have no idea if they are watering too little or too much. Somehow associating your ability to do maintenance on my yard with me allowing you to control and charge for irrigation, makes no sense.

Bottom line, either: 1) she was too lazy to calculate the correct fees for what I needed or 2) she was trying to make me pay for services I didn't need and doesn't make sense. If you want to force services upon me that I don't need, that's fine, just be honest about it.

A few of my neighbors recommended Moss to do some general yard maintenance and correction to some previous work done by a less than qualified landscaping company. Robert Cook came out at the scheduled time, we did a through walk around, and he promptly sent me a bid. When we decided that we wanted to go with Moss, but had questions over some of the fees and line items that he provided the communication slowed. He provided one revised quote, but I still had questions over a couple items. I asked him to call me at his convenience to discuss and then never heard back from him. No email or phone call. I would've loved to have given them a glowing review on work done, but we never got that far.

Be careful using this company. We ended up with an expensive dead tree. It was one of four trees planted next to each other. The other three are fine, so it wasn't a lack of proper care on our part. Also, some friends who we referred to Moss had the same thing happen (one dead tree). Although they were expensive, we heard they were good. When we asked about their warranty, they said it was good for only 90 days. This is very short according to other landscaping companies, and the fact is we ended up with a bad tree that was not our fault. Too bad they don't stand by their service/product. Think about going elsewhere for your landscaping needs.

If i could give no stars i would but in order to write a review i have to give a star. Moss Landscaping is the most UNPROFESSIONAL landscaping company i have ever hired. The company doesn't hold accountable the crew members when they are rude to the customers . I had an unpleasant interaction with someone last week. Come to find out he still works there and they FIRED the WRONG person . Melinda should of investigated before firing anyone . Please save your money and do NOT trust this company.

Moss does really great work. Their landscaping design is 5 star. Also, their yard maintenance is second to none. They have always been polite and professional. I wanted to make sure and recognize their hard work. Also, they picked up debris a day after Hurricane Beryl ripped through Houston. I didn’t think they’d be able to do that so quickly.

The people who posted negative reviews from Louisiana; I was very confused, but now I realize you posted on the wrong company’s profile. This is Moss Landscaping Inc. in Houston, Texas. The company in Louisiana is Moss Landscaping, LLC. It looks like they copied the name of the Moss that services our area here in Houston. I’ve been a customer of this different company in Texas almost 15 years. In Metairie, LA and different areas in Louisiana, Moss Landscaping, LLC has almost a 5 star review… I would post on their Google reviews so your comments can be seen to other Louisiana based customers. I certainly would take them into account if I was looking for a good service to switch to.

I posted yesterday about the way they blow debris onto property they don’t maintain. They left this present in front of 2 storm drains on Brockenbraugh Ct 6 days after Hurricane Ida with another tropical system in the Gulf expected to bring rain by Wednesday. This is about 30 yards at best from the corner of Metairie Rd and Brockenbraugh. That corner floods with heavy rains with the storm drains clear!
Irresponsible!!!!

We had Moss design and install a garden, pavilion and fire pit for us after buying and splitting a property with our Neighbors. Very happy with the result

Hassle free lawn service - the maintain the yard and garden including seasonal trimming. I only need to inform them of special add on services like seasonal plantings. However, I’m sure that I could arrange for this to occur automatically if I wanted. The crew is professional and reliable, too!

I have been using Primavera since 2010 and they are fantastic, reliable and the owner has the best customer service ever. My neighbors have used them as well. We are very happy with Primavera and recommend it for anyone in the greater Houston area. They do both residential and commercial you will not regret it!
