I've dealt with Omar at Blackstar Landscaping on several commercial landscaping and larger residential projects over the years. What stands out the most to me from dealing with him is his eye for detail, excellent communication, and paying attention to quality. With Blackstar I know I am getting the best products and knowledgeable installation, which is not always common in our industry. Another thing that is important to me is the focus on value without overcharging the client, so I know that while I am getting great quality without cutting corners, the pricing is always right. Last thing I want to add is that they always finished their work on time. I will continue working with Blackstar Landscaping on my future projects.

5 stars in all categories! Absolutely the best choice that we could have made to re design our front yard! Since the first meeting, Omar was not only super friendly but knowledgeable and passionate about our project, which gave us all the confidence to hire them. His Attention to every detail, knowledge of design and expertise in landscaping, all of our expectations were exceeded by far. His crew, the absolute best in saying what they will be doing and then doing what they said and ahead of schedule. I have never experienced customer service by any type of contractor as I did with Omar and his employees. Blackstar Landscaping did a total re-design and restoration of our yard after the freeze, including removing the old turf and total replacement, we couldn’t be happier with the final results. All along the way we were kept informed on what the schedule was and why and when it was going to be completed, they showed up early and left late until the job was completed, with amazing personal attention by the owner Omar.

We use Blackstar Landscaping for all our luxury properties because they really are the best we’ve worked with in Houston, and we have worked with a lot.

We had a property in River Oaks that had a complex custom landscaping design provided from an architect. The property is large and very specific irrigation installation needs, so we contacted commercial landscaping vendors for this project instead of the usual residential landscapers we use. Moving down our preferred vendor list, I called Blackstar Landscaping and found that they do high-end residential properties and commercial, so it seemed like a good fit.

The process of working with them was so easy, that it was a great experience from the beginning. They understood the smallest details on the architectural plans and really listened to what the client wanted, and when it was time for a quote the estimate they provided was competitive and transparent (not always the case with contractors these days).

So we awarded them the project and they did an absolutely amazing job. They were professional, reliable, super competent and communication was great (also not common with a lot of companies). In the end they even did the hardscaping, pool and deck because the client was so happy with their work.

Being in the industry, I know just how tough it is to find good contractors. I now work with Blackstar Landscaping on a regular basis for our complex landscape projects, and am so happy that I found them. These guys don’t disappoint, the work is consistent and they are just good people. So much so that I had to take the time to write this review and share how great they do as landscapers and professionals. Keep up the good work!

I recently worked with Blackstar Landscaping, and they did an amazing job on my front yard. They laid down beautiful St. Augustine grass and created stunning flowerbeds in both the front and back. The team was professional, efficient, and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. My home looks fantastic now, and I highly recommend them!

One of the best companies out there for any and all landscaping and irrigation needs. We use Blackstar for all of our commercial projects and they are very professional and very good at what they do. Omar is such a pleasure to work with and if we have any issues he will find a way to correct them immediately. In short, you will not be disappointed in using them for your landscaping needs.

Robert and his Imperial Village Team did a great job trimming all the large oaks in my front yard and also putting fresh, dark mulch on all the front beds. I like the fact that Robert really listens to your requests and actually does exactly what you wanted to be done! This is the third time that I have used his services for spring yard clean-up and I will definitely be using his team again.

Robert became my lawn professional approximately 9 months after my home was purchased. From day one, he provided the BEST care. In addition to the services listed, he and his crew trimmed the very large tree in my front yard. When the time came, he was contracted to lay a paver pad for chaise loungers in the back yard as well as a pad and walkway on the side in front to avoid walking on the grass. When it was time to replace the fence, he and crew also did it. Robert always listens to the customer and the work is done just as requested. I highly recommend him!

Horrible and dishonest people - my advice is to never use this company

Yellowstone Landscape is servicing Woodshore in Clute Texas. They do a superb job. Our grounds are beautiful. Outstanding Job!!!! Highly recommend!!!

I got a hit on my car from this company on OCT/13th/2017, today is Dec/1st/2017 and their insurance company didn't approve the repair. The driver, YASMANI A DALGADO RODRIGUEZ, said was a company car and he didn't care about the ticket he got and the hit on my car. This company is co-responsable for the repair and nobody answer the phone and nobody return my calls for them insurance. I pissed about it. I'm in Austin TX.

Appears as if you guys hire fools for driving. Your truck number 838 made a dangerous maneuver this morning nearly causing a crash. I have video proof on my dash cam. Do better

Douglas does beautiful work! He worked with us by giving us several options for our yard. His staff are thorough and professional. Love our yard!! We will use Douglas Landscaping again. Highly recommended!!

I am so happy I called Douglas Landscaping, he does an outstanding job. Douglas is an amazing person and will get the job done properly. He completely rebuilt my sprinkler system including valves heads and a brand new digital controller. Now my lawn gets watered properly. And the new Sod he put down is looking very good. The new pavers along the driveway look beautiful and properly installed. I highly recommend Douglas Landscaping, I am so glad I called him first.

I have lived in the South for over 35 years and have worked with many people, but I have never met anyone who is as responsible, honest, and professional as Douglas Lawn and Landscaping Co. I would confidently recommend them to anyone.

Douglas and his team did a phenomenal job in our front lawn! He really changed the appearance of our front yard for the better, I’d say we now have the best looking house and lawn on the block! We did a whole new flower bed, driveway pavers, a water fountain and two front trees — I mean he really saw the vision that my husband and I had and did a wonderful job! I definitely would recommend to my friends and some of my neighbors are already asking for his contact!
