HORRIBLE SERVICE! DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! That made fake charges, never did what I paid them for! They spray painted my couch, kitchen table , Comforter ! Saying it was a spray for mold! BULL!! Been trying to get ahold of them, they kept saying they will send people out and they never do. One guy showed up after 6 times, told us he would come back he DOSNT HAVE THE EQUIPMENT! Never showed up!! DID ABSOLUTY NOTHIG BUT TAKE MY MONEY AND RUN! Again do not hire these people and I will report them to the better business bureau and give my review on every page they have!! Scum bags!

We scheduled to have someone come by between 12-2 and we were keeping in contact with them all morning in regards to our appointment. Suddenly, around 2 they didn't return any calls of ours and the tech whom was supposed to come by called 15min before 3 to come by in 70min.
Being late is fine if you can give a heads-up. But not communicating that is not right.

Horrible company full of dishonest people. Don't trust them, they did not complete their job and make up fake charges. They are also doing business under a different name. Look up Speed Steam Clean and see their reviews for your self. I am not the only unhappy client of theirs. After they completed the job I tried to call them back and no answer and phones numbers were disconnected.

"ripp off" "ripp off" "ripp off" this company is just a ripp off stay away from this crooks. they advertise $89.99 unlimited vents and when the worker's come they have speed steam cleaning printed on their trucks when you inquire you called houston air duct cleaning and not speed steam cleaning the worker's say they are owned by the same person. as soon they get their foot in the door they start playing mind games to mis-guide their customer's that you have mold and they will clean your ducts with sanitizer's and chemicals to remove mold and they do nothing. they robbed me with $700.00 cash and when i complained to the manager stacy and owner gabriel they said they will refund my money since the worker ben who came to my house was not professional and was not only robbing their customer's but also the company. regardless this people train their worker's to go and rob people and now they do not even answer my phone calls. i will report this business with Texas State Attorney General Office and BBB for sure. stay away from this ripp off company.

I called Tuesday to schedule an appointment, I was given Friday between 8am and 10am.
Friday no show no call, I had to call and find out what had happened, the girl that answered the call sounded like if she had just woken up, told me that she was going to find out were the technician was.
I was told that the technician was coming to my residence whenever he finish whatever he was working on (another client). Very unprofessional. After all, I think is best they didn't show up.

Houston Air Duct Cleaning showed up on time, and did a great job. I have older solid ductwork and I think they did a great job. It was quick and simple.

I had a very pleasant experience with the crew from Houston Air Duct Cleaning. They cleaned my air ducts and dryer vent and did a great job I'm very satisfied

I was told that they would come out on Aug 10th and to give them a 2 hour window to show up. No one ever came and when I called I wasn't able to talk to someone because I was being sent to their voice mail for about 2 hours straight every time I called. When i finally got a hold of someone they said they would call me back to see if they could find out what had happened, but I never got a call back.

After another hour of trying to get through to someone I finally talked to someone and they told me that the they were fully booked for the day already and didn't know why the person from before said they had someone available. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and they planned to have someone come on Aug 12th for me.

Aug 12th comes around and I am waiting for a call or some notification that someone was coming during my 2 hour time window. No one shows up again. As I try to call them to find out what happened I keep on getting sent to their voicemail.

I had high hope for this company because all of their reviews look great.

Once they finally came everything was very professional. They were able to help me with my problem the same day and everything was taken care of. If the delays from the first part of my review didn't happen then they would most definitely have gotten 5 stars.

THE FIVE STARS COME FROM FAKE REVIEWS! There is a reason it is all five stars or one stars. This company is a major scam. The 'technicians' sent out are salesmen, nothing less. He was condescending and shifty, and I immediately did not trust the scare tactics he was using on me.

I asked what kind of duct system I had "flexible or fiberglass" and he did not even know. I immediately called another company on the spot for a quote. This company operates under many names, including Aura, and my second opinion company immediately knew who I was calling about. Look up Aura on yelp.

The second company said "he should not have told you he's 'scrub' the vent, if you have fiberglass it would send fiberglass particles all over the air and into your lungs." When I went back to this company to ask, they said oh yeah. You have fiberglass.. no we would not scrub, we'd use a chemical. Completely inconsistent and full of BS.

He couldn't even name the type of duct before.. said it was.. the old kind.. the kind they build. No joke.

They will charge you 89 dollars, even though their ad said 79, because the real kill comes in the upcharge of services you don't need.

Go with Extreme Air Duct. I called them and the guy was honest, knowledgable, and professional. I asked a ton of questions and he knew what he was talking about. Business should NOT be allowed to be posted in google under multiple names to avoid previous bad reviews.

SHAME ON YOU for sending out unqualified technicians that make me feel unsafe in my own home. I called to ask the manager call me back to discuss my concern, but no one ever did. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. NO way am I paying this company for showing up, knowing nothing, trying to trick me, then charging me for it.

I scheduled one of their technicians to come out to one of my commercial properties with strict instructions to call me when the technician is on his way and when he finished his inspection. They did neither, I had to call the office to get updates and they had no idea if he was on site or not. The claimed their tech had called our office and spoke with a coworker. The coworker had not received any call from a technician. Since then these people have become completely unresponsive. They never check their voicemail, email or pick up the phone. You cannot even leave messages because their voicemail box is full. They do not complete any quotes in a timely manner. Do what I did go somewhere else for service.

Terrible experience!
I'm a property manager and this is for one of my rental houses.
I called this company for air duct cleaning services because I think 4.7 is pretty high. And they were available right that day for services.

The company website claims $89.95 for unlimited duct cleaning and whole unit inspection. After the cleaners came to the house, they charge $69 for each large return and $25 for each small return, in addition to the $89.95...and with these charges, they don't even clean the return cover!

I agreed to make the payment and then they said the whole AC system is terribly black molded and sent me some pictures, which they were not willing to tell me where they took. They said they can kill the mold for now for $300 but they strongly suggested me to take the next level of killing molds, $1399. I told them that I can pay for the $300 for now but need to talk the property owner to make the decision for the $1399 package. And I paid for the $300 killing molds AND air duct cleaning.

Shortly after I paid, my tenant came back home, finding that the cleaners already packed up and about to leave. The cleaners told my tenant that I didn't want to pay (because I needed to wait for the home owner to make decision), so they didn't do the job and they would come back if I pay.

I called the office the next day from the house and complained for their technicians not doing their job even I paid. The technician then called me, claiming that he finished the job and he told my tenant that he finished the job. At that moment, I was standing under an AC return, watching dusty spider web hanging down from the return cover. Then I reach my hand into an AC duct and my fingers were blacked. So I asked, "what did you finish?" He said something blahblahblah which I don't quite understand, so I asked if he could send me some pictures to show me whatever he did. He said he couldn't because I didn't pay for the $1399 package. Later he claimed that cleaning a return cover was not included in the charge ($89.95 initial and $25 per each small return) and I have to pay $1699 for the highest level of killing molds package to clean a return cover!

When explaining the "great work" he would do, the technician said he would brush the insulation to remove the mold, which is odd because that would spread the spore.

The technician is not licensed to deal with mold. Today, a licensed mold profession pointed out that according the pictures the technician sent me, that is not black mold!

By the way, the technician is actually from another company, Aura duct cleaning. Houston Air Duct Cleaning subcontracted the work to Aura.

Great service I was very satisfied with the air duct cleaning you did at my home. I had my air ducts cleaned before but never had such a good experience. The technicians were friendly and at the same time very professional. Thank you I will recommend to everyone

They arrived late for the first appointment which I should have taken as a sign of things to come. Paid for the most expensive package which includes a UV light which is several hundred dollars more than the next highest package. At the END of a several hour appointment they told me there wasn't an outlet close end to plug in the light that was already installed. I needed to go buy an extension cord myself to finish installation. Super inconvenient given the amount paid to have a job not finished, also feel this is something the technician should have been able to tell me prior to installation so I could make an informed decision. After getting cord and searching endlessly with my husband I. The attic, we determined it wasn't as simple as a plug in as technician described. Multiple calls, weeks and 2 missed appointments later, I am supposed to have a technician here in 20 minutes to complete this job - won't hold my breath. On top of being completely inconciderate of the time I've taken away from my personal life to be here for missed appointments, I have NEVER recieved the curtesy of a return call from a supervisor (despite requesting this 3 times). I also had to threaten to dispute the charge on my credit card to have action on this issue. I would be happy to update and adjust rating accordingly based on today's appointment outcome and if a supervisor ever dignifies me with a return call but as of now, avoid this company at all cost! Too many people offering similar services in Houston and surrounding areas to set yourself up for a customer service experience this terrible. Wish I could give less than 1 star at this point.
Additional added information: changed from 1 to 3 stars as they did eventually rectify UV light situation and offer to buy (although I didn't accept) the extension cord. I received a called on Memorial Day, nearly 1 month after posting this review that they had let go of technician due to similar issues (although I also had issues with the office and getting return calls, follow-up, etc) and would like to send someone to fix this situation. On Thursday, Tom came out and was helpful. Hence, a change from 1 to 3 stars. They have offered a free cleaning for next year as well - so I will update again after that customer service experience.
