Love our landscaping lights done by Houston Lightscapes. We’ve had our lights for over 5 years and recently added moonlights. They add an incredible look. We recently had a power outage that messed up the timers. I made a phone call to Mike and by that afternoon his guys were out and fixed my issue—they also replaced some lights that were out—-all at no charge. You can’t beat the quality and service of Houston Lightscapes!!!

I hired Houston Light Scapes to install lighting in both my front and back yards, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Their estimator, Danny Grimes, did a fantastic job—he thoroughly explained the process over the phone and even met with me in person to give a live demo of how the lights would look once installed. That really helped me visualize the outcome and better understand how many fixtures were necessary. I appreciated that he was honest and even recommended reducing the number of lights to save on cost.

The installation team was equally impressive—professional, efficient, and flexible. They relocated my existing transformer and took care of a few extra tasks without being rigid about additional charges. The finished lighting looks absolutely stunning, and knowing that everything is backed by a warranty gives me great peace of mind.

my experience with this company deserves to be shared. My family and I booked lighting services and paid a deposit in good faith. When we decided not to move forward, we requested our deposit back — especially because the contract clearly does not state that the deposit is non-refundable.

Instead of working with us professionally, the company was rude, dismissive, and refused to return the deposit without providing any contractual basis for keeping it. The lack of transparency and basic customer service was shocking.

A company that operates with integrity honors its own written agreements, treats customers with respect, and doesn’t make up policies after the fact. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

Update: After posting my original review, I received a call from the owner. He aggressively demanded that I remove my review and said he would only issue a refund if I took the honest review down. This raises serious concerns about how many of the positive reviews here were obtained under similar pressure.

For transparency, I am including the email I received from him below. Also the contract where it never stated a refund was non refundable.

There are countless other reputable companies that offer the same service with far better professionalism and customer service. I strongly recommend reaching out to any other company — avoid this one. I don’t have a reason to lie but they sure do !!

I have been very impressed with the quality of the lights and installation. We have gone through a couple of hurricanes, freezes, and everything still works like it should. The price is spot on. I needed to update my tree lighting to LEDs. Mike came out and assessed my needs and gave me a very good price and date for the work to be done. I love the new lights and also how quickly the work was accomplished. These lights help a large yard stay lit throughout.
