Dean Fridy did our remodel of the kitchen and baths and is/are holding up well.
Dean was here or called/ texted almost every day of the project, as scheduled.
His crews were Great, on schedule and excellent quality work.
I do recommend getting any other bids before calling Dean.

DMV does high quality work. We appreciated the detail oriented focus. All the workers were fantastic. We especially appreciated Johnny and all his hard work. Dean was always available for questions. The only downside was the cost. Our all in cost was about 30% over the original estimate. Overall, we are very pleased with our new bathroom.

Five years ago we hired Dean and his team to remodel our bathroom. We were so impressed with the results that we asked him to do our kitchen, with one caveat, we need it done by Thanksgiving, this was early October……not only did he pull it of, it looked amazing. 5 years later our bathroom and kitchen still look awesome. The classic look is timeless and the great workmanship says it all.

Dean and his excellent crew at DMV transformed our very small bathroom with a tub into a beautiful ADA compliant bath with an amazing walk-in shower that has a bench and grab bars so people with all degrees of mobility can shower safely.
Dean and his craftsmen were very patient with me as I maneuvered my way in my first ever remodeling project. The workers patiently listened as I questioned the height of the pony wall and whether the pocket door needed to be solid core after the hollow core door was in. Then, they quickly made these changes happen.
There were cost overruns due to the old original plumbing needing to be replaced. But, the changes and cost were after our approval. We are excited and happy that the old pipes have been replaced, something we knew was in our future.
I'd like to thank Dean and all his craftsmen for their professional expertise, their good natured presence, and their respect for other parts of the house as they were working in and out of the bathroom.

I recently had DMV Kitchen & Bath, LLC remodel my primary bathroom, and I am very very happy with the results. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the execution of every detail was handled with great care. The team was professional and meticulous, ensuring that nothing needed to be redone. DMV Kitchen & Bath just finished the final punchlist items from remodeling both my primary and hall bathrooms. Both new showers are ADA compliant for accessibility with zero entries. Their craftspeople were superb and efficient, working with a detailed eye as though it was their own home. Each craft laid out protective floor covers and worked clean as they went. The finished product in the primary bath is what you see in these photos, from the new shower to the custom cabinet now filling the space from the old shower.
Dean Fridy, head contractor, offered astute, well thought out design assistance on each phase of the job. His assistant, Jonny, saw to every minute detail of the project from beginning to end. Everyone associated with the work had an attentive, positive attitude, affording confidence in the job they were doing for me.

I would highly recommend DMV Kitchen & Bath to anyone looking to improve their living space. Next, I will be calling them to update my kitchen. Hopefully, they will be busy working your projects, so I will have to get on the schedule soon!

We used DMV for our complete bathroom remodel including beautiful custom tile work, natural stone countertops and flooring. The remodel includes a new room layout, custom-built vanity and upgraded plumbing and electrical features. Dean Fridy, a gifted designer, and Jonny, his skilled assistant, provided daily site visits to ensure the smooth coordination and scheduling of the work crews. The crews were professional, attentive to details and exhibited true craftmanship. Each day they prepared to protect the home with drop cloths, cleaned up after their workday and removed all debris each day. We were comfortable with DMV and their crews in our home and will do more projects together in the future.

We've used DMV on several occasions including a repiping of the entire house with PEX, installing a tankless water heater, tile floors throughout and a complete kitchen remodel. Dean and his team are some of the best people I've worked with and would highly recommend them.

We've got a 1955 Mid-century Ranch Style home in Willow Meadows and keeping it period authentic was key during the remodel. Dean was actively engaged and assembled a crew of craftsmen that delivered on the vision.

No project goes perfectly. A real partner is one that jumps in the ditch with you and gets it back on track. DMV has proven to be that partner again and again.

After having DMV do a complete redo of our master bathroom last fall, we had them come back and do an entire remodel of our 26-year old kitchen. The finished kitchen is everything we could have imagined with significantly more cabinet space and a more efficient layout. Dean was patient with us when we were making our tile and paint selections as it took us numerous iterations of ideas before we finally decided on exactly what we wanted. Although the process may have taken a while, we are extremely pleased by the end result. As before with our master bathroom, all of the workers did an outstanding and thorough job. We were extremely pleased with their attention to detail and customer service. Once again, I would recommend DMV Kitchen and Bath to anyone who is willing to spend what it takes to get a top-of-the-line kitchen or bath remodel done.

I recently had DMV complete a complete “gut out” and make over of my 30 year old kitchen into a complete kitchen paradise. From initial design to signing the contract throughout the entire demolition and rebuild process, I witnessed Dean’s crew of contractors turn my old antiquated kitchen from the 90’s into a modern kitchen that will service my family for years to come.

As a widower, I relied on Dean for help with in picking everything from wall paint, backsplash and floor tile and many other things. He helped me realize my vision of a massive island where my kids and I can gather for breakfast or any other meal and just hang out. From the moment I signed the contract until completion, his attention to detail and organization has been astounding. Everything flowed perfectly for us. In this climate of supply chain issues he managed to get everything delivered on time. We even decided to paint the living room to match the kitchen so it all flows and his crew was able to do that as well even though it wasn’t part of the job. His crew was also good in pointing out things that needed to be repaired that I hadn’t seen but were crucial for a successful kitchen job.

Don’t be fooled, a kitchen renovation is not cheap these days when you want the best and a good job completed in really good time. You’re not just picking Dean, he is picking you as well.

I agree with other reviews that if you are willing to spend the money then DMV is the perfect choice and you will avoid nightmares.

Update: Our new upstairs master bath is complete, and we are in the middle of the kitchen and downstairs master bath remodel. We couldn’t be more thankful or happier with the outcome of our upstairs bathroom. It is even more beautiful than we imagined, and we are in awe of the DMV team.

We expected to feel completely overwhelmed and uncomfortable during this extremely large remodel of our home, but Dean and his team have gone above and beyond to make us feel cared for and comfortable. We have enjoyed every person that has entered our home, and we have no worries or concerns about the final results. We will update again soon!

First post: We hired Dean and his team to complete a large kitchen and multiple bath remodel after careful thought and consideration. He and his team have continued to be friendly, professional and thorough throughout the planning and preparation process. We are so happy to report that our first day of demolition is complete, and they left the workspace clean and tidy.

Upon deciding that it was time for a new kitchen, we quickly found it to be a daunting experience. After quite a bit of shopping around and interviewing many disappointing contractors, we finally found DMV. We became fast friends and teammates. They got us started and got us finished.

Our experience with Dean, Jonny, and the rest of the team was top notch from the very beginning. They are local, passionate about their work, flexible, and committed to their customer's requests.

Dean and the team worked closely and patiently with us, supporting us in transitioning from simply wanting "a new kitchen" to us having a vision for our dream kitchen.

DMV got our creative juices flowing, provided some loose structure to think against, got us excited and engaged, and together we laid down some basics to kick off the project. From there we nailed down design decisions in a carefully curated and systematic (but not overwhelming!) way as we proceeded through the project. This minimized analysis paralysis and decision stress, making the project more bite sized.

The project scope ran from gut job to comprehensive completion. This all ran smoothly. There were a couple normal hiccups along the way related to my 1988 home and supply chain, but at each issue DMV had a clear explanation and a proposed way forward.

Dean helped us explore our creative limits and led a fantastic execution. This is no cookie cutter kitchen.

Wow! DMV Kitchen & Bath has completed a 2nd job (see review below for our bathroom remodel) for us and we could not be happier. Our new kitchen is both highly functional and quite beautiful. Dean at DMV coordinates a cadre of highly skilled tradesmen who take pride in their work and thus deliver a quality product. Dean also has a knack for blending color, texture and pattern to create an artful space. Yes, we spent more on this project than we originally intended, but the results are worth every penny!. We are ready now for the holidays. We will be entertaining family and friends in a wonderful new space. Thanks, Dean!

Great design and quality workmanship.

DMV remodeled three and half bathrooms, a large kitchen and replaced flooring throughout our 2,800 sf elevated home. The outcome surpassed our expectations. Dean has provided great ideas for the design and material selection, understanding our tastes and limitations. His craft teams are excellent, good to work with, deliver quality work and keep the workplace clean. The work was completed to the initial price for installation and the allowances for materials, fixtures and fittings for this large job have proved to be accurate. As is common with this type of work, issues arise. Dean has always responded positively and addressed them to our satisfaction, but the work did extend beyond the initial time estimate.

We felt from our first conversation with Dean that he and his team were going to be the correct choice for our very large remodel. He proved us right. His genuine care and concern for our home and our well-being during the renovation was nothing less than wonderful and held up to everything he promised.

We were told what to expect each step of the way, so we were prepared, and Dean checked in very frequently to ensure our expectations were being met. From the planning to the demolition, to the rebuilding and final details, the extraordinary high level of workmanship, organization and cleanliness were upheld. I’m not sure anyone else would have matched this type of care and consideration.

DMV Kitchen & Bath did an amazing job replacing my guest bathtub shower combo and the surround! The quoted me within my budget, but gave me the freedom to buy my own bathtub and tile so that I could get the coloring and textures that I wanted and meet the style and flow of the rest of my home. They said 4 days, and even working around the long holiday weekend, my project was completed in just 4 days. They were all very professional, easy to talk to, and were only a text message away when I had a question. They cleaned up every day and always asked my permission to store supplies overnight until the next day. I can't wait to try out the guest bath tomorrow night!
