Swimming Pool Contractor reviews in Houston, Texas

Bait and switch! Ma tt Provided a contract with one price , then price changed 8k+ overnight with no changes other than a smaller pool! Even after acknowledging the "mistake" no price change was offered or contract price matched. Instead offered freebies that were already discussed in the original contract.

Belinda was very helpful and professional. This is my family's first pool and she took the time to walk me through everything and answered all of my questions. Belinda and the crew rock! Thank you!! I would have no reservations in recommending Blue Haven to anyone!

Blue Haven pools on Space Center Blvd is hands down number 1 from the moment we entered the beautiful impressive show room, the friendliness of Shaun, and Sabrina they took their time with us delivered a beautiful pool design exactly like we wanted to the finished product we are so glad we chose Blue Haven above others

I recently had the pleasure of working with Blue Haven Pools (Shaun) to build a pool at my home in Friendswood, Texas, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. From the initial consultation to the final touches, the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional.

One of the most impressive aspects is the authenticity of their staff. Every team member I interacted with was not only knowledgeable and skilled but also genuinely passionate about their work. They took the time to listen to my ideas, answer all my questions, and offer valuable insights that helped bring my vision to life.

What truly sets them apart is their unwavering commitment to doing things the right way. They never cut corners to save on building expenses, ensuring that every aspect of the pool construction met the highest standards of quality and safety for my kids. Their attention to detail was evident in every phase of the project.

Throughout the process, the team kept me informed and involved, making sure I was happy with each step before moving forward. This level of transparency and dedication to customer satisfaction is rare and greatly appreciated.

I highly recommend Blue Haven to anyone considering a pool construction project. Excited to enjoy our beautiful oasis for years to come!

Review for Cody Keller & Blue Haven Pools

Working with Cody Keller at Blue Haven Pools was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. From the very beginning, Cody was extremely responsive and proactive with communication—always keeping us informed and making sure every question was answered.

What really set him apart was the time and care he invested on site. Cody consistently went above and beyond to ensure the work met his high standards of quality, and it gave us complete confidence in the process. He didn’t just manage from a distance; he was present, attentive, and clearly committed to delivering the best outcome possible.

On top of his professionalism, Cody is simply a great person to work with—friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested in making sure we were happy. And we couldn’t be more thrilled with the final result: our pool turned out absolutely beautiful. It exceeded our expectations, and we’re endlessly pleased with how everything came together.

If you’re looking for someone who combines top-tier professionalism with personal integrity and genuine care, I can’t recommend Cody Keller and Blue Haven Pools enough.

We signed our contract with Blue Haven pools in December 2025 we broke ground on January 20, 2026 and on February 23. our pool was full and beautiful. We had an absolutely flawless build thanks to Matt and Brad! Also want to shout out the Richmond office for helping us pick such beautiful finishes. I highly recommend Blue Haven pools!

What a great experience. The process and final product exceeded our expectations. Mike C. did a great job on the design and captured exactly what we wanted. Everyone at HCP was very professional and easy to work with. They also completed everything ahead of schedule!

Called from some information on a pool I’m wanting to get for my backyard, very helpful young lady! Her name was Cassidy I think? Will be looking forward to speaking more here

My wife and I chose HCP from several suggestions from co-workers and personal interviews. This is our first pool and we wanted to get it right from a quality standpoint and value. Since we were new to this there were a few changes made along the way, but each time it was effortless. Mike C, Mike L, and of course Miguel and their teams of contractors made the vision come to life. We're very happy with the final product and have already spent countless hours enjoying and learning about our pool and will for many years to come.
Thanks guys!

These guys did a great job helping me design an awesome backyard, they built my pool quick and it’s beautiful, we love it! It’s been 2 years now and they still answer my questions anytime! I texted Jake this morning with a question at 7:30am and he was happy to help! Thanks Houston Cool Pools!

I couldn’t be happier with the planing and the construction work by cool pool. Of course I knew that since they built a pool for my son and he was very pleased too. Mike Lopez is so great. I changed the design and features few times and they were very understanding about it. After we finalized the plan and city permit the construction was very quick.

Cool Pools installed our pool with an awesome fountain 5 years ago. Recently bought new house needing a heater added- did a great job, installed in 1 day!

Worked with Mike L on our custom pool he was just amazing and so helpful throughout the entire process! Really happy with the results #MikeListhebest #MikeLisjustawesome #Ilovehoustoncoolpools

Always completing her tasks efficiently and to the best of the expectations
Thanks Sarah for your work and dedication

Sarah is an amazing service tech!! Exceptional knowledge and understanding of the pool industry. Would highly recommend her and this company for all your pool needs.

HCP is a fantastic pool company. They installed my pool in 2020. Very professional job, and an amazingly gorgeous pool. Even better, they have been super responsive/helpful ever since (Mike...Jake...Sarah...Miguel...they're all great), and very reasonably priced for their services as well. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Jake was exceptional! He did a fantastic job with my pool. I HIGHLY recommend him for all your pool needs.

My husband and I chose Houston Cool Pools because of Mike Lopez, the owner, who visited our house on a cold rainy day right after Christmas when everyone else was telling us they were on vacation. The dedication spoke volumes immediately. Mike was honest, thoughtful and straightforward without ever overshooting our budget at any point throughout the quoting process or construction. The project was a huge success and we are very happy pool owners. The project did take a little bit to get off the ground once we all came to an agreement but once it was started, it was managed by Miguel Sosa who is one of the best project managers that we have had. Miguel was very passionate about the entire process. He would show up after a long day in the sun to make sure the "little" things were taken care such as trash and any inconveniences that you may have in your backyard. Knowing Miguel is a family man, my husband and I were very appreciative that he would work after hours to ensure success of our project. Miguel kept all of the contractors in line and would go up to bat for us when we did not think that something was correct after installation. Miguel would call the contractors out if he felt like they cut corners or did not do quality work. This did not happen much, but we did notice that Miguel does not settle for mediocrity. Overall, the coordination of the vast amount of contractors (gunite, plumbing, tile, equipment, etc.) was pretty seamless with Miguel in charge. Only due to weather did we ever have delays and by the end we met our timeline that we set out for at the beginning. We are happy pool owners and would recommend Houston Cool Pools to everyone!

Miguel took great care of our situation. Remodeled the pool and surrounding decks. No more leaking Pool! Hooraaay!!!

We interviewed a few companies before choosing Houston Cool Pools to build our pool last year. We made the right choice. The quality and professionalism from everyone at HCP was top notch.
People talk about good service but even after a full year, we still find HCP to take the time to help us with questions. We could not be more pleased with the results. This has been a game changer in how we use our back yard.
This was a custom design and HCP worked with us to tweak it until it was just right.
Don't buy your pool before talking to Houston Cool Pools.

Fantastic services and very helpful in every pool need you might have. They were able to get parts quick and make sure pumps were repaired before they would have costly replacements.
