I love my guys, from trash to recycling. Always come and take everything and for my family of 5 that can definitely be ALOT. Sorry about every one else’s experience but as for me I 0 negative things to say 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have no problems with this company. Today they really went above and beyond. Our street is torn apart and yet they backed in to pick up our trash. Awesome job.

I would like to thank the crew (Tyron, Winston & Roberto) that came today to pickup not just trash but heavy trash in Alvin.
The 3 man crew was very professional and most helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond, they were very courteous to a little old lady trying to clean up someone else's mess!! Thank you!! Great staff on truck RL-135!!!

Victoria is the ONLY reason why I gave your company a 5 star review. I set out a table for pick up well ahead of my scheduled trash pick up day. On the day of, for some reason unbeknownst to me the crew made an executive decision not to pick up the table. They need to understand that their laziness has serious ramifications. If I'm out of town, my wife cannot drag the table back in and now we are at risk of being sanctioned by the HOA.
Now I had to waste time by calling in to see why did they not pick up the table. Did I do something wrong?
After a very long period on hold I decided to opt in for a call back. Victoria was my rep. She took charge immediately. She apologized for the inconvenience that I suffered. She told me next steps. She told me to give them until 4pm that evening for them to complete the pick up and if they didn't I should call back. Of course they didnt. I called bk and she again told me what was next. She followed up the next day and told me they would be there and they were. Victoria takes her promises to her customers very seriously. Her follow-up game was on point. She got my issue resolved. Whatever she said, she delivered on it. I truly hope she gets promoted soon and the company can use her to train other employees, especially the drivers on the impact of delivered as promised.

I only hope that they sent the same drivers out to do the pick up and then write them all up for wasting company resources by having to dispatch a truck to do a job that should have been done a day ago. Wasting fuel, payroll and exposing the company to whatever unforseen risk.

I've been a texas pride customer for many years and they are a solid company. Thank you for hiring a gem like Victoria. I won't hold it against you for that bad apple crew. I still love Texas Pride Disposal....

Hello to all Not quite sure if I have figured this all out today but I am trying to leave a review for a young lady who I spoke with who is so well mannered and made things Easy as could be from me pardon me but My husband recently passed so I am trying to get everything together Victoria Is a wonderful bright lady Who has a great future ahead of her whether if she stays or moves on to a bigger role or company she helped me understand the sticker process as my trash has not been picked up prior to the holidays due to my husband passing she made sure I got a new one sent out and sent me one personally my trash was finally picked up today and I also got my sticker just as she stated I hope to have her in the future for any other needs or I may request to go speak with only her I am disabled so she made sure to have a valet sticker placed on my trash bin and I no longer struggle to take it all the way out the crew did amazing today I hope I was not a bother to her but I want her to know she made things so easy as I quite frankly was very stressed out due to everything accumulating I spoke with a young lady prior to her and she rushed me off of the phone and told me No service was due to no payment but I never got the chance to let her know my husband passed away I tried to call in one more time and Got the assistance I was hoping for in the beginning please giver her the right praise This young lady did wonders and brightened my very day please giver me a call if you want to hear more God Bless You All

Trash came a day late. We were having hi winds due to cold front & wind blew part of our sticker off. Needless to say they didn’t pick up the trash & when we called the office didn’t help. (Also, the trash here only gets picked up once a week!)

I don’t know how other people’s experience is in suburban areas, but for our rural home, we have consistently not had our trash picked up on trash days despite valid stickers and trash left on the curb the night before. Most recently, they’ve stopped picking up our trash entirely for weeks despite several emails to their office with no response.

We had ok service for several years. Trash and recycling pick up occurred when it was supposed to about 90% of the time. Bins were often left open and in weird places. When the civic association decided to change service, Texas Pride stopped picking up trash for the last 2 weeks of the contract. To be clear, I paid for those last 2 weeks of service and no trash and recycling was picked up. They refused to refund that money.

Agreed with all the previous reviews that vote Texas Pride as the worst garbage disposal company. Over the last couple of years they have destroyed a recycling bin that I provided myself, they've run over my solar lights and now they've thrown an entire recycling bin into the truck and crushed it.

They are definitely answering the phone these days (which is way better than it used to be), but remedies to problems still seem to be on Texas Pride's terms.

I spoke with a supervisor, Jesus, today about this issue. Jesus, I appreciate the call back. Texas Pride - if you're listening, you are not empowering your customer service managers to make things very right. You will provide me with a replacement bin that is exactly like the other bins you provide with your logo, but you will not reimburse me for the one I had. And I have to wait 2 weeks to get the new bin. Given the amount of customers you have, one would expect replacement bins to be immediately available.

So individuals and HOAs - read these reviews carefully before choosing your next trash provider.

Texas not-so-prideful disposal. Will not provide a new sticker after I paid my bill. Won't pick up my trash without a renewed sticker. So I am essentially paying for service that I'm not receiving. Forget anyone to answer the phone. They don't. They break your trash cans when they do actually pick up. Ridiculous.

Some of the worst service I have ever experienced in a neighborhood is provided by Texas Pride. They miss pick ups all the time. Tell you they will send a truck to service same day. Truck never shows up. They then tell you that they will submitted a missed pick up and clearly don’t. Trash sits on curb for 4+ days.

Poor customer service. Can go multiple weeks without pickup. Then call center associate will tell you they will get it this week and don't worry about it. Bill is on auto deduct and never missed a payment. Customer service refuses to refund when they go multiple weeks without picking up. They tell me I need a new sticker. They do not take the initiative to mail it. You have to call and then they tell you it could take up to 3 weeks.

Worst trash collectors I’ve experienced. Don’t fully dump the bins, throw bins everywhere and have a sticker on bin system that requires customers to perform regular tasks. Seldom send the stickers and if not up to date on cans, collectors just leave the trash. They have to focus on customers and improve their technology.

We utilize Texas Pride commercial services for a couple years and this is the worst of the all the companies in Houston area. Texas Pride is inconsistent with service. All we ask for is communication, if schedule service is going to be missed - just communicate when we can expect the next pick up. It's pulling teeth. Trash service should be autonomous and require little energy throughout the workday. Every week there are issues. I would not recommend this company to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

Texas Pride is the absolute worst. If ZERO stars was an option ... that's what I would give them.

2024 Review: If Texas Pride's sticker (which barely sticks) falls off of your trash can or if it's not visible, they will NOT pick up your garbage even if you've paid for the entire quarter. When you call Texas Pride, you'll hold for 20 minutes to speak with a customer service rep, but they won't issue a refund even though you already paid for services NOT rendered. They said they're running off of the sticker program (despite everyone's stickers falling off - see photos that we've taken over the past several months). Texas Price - good job on once again taking our money without providing the service we paid for. Texas Price is the absolute worst.

This was the review I left them in 2023: Unreliable. They were a “no show” in our neighborhood on the past two scheduled days although their website and their voicemail says there will be “no disruption of service due to the holiday”. So, the garbage has been sitting out in our neighborhood for two days since you never know when they’ll pick up which looks bad when many of us are having company for the holidays. I’ve tried calling & emailing - no response. Disappointing.

This company picks and chooses what items they want to dispose of, we neatly stacked the trash from our recent move-in.
The crew ravaged through the trash and threw the garbage all over our driveway.
They took a few bags of garbage and left. Mind you, they had left the trash from the previous two scheduled trash pickup days.

If I could give no star I would. My cart is cracked almost in half and they believe that we somehow intentionally broke the cart. Unless they have evidence of their giant trucks causing damage, they will nom replace them yet, they still provide service to people that do not pay. I have been trying to communicate with them for almost 3 months and now that they have responded I was told that's too bad, they need to be notified within 7 days so they can review the camera from the truck. They expect me now to buy a new cart for them to destroy again. Worst service for paying customers.

I started service in September 2020, they came door to door after town and country was sold. They were very friendly and promised to be on time and pick up 2x a week. I'm lucky if they pick once a week, I've even gone a full month without them picking up my trash. Chatting everyday with them promising to send someone back out. Guess what they never show. You call and call no one calls you back, the only way to talk to someone is thru chat on the site. I've been very understanding but I'm done. This is ridiculous, I shouldn't have to beg for them to do the job I pay them to do. I can't even get them to answer the phone to cancel my service.

Terrible service from this company do not hire them for their services. They threw my 3 year old daughter’s jeep toy away and didn’t care less about the matter. After sending videos and evidence that the toy wasn’t anywhere near the trashcan. They’re answer was we can’t do anything about it. What a great Xmas present they gave my daughter. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE..you can clearly see in this picture the toy was behind my truck and no trashcan near by..mind you this is a $340 toy this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

I never knew you can hate a company so much. The stickers are the dumbest thing. They are a pain to put on because of the cut across the middle. The stickers were supposed to “save time” but they still throw the garbage cans everywhere.

Coming home on pick-up day is like driving an autocross. New obstacles and challenges await. And apparently, they think we’re all fat because the garbage cans are never by your house, and if they are, they’re in front of the driveway, blocking it.

I like to try and end on a positive note. They haven’t raised prices as fast as other companies have…for now.

Texas Pride "used to" be a reliable trash removal company. We'd have given them 5 stars a year ago as they've served our neighborhood for years. BUT ... big but ... the last 6 months or so has been a disaster with them. No pickups on the days scheduled... sloppy work... missed trash containers... and even taking one of our 2 wheel push carts we filled with branches to make it easy for them!

We are in a small 30 house gated area and pay extra for "back door" pickup as it's known ... but that is all haphazard now as is the pickups. We've had weeks where no pickup at all happened leaving garbage and yard refuse stacked at the curb for 10-12 days.

You'd think the word "pride" would actually mean something -- to at least the owner! If you can't work a 30 yard neighborhood done well, you should be ashamed of your service.

FYI - these few pictures are the stacks of waste after 3 missed pickups several weeks ago!
