I want to brag about H20 Restoration Inc.~ Water Restoration remediation! Our new water heater blew a valve right after faulty installation & water came pouring thru walls & ceiling & flooded the whole house! The immediate response, the crew, the service has been so professional. They have gone the extra mile at every turn to remediate the damage & control mold to floors/walls/counter cabinets, etc. They kept us informed at all times. Outstanding customer service and support! I called for a leak in my ceiling on a Sunday and the technician was at my house within a couple of hours. Luke was knowledgeable about the issue and explained thoroughly what next steps should be. I would highly recommend this company.

Mike and his team were very responsive and efficient from day one of the process. My husband and I had severe flooding in our home due to an unprecedented rainfall in the South Texas area. Having the water mitigation process taken care of, took a lot of stress off of us and we are grateful for how everything turned out. BLUF: DO NOT LET ANYONE FROM THIS COMPANY IN YOUR HOUSE!!!

I came back from a road trip to find extensive water damage. I called Mike and they came right out. However, on day 2 I noticed one of my handguns was missing (I had to move everything due to the water damage and I had just used my handgun at a course for which I had to drive so it was in my travel case when I got back home to the damage). The way that the pistol was discovered missing left no doubt that it had been stolen (tried to swap it out in the pistol pouch hoping I wouldn’t notice it was missing) and not misplaced on the road trip. They all denied it of course, but when the constables questioned them, they believed that one was clearly acting suspicious. However, they ultimately had no proof to charge him. Mike said he would reimburse me for the cost of the stolen handgun, but has stopped responding to me.

So…he hired a crew member that stole a pistol from a homeowner, which is bad enough, but he also didn’t keep his word. Maybe this business was once pretty good, but it is clear that they have not kept up that same standard.

UPDATE: I just found out about some of the drama behind how he billed my home owners insurance for services rendered before he got fired. My adjuster asked for the inventory of items packed and pictures they were supposed to take along the process. She said she was waiting for their documents but they refused and said they’d put a lien on my house if he wasn’t paid, so she did pay him. He never provided proper documentation.

Now, months later, my job has been done by professional companies who have been providing the correct documentation. My items that were packed up and stored have now been brought back to my house. I’m missing all of the items that I had left in my closet, after grabbing the essentials that I thought would get me through the summer. I’m talking entire shelves of sweaters, boots, shoes, and purses that are missing. Before I discovered the missing pistol, the guys in his crew told me to grab what I needed from my closet because they were getting ready to pack it up. I had some space in the guest room upstairs where I could put some of my clothes and shoes, but I figured the rest would be ok to pack up until I get my closet back. I was making rounds moving some of it upstairs grabbing my summer essentials and such. That’s why I hadn’t grabbed any sweaters and some of my warmer boots for the Houston heat. Now I’m getting ready to move to Germany and I have none of it.

Like I said, this company is completely untrustworthy. Do not use them unless you want to be out thousands of dollars of your personal property.

I will never use ABC restoration ever again nor will I recommend them to anyone else. My experience with them was horrible and it lasted 8 months. Their estimator Brian is a dishonest man. I could never get a hold of him or get a response from him in a timely manner. It cost me $5600 to get my shower redone and that does not include shower doors. They cannot even do showers doors. Also, I found out through another contractor that hardiebacker is to be used in wet areas well, they installed green board! They are not professional and they do not care about your home. When I confronted him about how I was not pleased with my shower he lost his temper and threw a fit in my home and stood in my face and yelled. If you decide to use this company, Good luck because you will need it.

Mitigation side was very good and very fast. Renovation side provided great product overall and was really easy to work with. Definitely made the insurance process easy to deal with.

Good things come to those who wait.....so whomever needs any house repairs now or in the near future, I would like to recommend ABC restoration, Inc. for quality on workmanship, courteous staff, and experienced crew. Not to mention that company works with Insurances who have them listed as their Top 5 picks all around the Houston area. Our project took weeks to complete but at the end it all end up to be a win win situation. We’ve (spouse + myself) got a leak somewhere in the roof that finally debuted in the living room. Called these guys because they’re a 24/7 company and we don’t f around with water damage. We wanted it handled ASAP.

Contractor was great! He was on time, gave us a thorough inspection both inside and outside the house, and then stated he’d email us an itemized list & quote either that same day or the next day.

Welp, we’re going on nearly a week and have heard nothing. No quote. No list. Not even the courtesy of a return phone call (despite leaving a couple of voicemails ourselves). Though we’ve accepted that we’ve been forgotten and have moved on (again, we don’t f with water damage), we’re incredibly disappointed in this company.

Yes, I’ve seen the positive reviews. I was so excited to have found what appeared to be a good company to not screw us over but nope. Reality strikes again!

Our experience with ABC was unacceptable. Our water damaged wood floors needed to be replaced after finding water under them that had come in somewhere from our French doors. The project took 5 weeks to rip up our floors, treat the mold and fix the door. Workers were present for maybe 10 days of those weeks. We were charged EVERYTIME that our project manager came to our house to discuss concerns. The door was ‘fixed’ and water tested within a day. Our Initial plan was to replace all of our downstairs wood flooring after being told that it would have to be done. After some research on my part I found that that wasn’t the case and requested that they only replace the ruined wood floors. We were told that they couldn’t do that. We then said were going to look into other companies and I was told ‘good luck’. 3 weeks later I had my floors done by another company and they were beautiful UNTIL the wood started warping AGAIN! There was water intrusion in the exact same spots as before. ABC was contacted and came out to inspect the new damage. We were told that the water was coming from our newly placed outdoor planters that were placed near our French doors and we needed to move them and that they felt they did their job. WRONG! We were told specifically by the contractor that there was no water coming in from their repairs and there was nothing more he could do for this project. The next day we had another contractor out and soon our floors were removed again and the door removed to find the work ABC had done was inadequate. The ‘concrete’ they had placed beneath the door had never dried and was said to have been improperly prepared among other things. After repairing the new damaged floors and appropriately fixing the door, we have now spent an extra $8000. More so, our project manager Phil was more often then not rude, aggressive, and sometimes inappropriate with sexist and lewd comments. It makes me sad to see that this is how business is done, leaving people stranded and not being accountable. Such a shame

We were asked what brand of ceiling fans we had previously and what brand of paint we preferred to use. We even picked out the paint colors from the brand we chose. A cheaper brand of ceiling fans were used to replace what was lost and they even went as fast as having the paint colors mixed to match what we picked in a cheaper brand. The paint was supposed to be guaranteed for 3 years. When it started peeling just weeks later, the company would never return our calls to repair it. We questioned wether painting the vinyl wallpaper on our mobile home would work and we are told it would & that they do it all the time. It did not. Our laminate flooring was not laid correctly so it chipped and buckled weeks later. A final walk through never happens because the owner become unresponsive. The carpenter did an amazing job on our bathroom when it was rebuilt, but that’s about all we can say for this company.

The team from ABC was a very positive experience. Although the process of reconstruction following a major water leak was not pleasant, working with ABC's project team was very business like and they did excellent work. I hope to never need ABC or any other recovery company, but if the situation does indeed present itself I will contact and work with ABC again.

My home was damaged due to waters leaked from a second floor. Mr. Ean Mazzeo was outstanding with his leadership on helping my family’s rebuilding project. His crews & the works are second to none. The damage to my home was so sad. But then ABC restoration came in and repaired and made my home, even more beautiful. Phil and Lonnie went the extra mile to make this effortless. Very good company to work with. They did an excellent job replacing my roof and rebuilding my patio. If you want professionals these are it! Phil Bryant walked us through the process and made sure everything was done correctly.
