I've used Lightning a couple times for small problems around the house. Very quick response time and quality work. Highly recommend them.

I needed a quick appointment. Office let me know they would call me if anyone cancelled. I was able to get in 48 hours quicker due to follow up. Service was courteous, professional and extremely reasonable. Very happy with this company.

Best electrician in town. Rick and his crew did my electric work when I remodeled my house in 2022. Rick is a very honest and professional electrician. His price is very fair. I was getting quote 2 to 3 times of what Rick quoted me! The quality of work was amazing and his office communicated exceptionally well regarding the timeline and budget.

I had a very good experience with Lightning Electrical. The office manager/dispatcher was friendly and very helpful, and Robert, the lead electrician she sent out, was very skilled and easy to work with. He and his crew did a great job very efficiently and I'll definitely be calling them again for any future electrical work.

I had Lightning do A LOT of work at my house, they installed about 20 LED wafers, did my bathroom sconces, installed three fixtures outside, redid the fixture over my dining room table and replaced all the fans in my house. The whole time it was Dillon and Manuel working and they did a great job. The braved the super hot attic, they were super patient whenever I asked them to revise or double check anything and they were careful for clean up any insulation and other debris that came out of the ceiling. I highly recommended working with them for all your electrical needs.

I had them come and install an outdoor plug so I could plug in string lights. The price was reasonable and the work was good. The final price was slightly higher than the original quote, due to the fact I had fire resistant metal where I wanted them to run the wire so I needed a wireless plug. There is no way anyone could have known this before they started the work. I appreciated them being thorough and looking at all options and presenting me with a few ways to do this. They even hung the lights for me. I would definitely hire them again.

Lighting Electrical did an amazing job with installing a transfer switch kit for our generator so that in the event of a power outage, we can power the whole house. When they came out to our home and gave us a quote, they were $500 cheaper than our other quote, and even after we had to delay in holding off on having the service done for quite a bit of time, they were prompt in giving us an updated quote and then scheduled service within the next week. The electrician arrived at the quoted arrival time and quickly performed the work. We were surprised that although we were quoted a 3 hour install time, it only took him less than 2 hours! He tested the generator to ensure it powered our house and then showed us how to operate the transfer switch. We were very pleased with our experience with Lightning Electrical. Their office staff was amazing as well at answering any questions we had! Please use them for your next electrical needs!

Lightning Electrical installed a new sub panel for me. The price was very fair, they were responsive to questions, and the work was done in the time frame promised. The final product exceeded my expectations.

I've used these guys for a number of projects around the house for years. Additionally, when I built a tiny house in the backyard they did an incredible job during my lengthly build. The crew was always friendly, helpful and knowledge. They did everything to code and have always passed Austin code inspections with flying colors. Would 100% recommend!

Sean and his team did an incredible job with my new barndominium/workshop. The build had a lot of unique requirements and special lighting, but I knew Sean's attention to detail and he and his team were awesome!

    Same day service.
Needed to replace a burned up 125v main breaker and move the new breaker to an unburned location in the breaker box for temporary use.
Then a week later they replaced the whole breaker box for long term safety.

We had an excellent experience with Lighting Electrical and I highly recommend them! One circuit of lights in our home had been out for years, and previous electricians told us the only fix would be tearing up our kitchen (which I was not going to do). The team from Lighting Electrical took on the challenge, and even though it was tricky, they managed to solve it—after three years, I finally have a working light in my laundry room! They were professional, kind, and reasonably priced. I’m thrilled with the outcome and will definitely be calling them again.

Little late on the review; but our recent weather reminded me of what a joke Lightning Electric was.
After our house was destroyed by a freak central TX tornado almost 4yrs ago to the day I write this, we needed a complete rebuild. Lightning Electric was subbed out by our contractor. It took them literally 2 months to rewire a gutted and framed out house, to where we were ready for insulation and dry wall to be installed. They routinely would not show up; routinely left the job site to go perform work on other jobs such as a Pawn Shop in Rockdale, TX.
They routinely needed my wife to show, and reshow where our canned lighting was supposed to go in. Which thank God she was available as they would have screwed us on our cabinets and oven installs.
They failed to connect our door bell.
And above all else, I was wanting to install a Generator Disconnect Switch. Which at the time; I did not know the appropriate term; and made it known to the owner the entire time that I wanted "provisions for generator power installed". And I was adamant that I wanted it to include my wife constantly reminding Lightning every time she spoke with them.
After the house was switched from the T-pole to main service, the owner ( I assume) called telling me "well, its dangerous to backfeed a house from a generator, it can be done but its not safe; you really need a disconnect switch installed, which is easier installed when we did the panel and before when you were on the T-pole. But we can still do it, it will just cost more".
At that point after being held hostage to living in an RV because Lightning Electric was just one tooth on the gear of jokes that came with our contractor Jim Nuckols, I said forget about. What in his mind did he interpret "provisions for generator power" to be; is unbeknownst to me.
So here's to you Lightening Electric, that generator disconnect would have came in handy. It's ok, we still got it figured out, and will now get one installed by someone who can at least handle connecting a doorbell.
