Todd and his crew have done a great job for us installing our new backyard. Todd has great ideas and listens to what you like and will work for you and your budget. I never felt pressured in the design or sales cycle.

They did a full install of a dry riverbed, planters beds with mulch, plants, trees, weed barrier, and drip. The communication is the best I’ve ever had from a contractor. I reviewed and signed off on every change and it was clear if it was something that could be done within the current budget or if there where additional costs.

When I wanted to add to the scope, the changes were reasonably priced and he adjusted his schedule to accommodate it. I was never surprised in the process.

As for price I got quotes from multiple vendors and the pricing was not the most expensive but also was not the cheapest. After seeing the quality of what was installed i feel like i got a great deal. One thing that set Todd’s team apart is that with other landscapers it took a lot of work to get responses. todd and his team always responded and gave clear expectations on delivery or response. You will always know what’s going on and when.

I will be doing multiple projects in the future with todd and would recommend his team to anyone looking to turn their yard into their dream yard.

We're new to Hutto and so are first-timers for most services in the area, and landscaping was no different. We got several quotes and went with Veteran Lawn Care. Todd was wonderful from start to finish! He gave us a quote quickly, did a fantastic job, and we paid exactly what was quoted. He got our backyard cleaned up and looking wonderful; we have multiple flower beds that were not cared for by previous homeowners so we were unable to plant in them. After Todd and his crew came through and worked their magic we have tons of space for spring planting! They cleaned up a stone patio that was overgrown with weeds, which every other company we quoted with refused to handle. The trees in our front yard are now pruned, cleaned, and ready to grow! On top of doing an amazing job, Todd went out of his way to get all the work done on short notice so our yard would be beautiful and ready for company for my husband's birthday party. He even worked on Sunday to make sure everything was handled for us. The pricing was lower than every other quote we received, work was impeccable, and Todd is genuinely a great guy. On top of all that, we get to support a veteran which is always a good feeling. We would use him again in a minute, and will be referring any of our friends who need great lawn and tree care to Todd. Save yourself some time and hassle and go straight to Veteran Lawn Care & Landscaping!

On read the reviews before calling. All the reviews were absolutely correct about Todd returning your call quickly. He called and came out the same day. I was having a graduation party here the upcoming weekend. I needed all my flower beds around the entire house cleaned up. I also needed to flower beds around our pool cleaned up. They had their hands full with this project. Todd and his guys came out on Friday the day before the party. I was so thankful he was going to be able to get this done before our party especially with such short notice. His crew did a FANTASTIC job. They had to cut rose bushes back. They shaped our bushes so neatly and removed all weeds and dead flowers/plants that were in the beds. We are having Todd and his team hopefully come up with some ideas for our businesses landscaping now. I would definitely recommend veteran lawn care and I will definitely be using their services again and again in the future.

VERY DISAPPOINTED by the service performed by Todd on my backyard. He made me spend more than I should have on landscaping and it’s not even worth the amount I paid for. When I confronted him about it, his reply was “Learned from my mistakes”. And for him to change the way it looks, he stated that he has to charge me AGAIN. BE CAREFUL!!!

Edited 6/17: Todd, the owner, did come by personally after my initial review, which I appreciated. However, there were still ongoing communication challenges that made it difficult to move forward confidently.

I reached out last week to see if they could give me a quote to re-plant my front flower bed. sent photos per their request. then they sent a booking request google form. the form said they had availability all week, but today (a week later) was their first available. I booked it. no one showed, and no one has responded to a follow up ”is anyone coming?” email I sent. good thing I didn’t spend any money to this point. pretty disappointed given that they’re a veteran run company and we’re veterans ourselves.

I called on a Monday received a quote for bi monthly service at my home… I agreed to the terms and requested a contract be drafted.

I sent them a picture of a jungle, as if it was my backyard… Tuesday they stated they didn’t want to move forward with services… I think they thought it was really my backyard… not sure, but its both funny and sad!

These guys lack professionalism and the required sense of humor to do business with regular people!!!

Do not recommend, seems odd to me… I basically got ghosted without an explanation!!!

I've hired Veteran’s Lawn Service for residential landscaping every 2-3 weeks, and the experience is exceptional from start to finish. No one ever answers my call, I gave up and went with a more known landscape company who answered the phone right away

I can't say enough good things about this business. They charged me fraction of another company and was done in a very timely fashion. They repaired three sprinkler zones which I coudn't fix.

Always an honest, pleasant and professional experience. They are my go to with any sprinkler issue. Prices are affordable as well.

I just wanted to send TLC and Jeff with TLC a shout out. I had an issue with my sprinklers and I called TLC and they were able to have Jeff out within 3 hours. Jeff was able to get everything resolved within an hour along with repair one of my heads and my drip lines. Not only that, Jeff did an awesome job explaining what he was doing everything step of the way. If anyone one is having an issues with their sprinkler system, I would strongly recommend reaching out to TLC and having Marti get the ball rolling for you. Thank you TLC!

Worked with Garrett on a custom proposal to redesign our front/back yard. After comparing with 3 companies, Garrett's pricing was right down the line with competitors in the area. WE ARE THRILLED with the result of his design, available inventory, and the work by Jeff and team. Total time was 3 days for a full restructure of front and back yard. One of the hardest working, most honest, wise, efficient, and productive crews I've had the pleasure of hiring. WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND TIME AND TIME AGAIN!

Great work at a great price. They worked hard and quickly. We will use them again. Would recommend to family and friends.
