Roger with Eveready did an excellent job of relocating/adding switches in our guest bedroom. He was professional, advised us on the best solution, and was very thorough in his approach to the job. They provided the estimate and within a few days, the job was complete. Highly recommend.

I attempted to take my grievances directly to the company before making public, but have received no response.

Just the facts:
Hourly rate for labor is $175/person or $200 per two man team for each hour.

Received call at 0832 and said they would be out in about 20 minutes. Arrived at 0905 to run an upgraded line for a new water heater. About an hour into the job, states one guy needed to leave to get parts while other guy went to "finish another job." Why they had two jobs going at the same time I am unsure and I wonder if they left that job to "run for parts" while they started our job.

Returned about an hour later together. In and out of house constantly hauling same tools and drills in and out. It looked very much like the clock was being milked. They finally walked outside without saying a word and were out there for about 20 minutes. I walked outside to see if truck still here at 1145. They were standing in driveway. Looked startled when I approached and states they clocked out at 1130 and were "all done."

Went back inside and saw everything still open, electric panel off and wires exposed and hanging out. Went back out to ask about that. They said they were VERY close to finishing but just waiting on invoice and not sure why invoice taking so long. One can reasonably infer they were attempting to ride clock for the third hour.

Invoice came to $777! But they offered a 20% discount for paying cash, which we did, considering the high price. That was very suspicious, too.

Labor cost listing was very confusing on invoice. Rate never discussed prior to starting job. Upon looking at invoice more closely, they charged us for three hours of labor for the same job that Ford Electric did for me in January in an hour.

I'll will not be calling Eveready again. Even with the discount, we estimate we still overpaid by $100-$200, at least, but given we paid cash I doubt I'll ever see that money. The owner was supposed to call us yesterday to discuss the matter, but never did.
