Ordered blinds supposed to be installed in two weeks, it's been three weeks no expected date yet... dont recommend Home Depot...

Recently purchased 7 day Carpet with installation service. A lot of hassle following up on order, scheduling, flooring staff did not do good job at all. Messed up on ordering, bad communication. Carpet installers - Cooper did a good job after almost 15+ days (7 day carpet is a - no obligation part to HD, kind of misleading..) be aware.

They are throwing away perfectly good wood because they cannot scan it. Some pieces are marked with purple - a sign they said it was for discounted resale.
Other Home Depots give away the cut off scrap.

Filing our landfills with trees that have been processed, shipped - over over seas - wholesaled and then in the box store is ethically wrong. 2 carts they would rather throw away.

****2025 UPDATE: Two of our windows have leaked every time there is a big storm. We contact Home Depot every time and someone comes out and just puts more caulk on. The last time someone came out they finally admitted there is a bigger problem. Because our drywall started crumbling. They said the big window (the one that sat in the garage for about 6 months) isn’t the correct size and is causing the leaks into our walls and down into the first floor window. It’s been 2 months since then and we have not gotten any more information on what they are doing to fix it. *****

We ordered new windows for our house through Home Depot and Andersen Windows in October of 2021. It is now January 2023 and we are still missing 7 windows. One of those 7 windows was dropped off in our garage in early December 2022, with the promise that they would be back in 3 days to install it. Since then, we cannot get a hold of anyone at Andersen, and when we talk to Home Depot they told us our account was “closed” because the job was “finished”. We have been paying around $800 a month for these windows since we ordered them in October 2021, and the job is NOT finished. I need someone to contact me about this.
