Very good place, I recommend it

So sad. I love to shop at Home Depot, but my latest experience turned out to be very disappointing. I purchased a dishwasher and paid for a simple installation. I was told upon delivery, the installer had to contact a plumber to replace a valve under my sink (5 year-old home), but not to worry. I would have a call from a plumber within 72 hours. After four days, I called the service department and was told to expect a call within a week. After a week, I called the store only to find out I was never placed on the plumbers call list, but Iwould be placed on the list as an urgent install. I never received a call. After contacting service again, I was informed that I needed to call an independent plumber, have him replace the valve, and then call back for the install. One month later, I still have a new dishwasher sitting in my garage, that is totally usless. I've asked for a full refund and for someone to pick up the machine. We will see if the company follows through.

This has been the worst experience I have had with a Home Depot. I purchased a $2,000 generator, and issues began immediately with payment processing. Although I was told I would receive a delivery notification, none was provided. Instead, my neighbor informed me that the package had been left on the sidewalk.

Upon arriving home, I discovered the box was severely damaged, and the generator’s metal frame was bent.

What followed was extensive and unproductive communication with store staff, the returns team, and customer solutions. I spent hours on the phone and in the store, yet no manager was ever available and hold times were consistently 20–30 minutes.

Overall, the store demonstrated poor service and an inability to provide a resolution.
