I really hate to take away stars because so much of the night was GREAT, but the way things ended left a very nasty taste in my mouth and my friends’ mouths.
We went after dinner at Provare and overall the vibe was amazing. The DJ was spectacular, nonstop R&B, we were jamming all night and even talked about coming back on Saturdays. The bartender was polite and poured strong, good drinks. We also had hookah and the staff handling that were cool and easy to deal with.
Sierra was wonderful, she welcomed us in and checked on us throughout the night even though we weren’t in her section, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, we barely saw our actual waiter until the very end of the night.
Now for the issue.
At one point, my friend noticed money on the floor near a section. A cleanup worker was eyeing it, so I told my friend to do the right thing and ask the section if someone had dropped money. A guy responded and said it belonged to a bottle girl and told her she could place it on the table. This was 35–40 minutes after we first noticed it sitting there untouched.
As we were walking out while the club was closing, the bottle girl ran up saying it was $200 rolled up and basically accused my friend of taking some of it, while also saying she “wasn’t accusing her.” That contradiction alone was wild.
First of all, ROLL THEM CAMERAS BACK!!
Second, if any money was missing, it absolutely could’ve been taken by the people sitting in that section
Third, we were trying to do the RIGHT thing by returning everything , so why would we return anything at all if we planned to take it?
Yeah - find somebody else to play with!
The whole interaction was disgusting and completely unnecessary. If you’re carrying cash while working, secure it better (don’t wear tights & a dress that’s not even covering your behind). Don’t misplace money and then accuse guests who were genuinely trying to help.
That situation alone took the night from amazing to shocking.
That said, the music and overall vibe were so good that we will be back, but if that same staff member happens to be our server, we’ll politely decline her service. We’d rather spend our money with someone who actually deserves it.
There was no need to steal, no need to accuse, and no need for that level of audacity.
