General Contractor reviews in Katy, Texas

We couldn’t be happier with the experience we had with UpLift. From start to finish, they were incredibly easy to work with—communicative, flexible, and genuinely committed to bringing our vision to life.

A special shoutout to Bart, who was outstanding throughout the entire process. He was attentive, responsive, and clearly takes pride in his work. Bart made sure every detail was handled and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly.

One thing that really stood out was how well the team coordinated with the other trades involved in our pool remodel. They were proactive in planning their work to avoid any issues, like sawdust or debris interfering with other parts of the project. That level of professionalism and attention to detail made a big difference.

Even better, the project was completed on time and came in under budget—something you don’t hear often with home improvements. The end result is truly our dream patio, and it has transformed how we enjoy our outdoor space.

If you’re considering a patio project, we highly recommend UpLift—and be sure to ask for Bart. They delivered exactly what they promised—and more.

Great work, thanks much Jason and team!

Fantastic job with our extended patio. Matches perfectly with the existing design. Thank you Jason!

This company has everything! Great value, quality and great people to work with... we are so impressed to find such great people!!! If you want to work with the best please choose UPLIFT OUTDOOR!

Thanks you so much for our wonderful patio! The additional cover has given us plenty of shade and a much better place to entertain. Excellent work and fast!

Thank you to UpLift Outdoor Fort Bend for fast and efficient work! I love our new driveway extension and sidewalk! It looks great!! I highly recommend Uplift Outdoor Fort Bend!!

Jason is our contact and he has been great, and courteous. Can not say enough for the quality of work. Highly recommend.

We are very happy and satisfied with our concrete patio. Jason was very responsive and professional. Their team was very efficient and finished the job in 8 hours.

We wanted to remove our concrete builder walk way with brick we bought from the builder. They gave us options, they completed it in one day, and it is better than we could have thought of. Bart is super communicative, leaving little worry about the outcome.

We used Jason with UpLift for our patio extension and pergola. They did an incredible job and were always very responsive with follow up. I highly recommend Jason , the owner , and UpLift !!!!

Uplift and Jason extended my patio, put in a pergola and enhanced my landscaping. Jason was a pleasure to work with. He took our vision and made it much better. Thank you for everything.

When great contractors are hard to come by, it was a breath of fresh air finding Uplift. Bart was honest and super responsive in helping me achieve the project I had in mind. If you're looking for great quality and value, I highly recommend Uplift!

Great job by Jason and his construction team. They were on time and kept a very clean work area during and after work. Jason was very informative and upfront with the quote and recommendations. I would use them again on future projects.

I would not recommend this company if you expect any type of customer service. I was satisfied with the end result which was two slabs poured but the lack of professionalism on the part of this company and the sub contractor was horrible. I had to reach out if I wanted an update. If you choose to use this company please make sure they provide you with all of the details the job will entail. The contractor pouring the slab used my tools to do part of their job without permission. They also used my water (soft water) to wash down the street where the cement truck made a mess. I picked up a wheelbarrow full of clay, dirt and rocks that they pushed up against the slabs and had to call them to come pick it up. They even tried to put it in my trash can and I had tell them to remove it from my trash can. They will get the job done but you definitely will know they were there.

They replaced our fences and trimmed a several large oak trees. The crew is wonderful and did a fabulous job installing our new fence and making our trees look beautiful. They also did an amazing job cleaning up the job site when they were done. We'll gladly give them our business in the future.

Jason and his crew did a wonderful job on our outdoor kitchen.
Jason was very patient and accommodating on any changes we made along the way.
Uplift Outdoor made our dream kitchen come to life. Laissez les Bon Temps Rouler

Me and my wife love this company! We have now worked with them on 3 different projects and every time has exceeded our expectations. They took a basic idea and created a covered patio that is better than most nice restaurants patios! If you need any work done I highly suggest giving them a call and asking for Jason Ratliff to help you. He will take any project that you can think of and make it happen!

The backyard of my dreams is coming true!! Now to plant my veggies and fruit trees. The whole landscape will be edible. Giant chess pieces will go on the checkerboard because the grandkids love to play it! Lots of outdoor games and fun. Easy to walk on and very low maintenance. So happy! Feeling very grateful for our neighbor Jason Ratliff and the Uplift Outdoor team! They are incredible and worked so hard to make this dream a reality. They went above and beyond. They were kind, courteous and the cleanest team I’ve ever seen! Thank you guys!!

Uplift Outdoor completed two projects for us thus far: patio extension and french drains. We are satisfied about the results of each one. The team is professional and responsive to any questions we had about the projects. We are also planning to work with them again soon to build our pergolas. Highly recommended to anyone needing outdoor renovation/upgrade.

I cannot recommend this company enough. I worked with Jason and nothing could have been better. He was a pleasure to work with and I knew I could trust him and that they would do an awesome job. I had gotten many quotes from companies and these guys were the Goldilocks on price, responsiveness, friendliness and quality. I was impressed with their Facebook page as I could see the quality of their work and it made it easy to get in touch with them (this was lacking with many others). The crew did an amazing job and was fast at that. They also helped me spread all the dirt they were digging out around the yard so they went above and beyond. I am very impressed and happy with how it all came out. I will certainly be referring them to others and will go straight to them in the future for anything they can help me with.
