Tree reviews in Kennedale, Texas

I highly recommend AJ Tree Service! Jimmy and crew are professional with great communication. They strive to ensure the customer is satisfied. Will definitely use again!

My fiance and I were surprised at how professional the guy was. We will be using his services once we pay off another project that surprised us. He gave us a quote along with a discount for new customers and the link he sent went to a site that give you an option to finance.

Can’t say enough good things about Jimmy and his crew. They arrived just when they said they would and took all the trimmings with them. I had numerous trees that hadn’t been done for years. He also gives a discount to first time users, military and senior citizens.

These guys did a wonderful job, they were very safe and efficient. Not only did the completed job look great, the cost of service was the best I found hands down. I highly recommend their services to anyone needing tree services!

We lost an Ash Tree in the winter storm. We also had some branches that needed lifting/to be cut off our neighbor's property. The guys got here early, were well mannered and very professional. They didn't even mind cutting a few slices of the tree so I could make a memorial project.

If you're looking for someone who is safe, quick and precise AJ's Tree Service is the place to look for!

We have had Jimmy do tree work for us and our parents. He has done a great job every time. Highly recommend him for all you tree trimming, storm damage clean up and removal needs.

You guys did a great job on my aunts yard on 5/31/2025. You removed 2 big old trees from her backyard, and placed new grass on those spots.

AJ's did an excellent job at a great value. Removed dead bushes, scrub trees and wild grapevines. Professional, easy to work with and great communication.

I called for a quote and they came out the very next day. I am so glad that I went with them. They were very professional about what needed to be done. I had three pecan trees removed and also the stumps grinded. When I came home from work the trees were gone and everything was picked up nice and neatly. The leaves were hauled away. I cannot be happier that I went with them in fact they will definitely be the ones that I call in the future when I need trees removed or even trimmed. I Highly recommend them to anyone who needs trees removed.

Got three quotes from three companies. AJ was the first to reach out to me following my inquiry, the first to come out to give me a quote, and the cheapest quote of the three. Jimmy responded to texts quickly, sent an electronic quote and copy of his insurance to me, got me on the schedule quickly, showed up when he said he would, and did a great job! Will definitely use them again!

Jimmy did a great job! He was here quick and in super cold weather. Did a great job trimming a way overgrown tree. Friendly service, reasonable price, will use again.

Jimmy is a true professional. We have a TON of treed on our property. He has maintained them brilliantly so that they a beautiful and healthy...but off of our roof. Reasonable, dependable and I highly recommend. The absolute best in the area!

Jimmy and his crew arrived each day early and worked hard all day to get the job done. It was a huge mess due to it is my grandparents old house and when they passed I inherited a yard that had not been touched in a good 15 years! Jimmy and his crew made my yard look like it was a new cultivated, manicured yard! My yard now looks so inviting and enjoyable to use and sit out in. Jimmy did front back and side yards and they are Beautiful! Thank You again Jimmy!

We used These guys to cut down some branches and limbs.
They gave us a quote to do all limbs 6 ft from the home and garage. They told us 4-5 hours. They got here after 10am and was done before noon. They took down 2 limbs and some brush. My mini truck could have fit all the stuff. They never did anything over garage and not sure they were even able to reach it.
We were charged $835.
I did have quote and did agree to this. Being that said they did not do hardly anything. I wish I had a job where I could make $700 an hour.
I have pics of trailer that shows how much they took out.
Very pleasant people and not hating. I just think they over charged lots for the work they did.

Our trees are now off the house and they look amazing! I can’t say enough good things about Jimmy and AJs trees service. He showed up 10 minutes before he said he would be there which says a lot about the person he is, got with my wife and I and went over what we wanted again before he started cutting and trimming, just to make sure everyone was on the same page. He would finish one tree, come ask us what we thought and if we liked it, and when we were happy with it he cleaned up all the limbs and debris before starting the next one. He is very knowledgeable on trees and how to trim and clean them up and what’s best for the health of the tree. Very professional and courteous in every aspect. From the first phone call, coming out to quote the job, to the time it was all complete and he was driving away, nothing but courtesy and honesty. I will definitely be using AJs tree service again as well as recommending them to friends, family and anyone else that need tree work.

We highly recommend AJ Tree Service for the excellent job they provided in trimming our trees. They provided a very reasonable quote for the work, very knowledgeable in explaining their recommendation, showed up and completed the work as promised. Very friendly and professional.

AJ Tree Service did an amazing job! Friendly service, reasonable price. They cleaned everything perfectly. We are going to use them in the future! 100 % recommend thank you for doing such a great job!

AJ and his team were great. The trimming and clean up was excellent. Jimmy really cares about the health of the trees and also what would look good and be beneficial for the plants and the homeowner.

We had some very neglected hackberry trees behind two sheds in our backyard that had grown to involve power lines affecting us and our neighbors pole to house lines. The trees provided no benefit to our property and were actually interfering with our wooden fence access. Also, our neighbors on either side of us have beautiful oaks that needed their canopies raised over our property. Not only was I able to reach the owner Jimmy Burns almost immediately on the phone, but he was able to come the very next day ~ a Sunday no less! ~ and was informative and helpful in deciding the best plan for our scope of work. I got an itemized quote quickly that was beyond reasonable. His crew arrived 3 days later on time and fully prepared. They completed bringing BOTH hackberry trees down, trimming everything agreed to, and hauling away every ounce of debris expertly. Jimmy answered every question we had, and was always professional. The crew did the entire job in under 6 hours and were quieter than I could have imagined. So refreshing to find such an honest, highly skilled polite business owner at such a great rate! We'll never use another tree service as long as AJ Tree Service is available.

Jimmy was such a pleasure to work with. He came out the same day I called and gave me a reasonable estimate to trim and shape a tree that was damaged during the cold winter storm. The next day he came right out on time and completed the job in about an hour. Hard worker and very professional. We will definitely use his services again. And I love that he is local.

AJ runs a good crew of men. Prompt service at very competitive prices. I was pleased with his service.
