Bloomfield Team in Lavon Texas has been helpful and great through the process of building my 1st home. After my home was completed in 2022, the team was very responsive to warranty items which was great help for me. Thank you to the Bloomfield team in Lavon.

Our home buying experience with Bloomfield has been the worst customer service experience of our lives.
We were informed, mid covid (August 2020), that we would be closing 4-6 months after signing, that was not the case. We ended up closing almost 12 months after signing. The only time we got information of possible delays on our closing date were when we reached out to Jason, and his forecasts were always months off from the truth.
Keith clearly lacks any customer service experience and has very little organization skills. Keith waited until the day before we were supposed to close to order our survey or let our appraiser into the house, despite our appraiser attempting for over a month. Obviously this led to more last minute delays which affected us tremendously as we had taken off from work and scheduled deliveries/movers.
After finding this out, we sent a buisness appropriate email to Keith expressing our dissatisfaction.
Keith then purposefully ignored our emails and we only received a response when we happened to run into him at our residence. Keith advised us he did not respond to our Emails because they were "hostile."
We're still trying to get a plethora of things, that Keith said he would handle prior to us moving in, fixed- such as our shower drain being higher than the shower floor.
I could not fit into one review the issues and headaches that we've experienced over the past year.
I could not, in good faith, recommend Bloomfield home to any family or friends in the future

We love our new home. We've been in our home for 4 months now and haven't had any problems. There were some small craftsmanship issues on the part of a few of the subcontractors but bloomfield was eager to remedy everything in a timely manner. There were several setbacks like the ones mentioned in other reviews. All of them were attributed to supply chain issues outside the control of bloomfield, not to mention we signed our contract during the craziest buying frenzy in my lifetime. Builders and contractors were stretched thin trying to keep up with the demand. I believe they did all they could to get us into our home as quickly as possible....literally the day after the appliances were installed.

They built our house in Lavon, and the house is fine (very mass suburbia), but there are houses next to us being built and the builders are extremely unprofessional. They will randomly play loud music in the morning and afternoon from their car, and I messaged Bloomfield multiple times about this. They said they would look into it, but they clearly haven't since their builders are still playing loud music. It shouldn't be hard to enforce rules on your employees, but it's clear they care more about building houses with cheap labor than quality service. This makes me worried about whether they will help with a more serious issue. I wish I had gone with another home building service.

We loved our Bloomfield home at first. The niches, craftsmanship all seemed so elevated. Then, 2 years in our home was falling apart from extremely bad foundation issues. Yes, they did the repairs but now our home has no resale value. No one wants to buy a pre-existing home that has had so many problems so unless it’s your forever home, GET OUT! We’ve been literally stuck and can’t sell even with warranties. Nightmare.

Make sure you save $500-600 for a new dishwasher if you buy home from Bloomfield. They don’t dry and you will end up throwing away a lot of dishes because of mold if you don’t get them out and dry them as soon as the dishwasher finishes. They won’t do anything about it because “it’s functioning as it was built.” So basically it was built not to dry. Kind of ridiculous when you spend $500k+ for a new house and the dishwasher doesn’t work.
(Just fyi…we like everything else about the house)

Bloomfield has taken much of the stress out of our home building experience! We looked at no less than 5 builders in the area and Bloomfield was the clear choice with floor plans and upgrades available. They do their best to make sure your home is perfect during the build stage and will go out of their way to make sure everything is up to your liking. Cannot recommend enough!
