James made the trip out to my ranch to diagnose and repair my electrical issue and restore power. He came out same day, gave me a bid that afternoon, and returned the following morning to do the repair. He was very professional and kind and absolutely someone I highly recommend. Thank you James and Shirley Electric!!

Jim is the nicest electrician I've ever dealt with. Showed up on time and was completely professional. He's honest and genuinely cares about his clients. Could not possibly have had a better experience.

I had them install a whole-house surge protector. James was very good. He had to do quite a bit of extra work after he gave me a quote and he added only the cost of extra parts. Did lots of extra, unrelated service for us while he was here. He was great to work with. Professional, friendly, and excellent at his craft. (I got the surge protector for lightning protections, but it has already made a difference -- my power load is much smoother now. No blinking lights when the A/C starts up, for instance.)

Called with an electrical problem. Got Master Electrician to arrive within a few hours. James was outstanding, knowledgeable and explained my issue. Price was more than reasonable. I would recommend Shirley Electrical out of Lockhart Texas to everyone.

Mr. Bliss was a big help finding the problem we were having with our power supply. I had 2 other Electric outfits look at the same problem. Mr. Bliss found an issue no other outfit found. Although the job didn't work out, James was very knowledgeable, informative, and amiable on what I needed to do to get the necessary licensing and permitting before he's able to start the job. I'll certainly utilize Shirley Electric when I am fully prepared to do so.

James showed up and did an amazing job. He took the time to make sure that we understood what he was doing. He was honest and clearly admitted that my 80+ year old house had him stumped for a minute. He figured out how to fix the problem safely and made sure that we understood how the house is wired. I'd gladly pay the price I did for such complete service.

One of the breakers tripped in my house and we couldn't figure out why it wouldn't turn back on. After doing some troubleshooting, I called Shirley Electric and James was out at my house the next day. He was able to figure out the issue, which ended up being very difficult to pinpoint.

James was extremely helpful, courteous, professional and all while my crazy little dog (who barks at everyone) wouldn't leave him alone lol. Shirley Electric Company did a great job for me. I lost electricity in two rooms in the middle of the afternoon. James came and fix the problem before 5 o’clock. He was nice, professional, personable, and did a great job. I recommend them for any electrical need.

Words cannot express enough how well Jim installed a new electrical panel for me. He's very professional, very helpful and went out of his way to help me on several occasions to with a few other things that he is very knowledgeable about. I'm a recent 75+ year old widow and needed help with some overhead lights, fans, switches and outlets. I was very concerned with an electrical fire starting somewhere. After reading the reviews on Shirley Electric Co. I knew I had to call them and the next morning the electrician, Mr. James Bliss was at my door. He listened to all my concerns and did an inspection of my electrical panel and proceeded from room to room. He explained problems he found and fixed it. It's such a relief to know that everything is in good working condition now. Shirley Electric Co. provided excellent service with an outstanding electrician, thank you Mr. James Bliss! I recently needed a good electrician to come to my house on short notice. The morning after my initial call, James, the owner, arrived at my house. He was able to fix the problem in a few miniutes and also educated me along the way. He assisted in looking at a few other potential issues inside the house and gave his suggestions on how to fix them. I fully recommend anyone else using their service. James is a solid dude and definitely knows his stuff.
