I live in Lockhart, Texas. There was an accident involving a food delivery truck in front of my house which pulled the electrical wires off my house. Not only was James first on the scene with the first responders, he knew someone would need electrical help immediately. He gave his card to the fireman, the fireman then gave it to me. Later that morning, I called James and he was back at my house within 30 minutes to repair the damage. James was kind, professional and very knowledgable during a very stressful situation. I highly recommend Shirley Electric!

James was absolutely great. Another local electrician did a shotty job on my hot tub hook up and James came to the rescue. He will definitely be on my radar for future electrical needs!

When our meter loop was ripped off the house, James B. of Shirley Electric got out to our house within hours. He got the meter loop restored and waited for the electric company to restore power. He made sure everything was the way it should be before he left. He was friendly and informative. We really liked his work, and will call Shirley Electric any time we may have another problem.

I received same day superlative service from Shirley Electric. The scheduling service was prompt, courteous and seamless, and I had an immediate text confirmation of my appointment followed shortly thereafter by a phone call from Master Electrician, Jim. He is very kind and expressed empathy for my situation, and upon his arrival got right to work investigating my problem and educating me every step of the way. He is a seasoned master, and was able to spot details and other problems at a glance, and he fixed the hazard I knew about plus 2 others that I didn't know about. I had braced myself for horror story pricing (having been married to a serviceman who would NEVER hire another serviceman, out of pride) and you know what? It wasn't horrible at all! It was completely attainable, and well worth the fee. If you or your spouse👀 has been hesitant to hire a pro because of the expense, just call Jim anyway and see what he says. Seriously, I've spent more on Temu and benefitted less. 🤭

Jim has been doing excellent work for years. I needed an outlet installed for my welding machine so I called for an estimate and he was out the same day. Plug installed and ready for use the same day I called. Fantastic.

I contacted Shirley to help install new light fixtures for my home. Jim was professional and so helpful! He gave me good insight on the positioning of the lighting. Would definitely recommend Shirley for your electrical needs.

We had a great experience with these folks! After a power failure overnight in our recently purchased old home, with the outside temp rapidly headed to 104+, I was panicked about getting good help and fast. I posted on a local community page for recommendations and one of their techs, James, suggested I try Shirley Electric. I gave them a call as soon as they opened & they fit me in (on a Friday!) at 11. James was actually able to arrive even earlier at 10. He was courteous, professional, and very easy going about me hovering and asking many, many questions. (If I'm going to be a knowledgeable homeowner, I want to know the nitty-gritty details!) I appreciate how straightforward he was about what *had* to be fixed now, and what could wait and for how long. He gave me a number of helpful tips for things to prepare for considering the age of our electrical systems. Our power was back after some quick diagnosis and repair of our breaker conduit. Even with the need to call in the city for the transformer end of things, James made everything happen quickly, while still keeping me informed. Shirley Electric has my business when we're ready for the next stage of fixing up the electrical at this old house!

Mid-March 2024 was my first time to hire Shirley Electric. I'm very glad I did. James is great to work with. He's punctual, he's great with follow-up, he comes in and gets the work done. He's very friendly, but he's there to work and not to chit-chat. I've scheduled him again for June.

James was very professional and explained everything to me. He was able to install the surge protector same day. Explained all the warranties. Would highly recommend him and Shirley Electric Company to anyone in the area.

We had an issue with our breaker tripping constantly. I called several places with no call back except for Shirley Electric. They got back to us in a timely manner and set up an appointment that same call. We really appreciated the level of knowledge, patience and professionalism of our electrician who was sent to us. James is the best and will definitely ask for him in the future.

I called Mr Bliss to deal with an issue I was having with my service panel. He came over promptly and quickly identified the problem and thoroughly explained what he would have to do to fix it. When he came to work on the issue a day later, he showed up exactly when he said he would and completed the job in the time frame he initially estimated. He also has a good working relationship with the City, so when it was time to have power restored it was taken care of promptly. Would highly recommend.

James was AWESOME! He explained everything and kept me informed during the entire process. He also alerted me to something that could potentially be an issue in the future, which I really appreciated. Had Shirley Electric come out to my store Pizza Hut in Luling for an emergent situation regarding our oven & replacement of outlets. Service was relatively fast, efficient with great customer service.

Shirley Electric did a great job for us at a rental property. The tenant had an issue and I called for service. The scheduling was easy and they showed up on time and took care of the issue. It was an easy process and will use Shirley Electric again in the future.
