Kamran with Star Lighting was excellent! He did such a great job replacing our ceiling fan in our bedroom! Very friendly and knowledgeable and did a fantastic job!

Karman is very professional electrician. He first came out to give estimates on security camera and doorbell installation. He was most reasonably priced amongst quotes I received and decided to go with him. He came on time as promised and finished install with quality without cutting corners and following electrical building codes. I highly recommend him for any electrical and lighting installs.

I’m not sure why this did not work out for us but I am sharing my experience so others can possibly benefit from it.

Kamran gave me a quote to replace two light fixtures in my home. When he arrived and got all his ladders all set up, he then told me that it would be an additional $50 for him to remove the old lights. I had sent him photos of our home and the fixtures that were currently in place and also sent him photos of the new lights to be replaced and he NEVER mentioned a cost to take the old lights down which was why I was so surprised and asked him why he hadn’t told me that when he sent me the quote. He said he usually does but hadn’t which I didn’t feel was my wrong on my part to be surprised.

I asked him if he would install a dimmer switch which I had already purchased and he said yes he would for the additional $30 which was fair as I had not mentioned it previously.

He did ask me if I wanted both the lights at the same height as they previous lights had been and I said I did. When I saw the dining room table light installed I did ask him if we could lower it a little bit since it was a totally new fixture and it looked like it needed to come down a few links. He said he would but he would charge me extra even though he was standing right there and had just hung it up. I understand I did change my mind on the height but that seems part of the job to adjust to your customer liking when installing a new light fixture. I declined as I was so frustrated at this point and decided if I had to pay him to lower it I might as well pay someone else to do it (admittedly also on principal of not wanting to have to repay someone whom I had just paid to install the light to make an adjustment!).

When he left, my house was a mess and he looked at it and said “sorry about the mess”. He told me he could not take away any of the old lights, which is fine, but left them sitting there with all the boxes and garbage on my floor then watched me carry them out by myself. I asked him if he would help me move the dining room table back in place he said he doesn’t really like to touch customers items but he will this time. I said it’s okay I’ll wait for my husband to come home.

My new lights were installed properly and evenly and they work great.

Decide for yourself if you want to use him just relaying my experiences as I hired him based on all the positive reviews.

I would just like to include in his response that he did quote me to uninstall the item. After I posted this review, I went back on our text and I did see that he quoted me to uninstall it. I’ll attach a photo. And in fact, he did not offer to clean up any of it and watched me while I did it. Again, everybody should make their own decisions, but his interpretation is very different than mine of quality of workmanship and wanting a customer to be happy and not just making money on a job.

I can't say enough about Kamran, our go-to electrician for the last three years. Kamran is a true professional - knowledgeable, honest and reasonably priced. His work is consistently exceptional, he has completed several projects for us that have left us thoroughly impressed, from installing security cameras and lights to adding multiple outdoor outlets, including a 220v outlet.
He recently installed permanent Christmas lights on our house, our neighbors can't stop raving about how awesome it looks, and we get compliments almost every day.
If you want a knowledgeable, reliable, and fairly priced electrician, Kamran is the one to call.

Kamran did an outstanding job installing two chandeliers in my home, and they look absolutely beautiful. Despite the chandeliers requiring extensive manual adjustments due to manufacturer design issues, he worked tirelessly and handled every detail with great care. Although the project took a few hours longer than expected, Kamran stayed committed and completed everything exactly as planned. His professionalism, skill, and positive attitude made the entire experience seamless. I would not hesitate to hire him again—thank you, Kamran, for your excellent work and wonderful personality!

Kamran was incredible. Had him install a Tesla Home Wall Charger and couldn’t be happier. He was very professional, his craftsmanship was top tier, and he cleaned up the work area when he finished. When he was leaving I asked him a question about our ring doorbell and he helped fix someone else’s poor install. Will definitely be having him do more work for us in the very near future!!

I had an excellent experience with Kamron . He fixed the electrical issues in my home quickly and professionally, and the price was very fair. He was knowledgeable, respectful, and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. It’s hard to find someone this reliable with such good pricing.
