James did and amazing job in putting together a Playscape for our children. The quality of the work was fantastic and timely and for a very reasonable price. James and his crew have done many jobs professionally, timely and for a good price at my home. Aboveboard Handyman Services is my first choice for all of my handyman projects. They have installed several floors in my home, several ceiling fans installed, leaking roof repaired and the wall leaked on repaired, a tree fell during a storm and Jame hauled it away and repaired the fence and later when the fence needed replacement I called Aboveboard again. James and his crew are knowledgeable, hard working and professional. The prices are fair and reasonable. Thank you James and crew for all of your hard work! I will be calling again in the near future...

Aboveboard Handyman Services is a great partner when it comes to most all household projects. James is wonderful to work with and his quality of work is in his details. He is very responsive and make things happen. I had several projects from gutters to window replacement, property fence work to ceiling racks in garage, garage doors, pergola and paint job and all is completed to my satisfaction. There were slight hiccups during the course of the project but nothing major and he stepped up to make it right for me. I sure would recommend James - Aboveboard Handyman Services for your household projects.

We hired James to install new cabinet hardware for my parents' home. He took his time and attached them perfectly. It was a large job and he had it squared away by late afternoon. They are very pleased and told me they plan to use him in the future for various projects around their home. I highly recommend!

I hired James to do repairs for my rental property after a tenant moved out. From start to finish, no matter what kind of repair I requested such as leak under kitchen sink, hole in the gameroom wall, water damaged bathroom vanity, he did an excellent job that exceeded my expectation. With his reliable, neat, and high quality work, I will definitely use his service in the future and recommend him to anyone who needs handyman service.

Great experience working w/ James and team. Professional, timely, great value and smooth delivery and coordination with subcontractors on the job. James and team built out a mud room extension for us, and facilitated the full work including walls / structure / dry wall / painting / tile work / doors etc down to the last detail. We're v. pleased w/ the work and plan to work w/ James and team again for our other remodeling work around our home. Great work!

James and his team went above and beyond for our kitchen remodel. He was quick to come over when we found a kitchen leak, remedied the leak, worked with insurance to get all of the work covered, and coordinated all parts of the remodel in a tight turnaround to sell our house. I will use him again for future work and recommend him to friends and family.

James is detailed and timely. His work and word are superb! He built our Barbeque Gazebo.

James has been a lifesaver! He had done several repairs and jobs for us and saved me from having to climb a ladder and get on the roof. We will always call him first when we need something done!

I found James through Google and he was very flexible and accommodating in finding time in his schedule to come out to my house to complete the work I requested. I had a variety of things I needed taken care of such as installation of hardware on cabinets, repairing cracks in walls, fixing doors that wouldn't latch, and adjusting a door that wouldn't open easily. James was knowledgeable in all the things I requested, professional, and very efficient. He was also kind, courteous, and had a great attitude. The last handyman I hired didn't clean up after himself at all and would leave stuff all over the floor that I would have the vacuum up later and never laid anything down when painting, resulting in paint splattered on my hardwood floors. I was incredibly appreciative when James took the time to clean up after himself and vacuum every area he worked in and lay down towels when he was painting. James was also able to advise us on some issues we had in the backyard, and when he wasn't sure on a plumbing issue with one of our bathtubs, he agreed to dig into it further with his plumber. My husband and I were thrilled with the quality of service and all the work completed, and we will definitely work with James again and would 100% recommend him to anyone needing handyman services. Hired James and his crew of pros to provide all my renovations after an extensive water leak that ruined walls, ceiling, baseboards, and flooring. James handled everything, including working with my insurance company to ensure that everything that needed doing was accounted for. James worked with my schedule (respected my time), gave me a fair estimate based on my needs, and before I knew it, the work was done! Often times contractors inflate their pricing, take several breaks and rationalize why they had to surpass their estimated time. James worked the entire time and focused on staying as close as possible to his quoted time frame. He also asked my opinion on certain tasks to ensure we were aligned all the way through while he worked on specific projects. Another thing I’d like to mention is I work from home during the day, while my husband is at work...quite honestly it’s tough to gauge who should/should not be in your home. James made me feel comfortable the entire time he was in my space. His professional and kind demeanor truly resonated with me! With that said, I LOVE the work he did for us. We will definitely work with Aboveboard Handyman Services again!

I am super pleased with James and his painters. James responded quickly to our inquiry regarding paint throughout our house, met with us immediately and started the project with a few days of that meeting. He was professional but personable and checked in on our job throughout to make sure we were pleased with the work and that it was being done correctly. We will not hesitate to call him again!
