I was looking for a local electrician. Someone trustworthy and someone with ties to our community. I'm so tired of being treated like a dollar sign instead of a person. I was very pleased with how quickly Jay's electric responded to my inquiry, and how easy it was to work with them.

Highly recommend these guys, Jonathan and Isaac were great. I had a bunch of miscellaneous electrical work that needed to be done at a home I just purchased and they were able to handle it all. The biggest challenge we faced was getting a Samsung Frame TV (the ones that look like a painting) power on a stand alone brick fireplace and keep it looking nice. I can't get over how great it turned out, yes that's a TV and not a painting in my picture!

James and his team of people have completed a variety of projects in our home including door knob replacement, picture & mirror hanging (large & small), shelf installations, ceiling fan installation, wallpapering and more. They are always on time, thorough, professional, and pleasant to have around. Each time they have someone out they have provided very good communication and expectations. I would highly recommend using them.

Excellent service. Super friendly as well. I asked for my disposal to be replaced and the first thing he tried was to see if it was really needed. We did have to replace it but seeing the real effort he made to try not to replace was a game changer. He was super professional the whole time. Highly recommend them.

Kelly the plumber was absolutely amazing. He was very polite and answered all my questions. He even went above and beyond helping me locate and dig up my irrigation cover! What a guy. As far as our pressure test he was instrumental in getting our gas turned back on quickly. Could not ask for better service. I developed mold in the boot of my washing machine and I was afraid to continue to use it for my family and needed to get it replaced. I called a few places and received quotes and decided to go with Texas True Appliance Repair as they offered the best quote. Colton called me to let me know that he was on his way but also to let me know that the quote that was provided to me was only for the part. Well I had already canceled the previous company and I had set aside the amount that that company had quoted and the quote for this company was lower so I didn't budget for more. Long story short I expressed to Colton that I believe the price should be honored and he explained that with that quote he wouldn't get paid for the labor but he offered to cut the labor cost to make things right since I had received an incorrect quote and we agreed on that amount. Colton arrived and was extremely polite and very apologetic. He fixed my washer and ensured that everything was working, back in place, and the area was clean prior to him leaving. Colton did an amazingly thorough job but his customer service, honesty, transparency, and understanding was unmatched and I would definitely use him again for any of my appliance repair needs. Thank you Colton for making things right and repairing my washing machine within my budget 🙏🏽

We have used Above the Board for a few home improvements that we just simply couldn't have completed ourselves. James was excellent in communicating with us very quickly, he kept us well informed and the pricing was reasonable. We were impressed with his crew. I worked with Greg over the phone and he was wonderful and knowledgeable. They were able to send Kelly out quickly, given our issue. Kelly found our problem (a leak under our rock garden), fixed it quickly and efficiently, and charged us a very reasonable price! We can't thank you guys enough for working outside in this heat to help us stop that leak and how kindly/thoroughly each problem and solution was explained to us. these guys are great. Just had them out to fix an issue with our wiring and then had them back to install some bathroom fans and GFCI outlets. Our electrician, Jason, was super nice and explained everything he was going. Highly recommend them for services.

I’ve had a couple of great experiences with Aboveboard Home Services. One job was painting our kitchen cabinets, and the other was an exhaust fan install in our laundry room. Both times the results were great. Communication with James has always been clear from start to finish, the pricing was fair, and the exhaust fan was installed quickly with good quality work. Will definitely use them again.
