Brandon was not only a professional but an honest business owner who prides himself with giving you the information straightforward on what you’ll need to get done to repair, upgrade, or start any irrigation project you’re in need. Owens Irrigation is now my “I know a guy” for any irritation needs.

I had an irrigation pipe break at one of the valves that controls one of the sprinkler zones. I called Mr. Owens and told him about the issue. My biggest concern was that I wouldn't be able to water my lawn for a long period of time. With the drought that we are currently experiencing in North Texas (2022), this would likely lead to me losing my lawn. Mr. Owens had a technician at my house within 24 hours. I showed the technician the issue and he had all of the materials and tools needed to repair the pipe on the spot. He even took his time resetting the irrigation box flush with the lawn just as I had it before. I am extremely pleased with the service and highly recommend Owens Irrigation. I will certainly use them again for any future irrigation needs.

Ratings & reviews are nice but misleading. I wish the service is up there as well. I’m flexible & understanding, if there’s valid reason to leave me hanging for days, I’d like to know at least so I don’t keep waiting and bugging with text message and emails with almost only 1 or 2 response for days.

I tried to wait when he said couple days and let the weekend pass then followed up then waited again then followed up then waited again. I would have wanted to work with them because of the reviews and he sounded knowledgeable but word of honor is also big for me, it’s a sign of committment. And if you can’t make it, that is fine just say why and I’ll understand don’t just leave the customer guessing why you haven’t followed through with what you said.

I’m sorry, I just wanted to say my 2 cents here as well.

After developing a healthy fear of future foundation issues, I decided to research options for adding a foundation drip to my existing irrigation system. Brandon was very responsive, on time, and available to move as quickly as I wanted to! I appreciated his honesty, experience and professionalism. That's why I decided to invest roughly twice what some other facebook community reference quoted sight-unseen. Brandon's site survey revealed my controller (mass market builder quality) would not be able to handle my needs. I am glad I learned that up front. In any case, we discussed a quote, and two days later the work got done. Now I have a sense of security that I am proactively maintaining my foundation, and with that comes the pleasure of paying the city for all that extra water :-|. I highly recommend Owens Irrigation!

Brandon and his crew did a fabulous job on installing our surface drain and basin. Very professionally done and completed in a day. Where there was a sprinkler head messed up, he came back and fixed it right away. I highly recommend Owens Irrigation!

My main irrigation control valve started pouring into my yard and I began to freak out because I had a river flowing through my yard. Being a Saturday evening, I had little hope that someone could come take a look at it. I called Owen’s and Brandon answered. Told him the situation and he said he could be here in about an hour. He not only fixed the leak but cleaned out my irrigation control box and put some gravel underneath the valves to help prevent the valves from rusting from standing water. Brandon did an outstanding job and was friendly and personable. I will definitely be calling back for future sprinkler issues. Highly recommend!!!

New irrigation installation for 1 acre lot. 14 zones and 72 sprayers. Brandon and his team did an outstanding job with a high degree of quality and professionalism. Owens Irrigation is responsive, honest and very competitive on costs. Not only did they perform the work they bid on, they brought some more “value add” to assist on roof drainage and landscape wiring! I would highly recommend Owens Irrigation and I am very satisfied!

It's not often I find a contractor that I'm enthusiastic about, but my experience with Owens Irrigation (Brandon) was outstanding.

When our home was built (on spec), the builder didn't do anything to ensure that the drainage (from the downspouts) was routed appropriately. Our home has a courtyard in the front, and the majority of rainwater was dumped right into the courtyard, where it ran down and across our front yard. Two other downspouts drained across the front yard as well, and the results was erosion that prevented grass from growing.

I had trouble finding a contractor who specialized in this kind of work--most focus on sprinklers, gutters, or foundation work. I needed someone to bury these drain lines, including cutting the concrete in the courtyard to get the lines underground. Owens took care of all of it, including running one drain line under a sidewalk without cutting it.

All of the work was done professionally, and there was no uncharge for unexpected problems, like the concrete being much thicker than expected, requiring jackhammering to get through it all. Brandon listened to what I want, and didn't try to talk me into shortcuts or options I wasn't interested in. It was an excellent experience, and Brandon offered expertise in other areas (like sod) as well.

The guy is VERY busy. I'd suggest being patient, it's worth it. Great work at a fair price.

Shout out to Brandon and his team. We have been using them for about 4 years now. We thought we had foundation issues only to discover that what we had was a drainage issue because of the slope of our back yard. I got bids and Owens Irrigation was significantly lower than the others. The system has worked great the last two years. He installed a complete new sprinkler system for one of our sons and upgraded equipment for another son. He also has replaced and adjusted sprinkler heads for us. And now? Well, I found out he can upgrade our equipment to one we can control settings through an app on our phone!! So I have an order in for that. THAT is going to save us money on our water bill I'm sure. I can highly recommend Owens Irrigation.

I'll start by saying, I'm so glad I didn't try installing my lawn sprinklers myself. I'm handy, but this is something to leave to the professionals. I got 3 bids from Owen's and two competitors before pulling the trigger on this project. Owen's was the least expensive AND the contractor I had the most confidence in, based on their job history and references. I'm glad I went with my gut! When I called them to approve and schedule the work, they had an opening just days later and they penciled me in. The crew arrived promptly the morning of install and we walked the yard to make sure I was comfortable with the placement of the valves. I asked how long the job would take and they told me 1 day. I didn't believe them so I asked again a couple hours later and they said they'd be done that day. I couldn't believe how clean the yard was and how perfectly adjusted all the sprinklers were when I got home at 6pm. Brandon gave me a quick tutorial on my new system and that was it, the job was done, and I am the proud owner of a nice new sprinkler system! I should also mention that they used all Rainbird parts, and the timer has a wifi feature that allows me to adjust and turn on/off my system from anywhere with my phone. So cool! Thank you so much, Brandon and crew, for a job well done!

Brandon Owens, the owner, was so sweet and personable. He was quick to return my voicemail and set up an appointment with me. When he got here he was kind, professional, and efficient. My sprinkler system stopped working after a previous contractor did some work on my yard and turns out they did more damage than I realized. He jumped to the task and took care of me when more problems were discovered than we'd initially bargained for. His prices are incredibly fair and we will definitely be using him again, though with the work he did - I don't anticipate another irrigation issue for a while. Thanks again, Brandon. I could not recommend Brandon highly enough. In the world we live in, it has become increasingly rare to meet someone whose word is their bond. Brandon is one of these people. He did a great job under difficult circumstances. He went well beyond what was required and did it with a smile. He fixed my sprinkler system and it's better than ever now. He also installed Bermuda in my front yard. His guys tilled the soil before they did it and leveled the property. My lawn now looks incredible, better than I could have hoped. Working with Brandon was a very pleasant experience that exceeded my expectations by far.

Brandon came out the next day exactly when he said he would, did a great job of reviewing my client's system, and was enjoyable to converse with. Highly recommend!

I wanted to share the most amazing experience we recently had with one of our very own Melissa Family Owned Business, Owen’s Irrigation. As most of you know, Deague has started mowing for our community for his summer job. Recently he broke a sprinkler head that pops up to water the yard, not the easy replaceable tree bubbler. It was a job Deague could not do,yet anyway. That sprinkler was hiding so deep under the grass that he didn’t see it. Needless to say, Deague was broken hearted beyond words. Y’all I immediately googled and called the first name that popped up… this place (not owens) were less than friendly, not eager to help and were ridiculously expensive. I don’t even remember the name of the place. But I am so glad I passed on them and found Owen’s Irrigation. I had NO idea Owens was local, right here in Melissa. Then come to find out, they live in my neighborhood, Berry Farms. Y’all, they are the nicest folks. They came out immediately and literally repaired what Deague broke in a matter of minutes and taught him how to do repairs like this in the future. They didn’t even know we were neighbors either.

Y’all Owen’s Irrigation is literally a life saver, and absolutely the most kind hearted family owned business I’ve ran across in a very long time. I have to share this too….the owner, Brandon Owens was so, so sweet to Deague. He was so proud impressed with Deague’s ambition and his work ethic, that he refused to let Deague pay for the repair. He, is also a father and showed his love for my son, like he would for his own. Wow!!! That’s just so awesome! Needless to say, we were amazed and beyond grateful. I am just so so happy, so not because Mr. Owen’s saved Deague money, but because of his kindness alone! It’s people like Brandon Owen’s that make this world such a magnificent place. I’m so thankful he is not only a local resident in our community, but also our neighbor and now hopefully a friend. Deague is still over the moon about Mr. Owen’s kind gesture and this whole wonderful experience. Deague learned so much from this experience. I would encourage everyone to use Owen’s Irrigation, Support our locals and especially help out the nicest folks around.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Owens Irrigation. Brandon had time to come out the same day, and after he solved our sprinkler problem (quickly), he went ahead and fixed a couple broken sprinkler heads. He was kind, helpful, and made me feel confident that we made the right choice to call him. Businesses could learn a lot from how he treats customers. I will only use him!

When I lost my husband in late 2023, I was left with house maintenance I’d never thought about before. I accidentally found Nash and hired him. This was my lucky day. For over two years, he and his partner have done an excellent job caring for my lawn and flowerbeds. They are consistent, communicative, knowledgeable, and reliable. And so POLITE! I’m always incredibly happy with their service.
