Hardin Heating & Air, LLC

I want to give a shout out to Hardin Heating & Air and specifically to Blake. We came home from vacation to a very hot house and our usual guy wasn't available. I had little hope of finding someone to come out late on a Sunday afternoon. Google told me that Hardin was open, so I said a prayer and gave them a call. Blake was here within a couple of hours. I will admit I was skeptical when I first saw how young he was but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. He not only knew his stuff but he was also very polite. He quoted us worst case scenario and came in well under and our house is already getting cold! He earned a customer for life!

We had an older AC unit that was slowly losing Freon (leaking evaporator coil). Other companies came out and only wanted to replace the entire system. The folks from Hardin came out and presented various options. We chose to just have the system recharged periodically and we got another 5 years out of it.
This past September, the AC began freezing up again and we decided it was time to replace. Clay from Hardin Heating and Air came out gave us a quote. We scheduled an install date about a week out but the next day our AC system completely quit and the weather was HOT. I called Clay to see about moving up our install date. Within a few hours, he was at our house with some window unit AC's that made the house surprisingly comfortable.
On the day of the install, Clay and his crew showed up on time and had the job completed by that afternoon. No complaints as Clay and the entire crew were very professional and did a great job.

On a side note, we originally had AC with electric heat but per Clay's suggestion, we had a heat pump installed. Electric bills the previous winters had been in the $3-350 range. This winter, they were never over $200.

Hardin has come out twice for me. Once to track down a problem with my fan not working and again to clean out the ducts, replace vent covers and clean the dryer vent. Both times the technicians were polite, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.
