    The team did a great job. I needed a new chimney chase, which is the metal sheeting around the flue on top of the chimney. A Step Above Chimney Cleaning gave me a quote and got the work done quickly, even though they had to custom make the chase. Not only did they fix the chimney chase, but Jack also noticed that one side of my house wasn't sided properly—there was only a big piece of flashing. He used some extra siding I had and made sure everything was finished the right way, with the siding running under the chase. The service was excellent and the price was very fair.

    I recently had a wonderful experience with a chimney sweep service in Missouri City. I had used another company before to clean my chimney, but they finished the inspection and cleaning very quickly and tried to sell me an expensive flue insert. Wanting a second opinion, I had another team come out to check my chimney. Kingston spent about an hour carefully inspecting everything and found that the chimney was actually very dirty. He also explained that, because my flue was smaller than normal, a liner couldn't be installed. However, Kingston suggested putting in a heat shield inside the chimney, which would fix the problem and was also the most affordable option. On installation day, Kingston and his crew arrived on time and got straight to work. They were friendly, professional, and made sure to keep everything clean. The job took longer than expected, but they came back a few days later to finish it up and worked hard the whole time. From now on, I will only trust this chimney sweep company in Missouri City to take care of my fireplace and chimney.
