Anytime I've had to do a service call out to fix our pool or needed to go into the store the guys there have been more than knowledgable and helpful. I would recommend them for this area for sure.

We can’t be happier with how our pool turned out! John and his team were incredibly responsive and arrived on schedule. I highly recommend them, they exceeded our expectations.

I have used these guys forever. I love the fact that this is a family owned and operated business. They have great knowledge in the swimming pool industry. I would never consider going any where else:). Thanks John for all the great service over the years.

Pool Pro did a complete pool renovation for us. They partnered with an outfit called M&Z to get this done. We're really happy with the work that they did – the pool looks very good now.
-
We used Pool Pro recently to have our pool replastered, retiled and work done on our spa. John and his team were great to work with and we are so happy with the finished product. Exceeded our expectations on price and time to complete! Would highly recommend.

We've used Pool Pro for the past 3 years to service our pool weekly. Service is always prompt and courteous, and when they fall short, as happens from time to time with ALL businesses, they take ownership of the issue and make it right. Jared does an amazing job keeping our pool sparkling clean and ready for use and we couldn't be happier with his service!!

For the last 20+ years, Pool Pro & its owner John Duchek have consistently done an outstanding job of normal weekly maintenance work as well as non-routine repairs. After 20 years, it was time to update/upgrade our pool & decking. John & Pool Pro have just completed that work & we could not be more pleased with their work from start to finish - our pool & new deck are beautiful!! John patiently helped us research our options & counseled us on various alternatives for the plaster, tile, coping, & decking. Once work began, John was frequently on site making sure work was top quality & assuring that every detail was considered & handled; he is a perfectionist. Working with John was a pleasure - competent, professional, friendly, honest, & fair. Great experience & beautiful “new” pool!!

The owner John is the best and a true professional! You will not be disappointed and always shows up as promised and delivers a high quality job. Highly recommend, and there is a reason he has been around longer than everyone else in town.

Pool pro redid the plaster and tile in my pool a year ago. It was a beautiful job!!! Since then they have kept my pool sparkling clean and have tended all my pool needs with the greatest attention and care. Many many (many!!!) thumbs up.

I recently bought a small above-ground pool for my kids to cool off during the summer heat. After setting it up, I realized I needed chemicals to treat the water. Since I don’t know much about pool maintenance, I started calling a few places to get information and pricing. Unfortunately, my first few calls—including one to Leslie’s Pool—were disappointing. Instead of helpful advice, I was met with impatient and uninterested responses, leaving me frustrated.
Then I called Pool Pro in Missouri City, and the difference was night and day. The woman who answered was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain exactly what I needed and even gave me helpful tips. Despite having only a small pool for my kids, she treated me with genuine care. Later, I realized I had forgotten to ask one important question, so I tried calling again but couldn’t get through. To my surprise, just five minutes later, she called me back, apologized for missing my call, and personally answered my question while offering additional advice. That level of customer service is rare! I highly recommend Pool Pro in Missouri City. -
We couldn't be more thrilled with the work done by Pool Pro on our pool remodel. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and stress-free. The team, led by the owner John, was incredibly professional and attentive to every detail. John made sure everything was perfect, and he went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied with the final result.
The job was completed quickly and efficiently, and the team made sure to clean up after themselves, leaving our yard in great shape. It's clear that they take pride in their work, and we couldn’t be happier with how our pool turned out. If you're looking to renovate your pool, we highly recommend Pool Pro. John and his team truly deliver top-notch service! -
I had a chronic air leak that multiple technicians had looked at over the years with no lasting fix. Philip came out, put in the hours, and finally got it working good as new. Great customer service, honest work, and a reasonable price. Very happy with the results!

This company and its owner, John, as well as their receptionist Jeanne, are horrible! The owner is rude and combative and could use training in how a business owner should speak to a customer. Jeanne has no business dealing with any customers because everything turns into an argument. I have a screened in pool and I have paid this company approximately $180/month to clean my pool. There are no leaves in the pool, no landscaping around the pool, and not a whole lot to do other than check the PH level. John has a nasty attitude, is very combative, doesn't appreciate his customers, and should not be in business.

Tried to tell me my 1-year old pool pump motor was shot and that I needed a $350 replacement ,and then put that motor on my pump impeller without even consulting me first. I think this was because the owner saw me arrive in an expensive car to drop off the motor and he must have assumed that I didn't know how electric motors work (or how to rebuild them). On the phone both the owner, John, and the lady working the desk were very terse and short with me when I refused to purchase a new motor and that I wanted my old motor back.
I retrieved the old motor, contacted the motor manufacturer to find out the type of bearings used, ordered a 10-pack of them from Amazon, used my bearing puller to pull off the two old bearings, used my bearing press to press on the two new bearings.
If they had said, "Your bearings are shot, we can replace them" I probably would have had them do it. If they had said, "Your bearings are shot, we can't do it but know a place that can replace them" I would have been very happy with their honesty and character and would definitely return. If they didn't know that it was bad bearings causing the noise then they really need to close up shop because with all the motors they deal with, there's no excuse for not knowing what a bad bearing sounds like.
But that was not the case. They thought I was a rube; an easy mark. That speaks to the character of the people running the business. I won't return.
Below are the pictures of the old and new bearings, my 10-pack of bearings from Amazon (meaning I can rebuild this motor 4 more times). My pump motor runs smooth and silently again because of my efforts, not theirs..
Total time: 2 hours (taking my time)
Total cost: $24. (It would have been a lot cheaper but I got a 10-pack of bearings) -
Wow... I can not believe what a jerk (sorry to name call but I don't know how else to say it) the owner of this company is. His name is John. But, after seeing the other reviews, this guy is this way to others. I usually don't write reviews, but this guy is shockingly belligerent. I had requested a quote for two pools of houses I own, that had been well maintained up to 10 days ago. There had just been a ton of rain (the floods of May 2015). So, the pools had just turned green, hence they needed some shock. He said he needed $125 each to assess the pools and that they needed hundreds of dollars of repairs to bring them back.
I owned a pool company for 3 years and have personally serviced many many pools (when I was in my 20s), and I know how to bring back a green pool.... you throw 5-10lbs of shock in the pool and you run the filter non stop for 1-2 days and it clears up. I've turned black pools into crystal clear pools (using liquid chlorine). The whole "gotta drain the pool" in order to deal with some green water is completely bogus.
In a nice way I asked him if he could shock the pool instead of looking to drain it,etc.. and he told me to go call someone else, no one tells him how to do his job.
