Hargis Electric goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. They took care of all my electrical needs for my recently built home and I can't say enough good things about them.

I called & specifically asked for a written estimate with the visit. They said the do for a fee. The reps refused to check all of the wiring in my home, charged me the fee without leaving a written estimate. Told me it wouldn't be fair to give me a written estimate. Charging me the fee wasn't fair!

Hargis Electric always does a professional job any time we need electrical work done. They are informed on the latest technology to keep our home running efficiently!

When we built our home 10 years ago, we had a Generac home generator wired in. Recently, it stopped working, and I couldn't get it to start at all. After trying 2 other companies, with no success, I contacted Hargis Electric. Due to all the recent rains in NE TX, they would have been unable to work on the generator for about a week. James kept in touch with me by phone. Today, the rain held off, and Jason came out to fix it. During the entire time he was here, he made sure that he told me what he had found wrong, and what would take to fix it. He was very polite and very knowledgeable. He had the generator up and running again in about 3.5 hours. I highly recommend Hargis Electric!

Fast, Responsive, Professional Quality work with a great team every time!

Technician came to my home on short notice which I greatly appreciated. He flipped a breaker back on & tested the outlets connected to it & looked in the attic. After he left the breaker tripped again with nothing plugged into those associated outlets. I asked them to come back out to diagnose why the breaker continues to trip. No one came back that week. I contacted them again & no one has come back...been 3 weeks. The $39.99 service call ended up being a $78 charge with no repair. Unhappy customer.

Had the Hargis electrician out that quoted me a price of $750 to put in 3 floodlights. When I told him that was extremely high, he charged $89 fo him coming out. Needless to say I would never call them again

Called on Friday afternoon. Jason was here within the hour. Found a Breaker had gone bad. Also installed a surge breaker in the electric panel that we inquired about.

I’m highly disappointed this time the guys came out and said “I don’t see anything wrong” well I still don’t have power,obviously there isa problem..I paid a hundred bucks for that evaluation?? I could’ve done that…what’s worse is they did that to my mother once also..they came out and got my new cookstove running so I did like their service

They arrived on time and gave me a quote without breaking it down into parts and labor, I asked for a breakdown and for replacing 2 outside lights without any wiring was $500.00 for 1 hour of labor.
That is ridiculously, ask for a breakdown and they will reluctantly give you one.

I called the business at 10a and they had technicians at my house by 12:30p. Very professional and quality work. We will definitely be using Hargis again for any future work! Jason and Kolton were pleasant to deal with also, I appreciate they explained everything to me in terms I understood.
