Construction Company reviews in Pearland, Texas

I had a bad experience with this company - not recommended

This company is wonderful!!
They took the time with us personally and also did the job quick! They re did our bathroom and laundry room!! I would highly recommend them!!

I had a great experience booking with this team. I had pressure washing done for my home, they were fast and reliable. I recommend we know a guy!

Rey was super helpful, responds promptly. He was able to get me all the information I needed. Highly recommend!

Five stars all the way!! Easy to work with, customer service top notch. I'd definitely recommend.

I hired WE KNOW A GUY SERVICES to fix my fence, and they did a fantastic job! The team was professional, efficient, and delivered high-quality work on time. They kept everything clean and even took care of a few minor issues they noticed without charging extra. Highly recommend them for any fence repairs!

Replacing my roof was stress free thanks to the excellent service and craftsmanship of the team at We Know A Guy. I had a civil engineer inspect my roof and he assured me my new roof was top notch. Rey and the entire team exceeded my expectations and I will definitely use We Know A Guy for future home projects.

I cannot recommend this company enough!! They were the fifth and final plumber I called. Our washing machine drain kept over flowing and backing up into the kitchen sink. All of the first four plumbers said I had a collapsed pipe under my house. The first plumber came out and said he didn't have a snake or a camera for a 2" pipe but was sure it had collapsed and quoted me $28k! The second plumber did the same but quoted us $15k. Third plumber ran a snake and said he pulled out mud and rust so the pipe was for sure collapsed and quoted us $25k. The fourth didn't look at anything but still quoted us $33k!!

I finally reached out to Nicci and Joe and asked if the "knew a guy" (that's the corny person I am 🤣). They sent out their plumber the very next day. He was at our house for hours working on the CLOG! No collapsed pipe, no mud, no rust!! It was a very bad clog. We washed clothes that night and the drain backed up again. Not only did the plumber give my husband his personal number for him to call but him and Rey were out here the very next morning. They worked all day and were able to completely clear the clog. Rey was very communicative and explained everything to my husband over the phone through the entire day.

No matter what our home needs we will always take the guy that this company knows. If you're looking for an honest caring company these are your people. We saved over $30k by going with them!

My kitchen needed a makeover and I talked to Rey from We Know A Guy. During the initial consultation Rey gave my great ideas. He patiently listened to me and gave me feedback. Rey would come by every evening to check on the progress. I am happy with the results. I highly recommend this company and I will use them in the future.

I had an amazing experience working with I know a Guy. From start to finish, their team was professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. Rey took the time to understand my needs and delivered well beyond my expectations. The quality of their work was exceptional, and they completed everything on time and within budget. I couldn’t be happier with the results and would use their services again in a heartbeat, I highly recommend I Know a Guy to anyone looking for any job around your home, they told me no job is too big or small and they proved it.
Thank you for the great job!

I recently hired Rey and his team to install wood flooring in my home and build a concrete walkway in my driveway, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, Rey was professional, reliable, and extremely detail-oriented.

The wood flooring looks absolutely beautiful—smooth, flawless, and expertly installed. The installers took the time to ensure every board was placed perfectly, and the finish has completely transformed the look of my home.

The concrete walkway in the driveway is just as impressive. It’s sturdy, cleanly designed, and adds so much curb appeal. Rey guided me through the design and material options, and his recommendations were spot on.

What stood out most was Rey’s excellent communication and work ethic. He kept me updated every step of the way, showed up on time, and completed the project within the promised timeframe. The quality of his professionalism and dedication that really set him apart.

We initially had good experiences with this contractor (Rey), which is why we trusted them when they encouraged us to take on additional projects, including an epoxy garage floor. The epoxy began peeling shortly after installation, and multiple repair attempts failed.

The contractor stated they were working with the manufacturer to resolve the issue, then completely stopped responding to calls and texts. It has now been months with no resolution, no follow-up, and no accountability. Our garage was left in worse condition than before. Prospective customers should be cautious and think carefully before hiring this contractor for epoxy or larger projects. I personally would not recommend them.

Update 2/10/26:

Rey kept his word and fixed the flooring (see new photos). Much appreciated that he honored his promises and made things right. Not too many contractors would do that. They did a great job on the new flooring, no issues so far.

We had an excellent experience with we know a guy!

We were able to choose our quality of materials and the craftsmanship truly shows in the final result. Rey’s expertise made all the difference—his knowledge and professionalism gave us complete confidence throughout the project.

We know guy replaced our carpet with tile, improved our restroom, did some electrical work and added more space to another room. The work was done efficiently, cleanly, and with great care for our home. Our space looks better than we imagined, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend this team to anyone looking for top-quality work!
