We received a free Ting unit from State Farm several years ago. On September 7th, we received an urgent message from Ting that we had a potential fire. We had two problems, Oncor had to repair our line coming into the house, and we needed an electrician to replace our circuit breaker box.

I researched on line reviews, and saw that Adis Electric uses Ting monitors. They confirmed that we needed to upgrade, and we scheduled our project. They came the day before and did the preliminary work. They arrived at 8:00 a.m, and were finished before 5 p.m. They even hooked up a generator to make sure our refrigerator was working.

Extent of the work was replacing our circuit board, adding a whole system surge protector, installing a new meter box, outside emergency turn off switch, and installing copper rods to ground our whole electrical system. They even installed a new LED wall light fixture above our front door.

The team worked hard, inspections by Oncor and our City were passed without any problems. I am over the moon that I no longer have flickering lights, and we can even support getting an EV charger in the future.

Excellence in an electric company! I came home after a lightning storm to find my AC, wifi, TVs, and many electric appliances not working. I called Adis Electric and couldn’t be happier with the professionalism of Adis and his whole team. He clearly laid out the causes, options, and expectations and he and his team were always available for questions. They worked around my schedule and were extremely knowledgeable. This is an incredible company, doing quality work, with a team who are kind and knowledgeable. Not only does my home feel much safer, I learned a lot! He even came to my house today, Saturday, explained how to properly wire outlets and switches and left me a demo outlet and the proper wire connectors to use! If you want your electric job done properly, Adis Electric is the company. That beautiful green glow means I’m protected in the future.

Very much enjoyed working with Adis Electric and Cole. Had several issues around the house that were a little beyond my diy comfort zone. From breakers tripping to a mess in the attic after a remodel. Cole and Allen came out and fixed everything. They were very professional and left the place better than they found it. The best of it was their pricing model. They quoted a price, which I was comfortable with, but ended up less because it took less time than they originally thought. Will definitely use Adis Electric again.

Adis and his team took exceptional care of our business. As we have grown exponentially, they have been a phenomenal partner to help us stay up to date and connected with the equipment we need. I will continue to be a customer in the future an highly recommend them for their knowledge, speed, and extremely high quality of work.

We recently had a new electrical panel installed in our home. Our house is 45 years old and the electric panel was original to the house. We hired ADIS ELECTRIC. The team of electricians and the owner were professional and knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly, so we understood what was happening throughout the whole process. Our old panel was not grounded and had black scorches. It was not safe. They did a lot of prep work preceding the day the actual replacement of the panel was to occur. City code in Plano has changed and the panel had to be placed on the outside of our home. Our air conditioner was in the way, so they worked with the air conditioning company to move our unit to the best place to remain within city code. The wire connection to the ONCOR unit was compromised, so they contacted ONCOR to make the necessary repairs. When they were ready to turn off the electricity to our house the installation of the new panel was completed in about 6 hours. They worked smoothly with Oncor, Plano City Inspectors, our electricity company, and the air conditioning company, so our time without electricity was minimal. They grounded our new panel, added a surge protector, labeled our breakers, and hooked up our air conditioner. They were punctual and very respectful of our space. They cleaned up at the end of the job which we really appreciated. They provided a detailed estimate before the work began and the price did not change after the job was complete. Since the installation, everything has been working perfectly. We feel more secure about our electrical system, and it's nice knowing we have a safer more powerful panel to handle our needs. Overall, I would definitely recommend this service to anyone considering electrical work or looking to upgrade or install an electrical panel. I was considering a pretty big project so I called them. I’ll spend at least 10 grand and maybe quite a bit more than that. But would they waive their service call fee to come out and review my statement of work? No. I think they’re just like milestone and Baker Brothers, fixed fees from a price list and no common sense.

UPDATE: Adis reacted quickly and I was impressed. Going to give them a shot at my project.

I have never given any company bad rating on the internet but I would give this company 0 star if that is allowed on this rating scale.
We called Adis Electic regarding an issue with our dryer not heating up but still turned on. We figured out there is an electronic issues because the dryer was working at other place when we tested. The lady that answered the phone said they will charge a fee of $69 dollars to have an electrician to come look at it and did not inform us that testing will be additional charges. However, when the electrician Justin K showed up at our house, he wanted to charge us $441 just to test the breaker and wires. The lady that answered the phone did not tell us at all that they will charge a $69 fee just for the electrician to come to our door and not including any testing all at. That is very misleading on their part. When the electrician Justin K showed up and trying to charge us $441 just to test, we told him about the misformation that we were given to us over the phone. After communicating back and forth with him, he finally said he will just test the breaker for us and we will have to pay him the $69. We agreed for him to test and he told us that there were nothing wrong with the breaker and said if we want to replace the dryer electrical socket they would charge us $169. We told him that's over charging for a $10 socket that you can get from Walmart. After, changing out the socket, the issue is still there. Nothing was fixed.
We hired another electrician from a different company to come look at and test the same things for FREE. This electrician is actually honest and would not charge anything until the issue is fixed. Finally, we found out that the issue is the breaker. Had the electrician Justin K from Adis Electric told us the truth that our breaker is nothing working when he tested, we would not have to go through many trouble trying to figure out and trying to fix the other parts that had no issues to begin with.
Adis Electric is a dishonest company trying to scam people so they can make money out of their customers. STAY AWAY from Adis Electric unless you want a dishonest company with incompetent technician that gives you misinformation then trying to overcharge.
