Premier Lighting Solutions installed a complete Lutron Radio Ra2 retrofit for our home. Over 50 switches and devices, nest thermostats, and and an in-wall iPad mini touch screen. It's absolutely amazing to be able to control the entire house from the kitchen, phone, or using Amazon Alexa voice commands. The job was executed perfectly, which I'll get to at the end, but it's worth sharing the end-to-end experience of the job:

Our house had the reminisce of an early Leviton / HAI home automation system that was no longer functioning. We had no idea if we wanted (or could) upgrade in place, replace with a fully integrated system, or replace with one of the newer entry-level modular solutions. The old system was *impossible* to find documentation on. Hours and hours of internet searches lead me to only a few forum posts from 2005 -- nothing useful.

When I first called Terrell, amazingly, he knew all about it, and listed off a couple of solid options for us immediately. He then came to our house multiple times to walk us through different systems (and options within those systems) that would suit our needs and taste, count devices, etc., to really narrow into the final project scope before he started work and we wrote a check for material.

If you're doing a smaller job, the multiple visits probably wouldn't be necessary, but this was a large project for us so we really appreciated the extra touch. Through the system selection process he absolutely plays the role of a consumer first, and wanted to make sure we were completely happy with our choices.

The installation took about a week, which we spread across two phases because of some supply chain issues getting parts in stock thanks to Hurricane Harvey. We also had some wonky wiring in a few places in the house -- likely from a rush original install -- and a few rooms were more challenging to retrofit that originally anticipated.

During the whole project, including the gap between phases, Terrell stayed in close contact. He knew we had a series of guests coming into town and wanted the job completed by a certain date. He was proactive about keeping us informed of when the parts were coming into town and when we'd be on the schedule to make sure the job was done on time -- I never had to follow up.

Finally, and most importantly, the results are awesome. The system works flawlessly, but just as importantly the physical install is perfect. Everything was done very cleanly. Terrell quietly re-arranged the ordering in some of our 3-gang switch boxes to a more logical setup, and was *extremely* accommodating with mid-project requests as we were figuring out along the way how we wanted to interact with certain rooms.

Bottom line, if I ever expand my system, or move to a new house in the area, I'm calling Premier Lighting Solutions.

We have an older home and we wanted to control multiple lights from one location. We were worried about the complexity and the cost of the project. Premier Lighting Solutions provided a simple solution to our problem. The lighting was installed professionally and in a timely manner. We look forward to using them in the future and highly recommend them to others.

Terrell did an awesome job. He was able to tie into our existing electrical without making a big mess by cutting a giant hole in the ceiling like others had told us was necessary and thus saved us a bunch of money. I highly recommend him and will use him on future projects as needed.

Terrell worked at my house for about 2-3 months, handling a wide range of projects, and I can’t recommend him enough. We recently hired Premier Lighting and Home Automation to design, install, and program recessed lights to replace our outdated fluorescent lighting. They even installed a Lutron smart dimmer which is amazing. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.

Several people in my family have done business with Premier Lighting several times so that’s who I turned too when I wanted a smart thermostat for a bit of Smart Home Automation in my Dallas apartment. He recommended ecobee smart thermostat and worked with my schedule to do the install on a day I was already working from home. Terrell is a great guy, very professional and aware that I might ask for an ‘uninstall’ if I move apartments. He made sure to do a very neat install & leave all the parts. Pleased with the work that premier lighting done, very please with the Lutron shades installed in kitchen, formal living room & formal dinning area and bedroom, very seamless work along with the cassata dimmers and switches, also please with the lighting changes and adding of Lutron switches/ Dimmers that were added, terrel also took out the time to set up timers for switches and shades along with the Lutron app, if you want a clean & seamless look Lutron is the the only way to go! Not to mention how quiet the shades operate way to premier lighting,

After numerous attempts to find a media company to sort out our Control4 issues, we finally contacted Premier Lighting & Home Automation based on a recommendation from a friend. Terrell was quick to respond and thoroughly went through our system with recommendations of what we needed to upgrade and had proposals sent the same day. When I decided to look in to building my own smart home, I couldn't have been more fortunate to be referred to Terrell at Premier. I was interested in adding a smart outdoor lighting control. Reached out Premier Lighting and spoke with Terrell. I explained that I Wanted our entry light to come on when it was dark for safety reasons coming home. Being a Lutron lighting automation specialist, he recommended installing a controller and switch. Although it wasn’t a large job, Terrell was very professional, and was prompt, attentive, and personable. He walked me through setting up the Lutron app and gave me some pointers. He followed up with me soon after to see how it was working and make sure I was enjoying the system. Since then I have spoken with Terrell about adding some additional switches over time and he discussed in detail the different products that may work best for my system. Honestly it was enjoyable because I didn’t feel like I was speaking to someone just trying to sell me something, but more like chatting with a friend about upgrades to our houses.
