From the start, and especially to finish, our experience with Legacy Custom Pavers was excellent, and we've never been happier with our backyard in the ten years we've lived in our house.

We had synthetic turf installed to cover our ~1,100 sq. ft backyard after three unsuccessful re-sodding jobs over the years due to our two, 100 lb dogs consistently tearing up the grass.

In addition to it looking great and holding up with the dogs, it's been great when our kids are in the backyard or having friends over as the grass feels good and always looks clean.

Lastly, the crew was excellent to work with, and their meticulous work made the outcome look excellent. We've been enjoying it ever since!

We worked with Mike from beginning to end. The communication was excellent. The product and quality of work far exceeded expectations. Legacy Custom Pavers showed up on time. Legacy Custom Pavers just completed a paver patio overlay and expansion which has now tripled our patio space. Our sales rep Mike was very responsive and great to work with sharing his suggestions. The project lead Shiloh was always on time ... remained on site during the project .. and was always available to answer any questions or concerns during hardscape install. A truly professional company that actually stands behind the quality of their workmanship and timeline for project completion. What's the saying .. "A picture is worth a thousand words?" Hopefully the before and after pictures say it all.

Legacy Custom Pavers replaced my sad patio with a 250 sq ft paver patio and added a seat wall with pergola. I love how it turned out! Tim came out to give me the estimate and spent quite a bit of time here going over what I would want. Franklin led the crew that did my install, and he is top notch! Measuring and re-checking things along the way, and so easy to communicate with. When you are doing a project like this, many decisions are made while they are doing the install so it’s important that you can easily communicate with the crew. Franklin was awesome. Matt did my pergola and it looks amazing. Tim and Jesse both came by to check on the progress a few times throughout process. Love how everything turned out!

Joan and I am absolutely delighted with our decision to contract with Brandon Chaney, owner of Legacy Custom Pavers, located locally in Plano. Our driveway had been poorly constructed from the beginning and within just a few years, improperly bent rebar started poking through in multiple places and large chunks started to come loose. Cracks started to appear and the smooth surface flaked away with just the lowest of pressure from power washing. Resurfacing the drive obviously was not feasible since the underlying structure was so poorly constructed and it would have been a total waste of money.
I received several bids for both pavers as well as demolition and re-pouring a traditional concrete driveway. I actually had one quote on pavers that was twice what Brandon proposed and even one contractor bid more for the demolition and pouring of new concrete, which with our soil is prone to cracking over time, that was more than Legacy Custom Pavers pricing. Brandon showed me video of how his company installed driveway pavers (they also do patios, pools decks and outdoor living spaces) showing full demolition, excavation down 12 inches and then commercial road base laid and compacted, prior to the pavers being installed.
Joan chose Antique Pewter pavers to be laid in a herringbone pattern, with a charcoal border. Brandon used my lot survey and from that document had a CAD rendition of the project along with information concerning drainage, etc. for me to present along with other required information for Architecture Control Committee (ACC) approval through my HOA.
The end result is a unique, beautiful driveway that won't crack, is much less susceptible staining. Having had pavers before in our home in Horseshoe Bay, TX, I also know the money savings that you can have should there ever be a need to access water, gas, or other lines that run under the drive. To give and example of Brandon's attention to detail, he had his crew install a 4 inch PVC Conduit at the end of the new drive, next to the sidewalk for any cables or new irrigation pipes to pass through without have to disturb the pavers (it was buried 8 inches).
The demolition crew was absolutely amazing and so very respectful of our property and our neighbors. I personally verified with my neighbors and no damage occurred to any of their yard/property. Watching the excavation process and then the different layers of road base being applied and compacted reminded me of a highway construction site. The crew who installed the pavers were true artists! The care that they took was impressive. Brandon was on-site very often, checking with his project manager and personally conducting quality control checks at every stage of the work.One of his crew caught an issue with the long charcoal border on the right side of the drive. He had them pull out the entire border and replace it with new, unblemished pavers.
One of the things that really impressed me was that the day after the pavers were installed, a gentleman rang my doorbell and said, "Brandon sent me to power was the sidewalks and street." He had a huge commercial van with power washer and all of the soap-type cleaning materials. He spent about 2 hours cleaning any and all leftover dust, dirt and sand from the demolition and paver installation from in front of my house as well as my neighbors!!!
Brandon Chaney knows the McKinney, Plano, Frisco, Allen and Dallas area soil issues and that experience sets him apart for most paver companies. Joan and I could now be happier with our choice to have Legacy Custom Pavers install our new driveway.

Michael stood out in the bidding process from the very start of us looking at different contractors/companies. He answered when I called about various questions during the process and patiently talked through what we needed. We changed the specs slightly right before and it was a non-issue to them. Work was completed in a day and we used it that evening! Very impressed with the workmanship, willingness to help and provide perspective based on their lengthy experience. Would 10/10 use them again….in fact we are already in the process at having them do our flower bed bordering stone work for the front. Highly recommend.

What an outstanding company. We had a disaster of a stamped concrete over aggregate pool deck done two years back. It was already cracking and looked horrible. Mike worked with us on replacing the deck with natural stone and they did an amazing job. His attention to the detail and what we were looking for was fantastic. From the moment we met Brandon Chaney, the owner of Legacy Custom Pavers, we knew that we were dealing with a professional. Brandon came out and personally looked at our project to bring samples and make recommendations. Once we agreed to proceed with the project, he sent his crew to perform the work on our pool deck and let me tell you, these guys are amazing! They finished what was supposed to be a two day job in one! And the deck looks- amazing! But here's where the best part about Legacy really came into play. The company who was working on our pool ended up damaging about 10 of the pave stones that had been installed right next to the pool and while this had absolutely nothing to do with Legacy in any way, shape or form, what do you think Brandon Chaney agreed to do for us as a favor? That's right! He agreed to come back and replace those 10 damaged pavers free of charge because "he didn't want for us to have to start out that way" - with damaged pave stones. Talk about top notch service! I can not say enough about the professionalism and the quality work that Legacy Custom Pavers offers. In a nutshell, I would hire Legacy again in a heart beat and not even think twice about it.

We had hired Legacy Custom Pavers for a backyard project which included removing all grass, installing pavers, creating a pathway with steps & river rocks, and installing a service drain. Robert Shands and his crew did a good job in just one and half days, impressively fast.
Even before we signed the contract, Robert had come 2 or 3 times whenever we called him about some queries, bringing samples & suggestions. Great experience! We had to have our very cracked driveway replaced and the adjacent planting bed needed a retaining wall added. Legacy custom pavers did an outstanding job! From the very beginning when I started talking to the owner, Brandon, and supervisor, Bobby, and through the entire process, their communication was professional, friendly, timely, and helpful. I needed a lot of information and details, and I struggled with choosing the color of my pavers. It took me a while. Brandon and Bobby were kind, patient, and helpful. The driveway removal and replacement processes were carefully supervised and Bobby always kept communication open and answered every question. He was excellent ! I know I was not an easy customer, but their professionalism, expertise, attention to detail and patience were outstanding! I am so happy with the final product and the entire process. Tim and his team were punctual, respectful, knowledgeable, and provided stellar workmanship on our new pavers. Legacy Custom Paver did my Pool Deck and All I can say is “WOW”.

I saw their ad – “Call us before you call your pool company” and I am very glad that I did finally call them. I had gotten several quotes from pool companies to do different options for my pool deck and they were very expensive for what they were going do. Spray deck and concrete overlays for example. Legacy provided an option that was a much better value for the money. They removed the old concrete deck, installed drainage, then installed pavers and a new retaining wall.

These guys do excellent work and are very easy to work with. There was no high pressure sells pitch or push to upgrade. They brought my wife and I several different samples so that we could see what the pavers actually looked like vs what was in the brochure. We are very glad they did this, helped us from picking a color we would have regretted. The team that did the install were professional and very skilled in their trade. My pool has lots of curves to it and these guys cut pavers to fit around the curves. There were no large gaps. It was very impressive to watch them hand cut the pavers. The job took 6 days from start to finish. As part of the job, they had to install new drains where the old ones where in the concrete. I did not think about this when I was starting to price the jobs with pool companies. They added drain points that fixed areas where the water flooded up on my porch. This was an ADDED perk in getting all the concrete removed and pavers installed.

Would I use this company again? YES!! Would I recommend this company to my family and friends? YES!!!

Legacy Custom Pavers did an amazing job on our patio! Both Robert and Michael were professional, helpful and efficient. Very fair pricing and never felt like they were upselling anything. From the time we accepted the quote to a finished patio was less than 5 days. The crew onsite were also very professional and efficient.

Scope of our project was a 300 sqft patio in our backyard. Turned out great!
