We had an issue with air flow not shutting off in our master bedroom, which shares an AC unit with our upstairs game room. The tech (Adam) said this is usually caused by the motor on a damper going bad. However, once he checked it out, he said the motor was fine, and it was likely caused by us leaving the Fan setting to "On", which keeps the damper open. I probably did not explain this very well; however, I will say that he did not try to sell me something we did not need, or upsell me on other parts or services. Adam was knowledgeable, competent, professional and personable. I will use this company again.

I called Kingwood Air Solutions on a Wednesday for a quote, they sent out Chris that afternoon to my home. He looked over my old HVAC system and gave me few choices (Unit sizes & Price) to choose from. He recommended American Standard 4 Ton 17 Seer 2 Stage. I took his advice and he and his crew disassembled my old system and installed the new one in under 4 hours that Friday. He set up the new thermostat and showed me how to operate it. It’s is amazing. He also taught me preventive maintenance that I can do to keep my new system running good and last a long time. If you’re in need of a new HVAC system or repairs done, I highly recommend Kingwood Air Solutions. They are prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. It was like dealing with family.

I had an amazing experience with Kingwood Air! My AC broke down during the heat of August in Houston, and they were at my house within hours of my call. The technician was professional, friendly, and diagnosed the issue quickly. They repaired my unit on the spot, and it’s been running perfectly ever since. Pricing was fair, and they explained everything clearly. Highly recommend their fast and reliable service!

This company literally came out within a few hours due to my mother and father’s ac not turning on. Come to find out with was the thermostat but they diligently worked with my dad and all I can honestly say is I’m so happy I called them. Thank yall so much for getting the issue resolved

Everyone was great to work with. From my initial call for service to the final repair. The office kept me in the loop on what was happening. Adam did an awesome job. He explained the repair to me, what was happening, what needed to be fixed, how long it would take and what the cost was. There were no surprises. A part had to be ordered but I knew that ahead of time and they worked with my schedule to get the job done. I couldn’t be happier.

We have had a very good experience with Kingwood Air Solutions. Have had our system for 1 year. Competively priced and professional. Chris just performed our biyearly service. He is knowledgeable and friendly.

I do not recommend it. IMHO - they are scammers. They are just trying to sell you new things because it will bring them more profit.
I had a refrigerant leak in a 6 year old system. The service guy came and did only 2 "checks". He checked the pressure in the system in working mode and looked at the indoor unit from a distance of 3 feet without touching it and said - everything is bad and everything needs to be replaced. Here is your estimate for 15 thousand for a new unit. Did not offer any repairs. Said - I can pump freon, but it will leak instantly. Only a complete replacement.
Another company fixed the leak and filled the system. The price for this was 10 times less.
