Yardbirds did an incredible job with our backyard. The landscaping work they do is high quality and they stayed right on budget. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience with Yard Birds Landscaping!!! Dave visited with us and then worked out a design for our front and back yard. It was an absolute pleasure working with Dave, from design to finished product! He and his crew went above and beyond our expectations! GREAT JOB!!!

They redid my whole front yard with sod and they did a fantastic job prepping the round. Their supplier gave them sod that wasn’t very good and they rejected that and got the better grass and brought it over and installed it in one day.

If I had been asked for a review the day my landscaping was installed I would have given 5 stars. Everything from the estimate to the installation went very smoothly, and the crew did an excellent job removing our old landscaping and installing the new plants. A week or so later I noticed a few of the new plants had died. Since I was told I had a year warranty, I emailed in pictures of the plants, and the crew came out and replaced 2 of the 3 plants. I called about the third, but it was never replaced. I also emailed a question about one of the new palms, which isn't doing as well as the others, but I never heard back.

In spite of my poor experience with all the follow-up services, I would still recommend Yardbirds. I have received tons of compliments about the work they did. I just wish their post-installation service was as good as their estimation and installation services.

We just bought a new house and our landscaping needed a little updating. I have seen Yardbirds trucks all throughout Kingwood, but when I saw them in The Woodlands, I figured I had to call. I was so impressed on how professional and knowledgeable they were. The owner, Corey, personally came over to talk about options for my yard and explained why certain things needed to be done. He pointed out my sprinkler system flaws and drainage problems and said they could fix it. He didn’t push for a sale but told me I needed to have it done to avoid further issues. Needless to say, they got the job and I highly recommend them.

We are thrilled with our experience with Yard Birds and the entire staff, including the hard-working crew. Everyone was very friendly and professional, and Mark was very responsive to our needs, always quick to answer texts or emails, always patient with our questions or changes. We definitely recommend their services 👌 to anyone needing lawn care.

Scheduled an appointment in Kingwood for Yard Birds to come assess and repair my sprinkler. After they didn't show up for the scheduled appointment (nor did they call to inform me they were no showing) I called them. The woman I spoke with apologized and rescheduled an appointment for the following week.

Unbelievably they didn't show up for the 2nd appointment either, nor did they call to inform the needed to cancel.

At this point seems like a waste of my time to call them to find out why? Instead just moving on to a different company for my sprinkler needs. Disappointing from a company with pretty good reviews.

I have used Yardbirds Landscaping on two different properties. On both occasions they did the job we agreed on. They were prompt, efficient and the property looked great!
I worked with Dale. When I had a problem with one of the bushes, it was replaced in a reasonable time frame. I recommend them for your next lawn or yard project.

We used Yard Birds to redo our front yard landscaping and add uplighting. Dale was professional, timely, and creative in his delivery and their crew was great. They dealt promptly with any challenges/issues that arose and were a pleasure to work with. We would definitely recommend Yard Birds.

I had a great experience with our Yard Birds outdoor lighting project. Corey was our consultant. When he arrived at the house, he asked us about what we were hoping to accomplish. Where he thought there might be a better option, he explained his reasonings based on previous experiences. He sent us a detailed proposal that allowed us to understand exactly how the cost was calculated. This was useful in comparing other vendors. Ultimately, I found Corey’s proposal and recommendations to be better then other vendors. Once we decided to move forward, we were contacted by the install team. They did an excellent job in placement based on our discussions with Corey. Although the cost for professional installation is more than buying a lighting package kit off the shelf at the local big box retail store, the quality is much better and the end product design looks awesome. I would definitely recommend Yard Birds Landscaping to others considering an outdoor lighting specialist.

Did a great job with our mulch and moving plants around. The yard looks so much better now. Excellent customer service, highly recommend!

I requested a landscape design estimate using the Yard Birds online form and was contacted the same day. Candice came to my home that week, listened to my concerns and ideas and took photos of my yard. She sent a beautiful design that incorporated plants I liked and provided privacy in the areas I requested. Unfortunately the cost was a bit higher than we had budgeted and we decided to wait on the project, but I am so impressed with the design and customer service I received.

Working with Yard Birds was a pleasurable experience. Dale listened to our needs, and worked closely with us to find the right design/look. Even when we had some plants that didn’t do well, he worked with us to get them replaced with great customer service. Dale personally appeared at the job site to facilitate, which was a plus for me. We look forward to continuing using Yard Birds for all our landscaping needs. Take this from two very picky customers!! They were so professional and courteous.

Great company. Always willing to go beyond what the job is to make me happy. They really made my yard go from horrible to wonderful. My house was for sale for 43 days before I called Yard Birds and I couldn’t sell the house. With Yard Birds help in the yard, I was able to sell the house within 13 days after they came to my house. They really brought life to my yard and made my house look amazing!! I highly recommend this company to bring life to your yard!! They are already doing my new yard!! I can’t wait to see the end product!

We were out of town for Hurricane Beryl and our yard was a total mess. I called Yardbirds and they came out in the next few days and totally cleaned it up. You could not tell we had just been hit by a Hurricane. Great job!

We are so happy and pleased with everything we had done. The knowledge Yard Birds has and all of the guidance they gave us helped us to make a yard that is so beautiful to come home to. Yard Birds has been a great company to work with. The owner Corey and his crew have been so amazing to work with. From providing creative and functional landscape designs, fixing our sprinkler system, to installing Christmas lights they can literally do it all! They are always ready willing and able! Highly recommend!

We have used Yardbirds for years. They just redid a bed in our side yard. It required the planting of a water oak, several bushes, and some accent plants. They also rebuilt a rock wall around the bed. The project was completed in a timely manner. Yardbirds checked to make sure we were satisfied with the project before final payment was required.

Spencer, was wonderful to work with to get our landscaping done. He was so thorough and communicated all the way through. I would highly recommend Yard Bird Landscaping, they are beyond fabulous!

Would not recommend. Besides the obvious lack of professionalism from the owner, they refuse to correct any issues brought to their attention. When you notify the landscapers, who speak very little English, they refer you to the office. When you reach out to said office, they say it’s been communicated to the landscapers yet the same issues happen.
