I called and scheduled service with Bruce the Handyman. I ended up having to cancel the day of and tried to reschedule and he verbally assaulted me through text. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. He called me an F'n flake and proceeded to continuously text my phone with verbal assaults even after I told him to stop. I will never use him and I suggest no one else wastes their time with someone as disrespectful as him either.

I got this guy's name from Home Depot and when he called, I scheduled an appointment with him to install a new kitchen faucet, fix a leak in the kitchen sink and replace the underboard in the cabinet. His quote was reasonable and he set the date and time for the work to be done. He called at the time he was scheduled to arrive and said the job he was on had issues and he would be late for my appointment or we could reschedule. I began to tell him that I had left work to be at home at the scheduled time and therefore wanted him to come, but he cut me off before I could finish and was extremely rude to me. He said he could finish the job and would come to my house when it was finished. A couple of hours later he sent me a text saying the job at my house was not working out and we would need to reschedule for the next week. If Home Depot gives this guy a 5 star rating, they need to rethink this rating. This guy is unreliable and rude.

Bruce was very knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. He talked me through an electrical issue I was having over the phone saving me the time and cost of a visit. Highly recommend.

We called Bruce for a foundation water leak. He came out and provided a flat price without the price ever going up, he was honest and efficient. We will be calling him again. Thank you for the help!

I had asked Bruce for a repair/replacement of a garbage disposal. He instructed me how to quickly fix it over the phone, not costing me anything. I appreciate the honesty. I will definitely be calling him in the future for future repairs/help.

Bruce helped solve our issue over the phone. He listened, diagnosed, explained the problem. We were prepared to pay him to come out, but he ensured a future call because he used integrity. We'll use him again.

If it were possible to give a negative score I would. First of all Bruce talks more than he works and expects to be paid for hanging out. He starts when ever he wants and cuts his days short. He is extremely rude and even went out of his way every time he was at the house to get onto my son for not helping him with the job he was hired for! He saw my son a couple months later and approached him to tell him he remembers my son being lazy. When I contacted him to leave my son alone he responded with cursing and threats. Not worth your time you will regret hiring him.

Bruce was very professional, knowledgeable, on time and most of all... reasonably priced. I'm definitely hiring him for several more jobs. Also, if you want to talk about vintage cars and motorcycles...you have found your man.

Bruce did a great job and fixed more than we thought needed fixing. he was reasonable price and very convenient with his extended hours. I will use him whenever I need something.

He has repaired a leaking pipe in our attic from our AC unit.
Removed wall paper in several room without any damage to sheetrock.
He has removed and installed bathroom sink and vanity.
Installed an attic ladder in our garage.
He removed four very large mirrors in our formal dining room.
Bruce always arrives when he says he will and cleans up and removes debris. Prices and great..

I needed my kitchen faucet fixed and called Bruce. He responded within 15 minutes and a time for later in the day was made. He was on time, professional and courteous. I highly recommend him.

Bruce contacted us after we requested a water leak fix service from a store. While asking questions he was unclear (using technical terms) then he was impatient, because I did not understand these terms, then he was borderline rude all the while reminding me he was helping me. When, exasperated, I passed the phone to my husband to talk to him... he hung up. I rate him rude, crude and unprofessional, before he even started the job. I reported him to the Third Party that recommend him and I moved on to the next professional.

Called Bruce and he came over the very same day. He did a thorough check on my gas fireplace and cleaned it up. I feel confident to use my fireplace during this winter season. While at my house he fixed a broken light fixture in my kitchen.

Bruce does great work for a great price! He is a straight shooter. I would use him again in a heartbeat

We scheduled Bruce for kitchen sink/faucet/garbage disposal replacement, his quote for labor was fair, job well done. We purchased all 3 parts and he even recommended certain brand from HD. He called ahead as he will be running behind on appt. which not many handyman will do that!

I am, by nature, a skeptic; so I read every single review listed before I called Bruce's Handyman Service.
The reviews are real; not the typical company reviews posted by the company themselves to bolster their own image.
Once again I emphasize that Bruce was EXTREMELY helpful.
I would absolutely call him again, as well as recommended him to anyone.
Concerning the bad reviews I read, I can only say that some people are particularly thin skinned and aren't able to deal with someone who is direct and to the point. It is their own loss that they have foreclosed themselves from availing themselves of the superior service provided by Bruce's Handyman Service.
I would rate the service at 10 stars is I could.

Bruce is amazing! I had a couple issues at my house right before I was hosting a huge party and he fit us right into his schedule! He did excellent work and even went to purchase the parts for us!

I hired Bruce having a recommendation from Home Depot and I am very happy about the job he did for me. He took care of making his job precisely with a high level of keeping surrounding clean. I will hire him again if anything will be needed at home.
