Awesome people. I had the best service from the first call until the job was finished. Called Cool Hand Electric to install 8 flush mount lights in two room. When the tech Luke arrived he listen to what we wanted and gave us a quote. Luke also offer options to fit our budget. Great electrician.

The electrician that came to my home, Clay, was very friendly, professional and polite! Not only did he install my new pool light and fix the wiring issues outside in extreme heat, but he took time to sweep my whole pool (It is drained for painting) to clean it so I could start painting as soon as he left. That is ABOVE and BEYOND what he needed to do and I am very grateful! To find a knowledgeable electrician is great, but to find one who CARES about people is a blessing! His assistant was very friendly too! This was the first time I used this company and I plan to put them at the top of my list for all electrical work I need. Thank you, Cool Hand Electric and Clay!

We’ve been living in Texas for 6 days now and what a pleasure it was to have Shiloh and Daniel work on some things for our new house! They were very kind and personable, and very interested in helping us out and ensuring we had just what we needed! It’s lovely to be able to have a company with genuine, customer-focused people to rely on, and we are glad to have found them!! We joined the maintenance program and feel very covered and protected by their services and offerings. Highly recommend!

Tory and Daniel came out and very quickly assessed my electrical issue and did a thorough inspection to ensure everything else was up to code. Rebecca was also great to speak with over the phone and helped me to quickly get an appointment set up, she was even able to get Tory and Daniel to come out a little earlier than my original appointment time since they wrapped up another appointment earlier than expected. I look forward to working with them again!

My experience with Cool Hand Electric was excellent! Starting with the customer service phone call I got I knew I had made a great choice. The lady I spoke to was friendly and very nice. She understood the issue I had and set up my appointment. Luke came out and was very friendly and took the time to listen to what we had going on. He explained everything to me and I understood what needed to be done.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone and would gladly use them again!

    Thank you Cool Hand Luke!!!

Great work with extremely knowledgeable and professional salesmen. I would recommend them to anyone who has an electrical issue

Cool Hand is absolutely top-notch! While remodeling our kitchen, we needed to relocate an outlet for the refrigerator. They showed up within the promised time frame and kept us fully informed throughout the process. They didn’t just move the outlet—they took the time to walk us through various options to make sure we chose the best solution. On top of that, they conducted a safety inspection and found that our outdoor outlets weren’t weatherproof. Again, they provided clear options to address this issue. Plus, they provided an estimate to add some much-needed lighting in our pantry. Their attention to detail and exceptional service really sets them apart—highly recommend!

Cool Hand Electric is a company that provides true pride of workmanship and excellent service. We recommend them to anyone in need of electrical work.
After experiencing a partial loss of power to our a/c units and half of our house right before 5 p.m. on a weekday, we called a local electrical company as well as one that is always advertising for fast, 24/7 service, only to be told by both companies that they could not help us until later the next day. Fortunately, we found Cool Hand Electric. Kristen answered the phone and immediately said that they could help us that evening. Blake came to help us within 90 minutes of my call, and Kristen was keeping me updated on when he would arrive the entire time in-between. Blake immediately diagnosed the problem, wrote up a detailed quote for the work, and completed the repair that night. We hired them to come back two days later to completely replace our old circuit breaker, modernize it, and bring it up to code.
The entire crew (Blake, Daniel, Matthew, and Tory) that worked on our circuit breaker was professional and friendly and took great care to keep our house and garage clean. Rebecca called the next day to ask when it was convenient to schedule the city inspector, and on that day Luke showed up promptly to meet with him and make sure everything passed the inspection (it did). We were so impressed with their work that we hired Cool Hand to come back the next week and install a ceiling fan and new front porch lights. Tory came and did a fantastic job making sure everything worked well and looked great.
We will not hesitate to hire Cool Hand Electric again for all of our electrical needs.

Job done: replace circuit breaker panel.
Quickly responded to my initial inquiry after I found CoolHand Electric through the Good Contractors List. Office staff and technicians very courteous and professional. They send a picture of their technician before they come! Their initial service call cost is higher than some others. but well worth it. They were very thorough in checking out everything that could be issues, finding those that were and noting things that were in good order. Worked up a comprehensive estimate with multiple levels, from basic "make it safe" to meet code requirements (house built in 1975), up through comprehensive upgrade options. We chose a middle path and they worked with us on the upgrades that mattered most to us and did not push other non-essentials. A fair price for the work done, as compared with another bid.
Shiloh and Matt were fantastic to work with when they got on the job, working steadily. They gave extra time needed to get an old fixture working correctly. We appreciated them so much we decided to go with an annual contract and will use them for our electrical needs (like fixture installation) in the future.
    Highly recommended!

I was honestly shocked by the experience I received. My appointment was scheduled for 6/6, I was canceled on the morning of and rescheduled for 6/9.
I confirmed the pricing range that is advertised on the website during my call.
When the techs came out, they followed their own agenda of checking and making recommendations to my brand new home before addressing the reason for my appointment in the first place (ev charger installation) it took 45 minutes to get a quote. When I got it, it was 5X the amount advertised online, when the techs made an effort to call (the owner) the answer I heard over speaker phone was, oh that pricing online is wrong, pre Covid pricing. Frankly, that’s not my problem, you advertise a price, I confirm the price, then told after being canceled on that the price is 5X what is advertised? How is that good business? I NEVER take the time to leave bad feedback because I give folks benefit of the doubt and understand folks have bad days. But this was a horrible experience top to bottom.

I needed a ceiling fan replaced, so I reached out to Cool Hand Electric. My window was between 1-4. Tory Jackson was my technician and he stayed in contact with me up until my appointment time. This was helpful as I was at work. Tory came out and did a safety inspection, and explained everything to me in great detail. He was very understanding of my situation, and it's always good to find someone relatable. I had questions that's he did not mind answering. He installed my ceiling fan, and cleaned up after. Tory's communication and customer service was excellent, and I did appreciate his friendly and respectful manner especially after a long day at work.

I highly recommend Cool Hand Electric, specifically Tory. Tory was punctual, professional and very communicative. Tory explained everything that he was going to do, the issues that were found, and solutions to the problem. I appreciate the fact that he spoke in terms that were easy to understand for those of us who are not electricians. Kudos to Cool Hand for employing happy and knowledgeable electricians. 10 out of 10 recommend and I will definitely use them again.

Shiloh was great. He came to fix a malfunctioning doorbell that we couldn't figure out. Not only was he able to fix the problem, he let us know our surge protector was outdated and was able to bring us to code. He was very detailed in explaining everything he did, and educated me on several things. Very grateful I contacted Cool Hand Electric. Exceptional service. Thank you Shiloh.

Only giving four stars due to pricing. First the techs Tory and Patrick were great. Punctual, professional and polite. Good guys and competent. I know you have to pay well to retain talent. Also, they advertise they donate to First Look so that was good. However, I called because I had a specific problem and this is where the business model will get you. I was sold a whole house inspection for around $500 which I thought was a little much as I only have a 2000 sq ft house however, my problem was my pool equipment (2 pumps) just stopped working and my limited knowledge couldn't ascertain why. Tory quickly diagnosed it as power surge fried the main pump timer and needed replacement. Ok I thought we'll go ahead with rest of inspection maybe surge damaged other stuff. I'll go ahead and pay a couple hundred more to have them replace timer. Well inspection uncovered 8 other issues as house is 20 y/o and they could fix all for 5k. What got me was charging $1200 to fix pool timer. I said no went to Home Depot got one for $70 and did it myself. Also they want $800 to $1500 to install surge protectors which run for less than $100 on Amazon and you an do diy if moderately competent. Bottom line they'll try to upsell you and put you on their club plan. Techs can't negotiate pricing. If you want boutique electrical services and can afford it these are your guys .

Highly recommend. Cool Hand recently completed installation of a Kohler whole house back-up generator. Shiloh initially visited our house twice to assess the project and offer options for scope and pricing. He then developed the design for a very, very complex installation and was the lead installer, with strong support from Daniel and Matthew, during some of the most bitter cold days of the winter. Shiloh was a perfect representative for Cool Hand. He was professional, knowledgeable, hard-working, timely, friendly, and a terrific communicator. Kristen and Rebekah in the office were also very friendly and great communicators.

We had some outlets around our garage that weren’t working, so we called Cool Hand. They came out, quickly identified the issue, and presented us with clear options to get everything fixed. On top of that, I mentioned a laundry list of other improvements I wanted to tackle around the house. They took the time to break everything down, giving me the flexibility to either handle it all that day or spread the projects out over time.

What really stood out was their professionalism and patience—they were even great with my energetic 2-year-old daughter, who kept things lively the whole time! Excellent service and a fantastic team. Highly recommend!

    **5 Stars - Outstanding Service!**

We recently had the pleasure of working with Cool Hand Electric and couldn't be happier with the service provided. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.

The electrician arrived on time, was extremely professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly before beginning the work. What impressed me most was their attention to detail and the quality of their work. They handled a complex wiring issue in my home with ease and ensured everything was up to code and safe. They were also very respectful of my home, leaving the workspace clean and tidy.

In addition to their technical skills, Luke was friendly and approachable, making the whole process stress-free. Their pricing was fair and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises.

I highly recommend Cool Hand Electric to anyone in need of electrical services. They are reliable, knowledgeable, and truly care about their customers' satisfaction. I will definitely be using their services again in the future!

Cool hand electric was awesome to work with. Extremely professional and does quality work. We had an outlet installed for an outdoor TV and a large, 70 lb. crystal chandelier installed on our 20 foot ceiling.

We have a couple other projects in the works and will be using Cool Hand Electric when the time comes to complete those as well.

I saw all the reviews for Cool Hand Electric and decided to give them a try. I called them out for an estimate to rewire my house, the technician was very professional and did an excellent job looking at everything. He went to his truck and worked up the estimate and roughly 45 minutes later presented it to me. He began his pitch talking about the warranty they provided, then moved on to call his boss to see if I had any questions etc. Let me be clear, Cool Hand Electric did not preform any work for me, they just provided an estimate. I paid the technician $69 to provide the estimate but that was all I paid. I could not grasp how the work to be done could possibly be as expensive as the quote. I am not an electrician, but the quote was so much, it was laughable. I ended up having the work done with another company that is fully licensed etc for less than half of the quoted amount. I'm writing this review more to encourage people to get multiple quotes before spending any money.
