SERVPRO of Richardson

This is a recommendation for ServePro of Richardson, but more specifically for Jose Guerrero who acted as the general contractor and insurance liaison.
We met Jose of ServePro when we had an insurance claim for flooding in our home. From the beginning Jose was very helpful in working with the insurance company and being sure they had all the information they needed. Our insurance adjuster was very difficult to work with but Jose kept things going. As the work progressed Jose became the general contractor for the repair. He made sure we understood the work that was needed and estimating the time required for the repairs. He kept us well informed of the progress in general but also in letting us know which and when contractors would be arriving. He came to check on the progress everyday and if I missed him at the house he would always call to check in.
Our water damage was very extensive, requiring the wood flooring in the entire first floor to be removed which included all the cabinets, countertops, and appliances. I was very nervous about damage that might happen to all those things being removed but in the end it all went back in very nicely. Jose was there for every step along the way making sure the work was done correctly. When additional (hidden) damage was found he documented and filed it with the insurance company, often having to “do battle” with them for approval.
We had a bathroom that needed to be gutted and remodeled so we decided to add that on as a separate (non-insurance) job. Again Jose kept us well informed and the contractors flowing through on time.
In the end the work was completed on time and to my expectations of quality. If you are in need of a quality service and a great general contractor I highly recommend you check in with Jose at ServePro.
