Air Systems replaced our home's central AC & heating system. We weren't too happy about having to replace a 13-year-old system (I thought they'd last longer!), but Carlos Jimenez with Air Systems worked with us to get the best system for our home at the best price. He gave us quotes on 7 different options so we could really compare products and make the very best, informed decision. We loved our previous AC company, but Air Systems gave us a price that the other company couldn't match.

Due to manufacturing delays, we had to wait a few weeks for the system to come from Trane, but once it came in, the guys from Air Systems were out the very next day. They only took one day to remove our old system and install a new Trane XR17 heat pump system and outdoor compressor, along with a new Trane WiFi thermostat. They had to remove door trim to get the old system out, but then they came back a couple of days later and reattached the door trim, caulked and painted it. Looks like new! The new system has a 10-year warranty from Trane and for a nominal fee we were able to add 10-year warranty on all labor from Air Systems.

Everyone at Air Systems was so professional and respectful. The install team was so respectful of my home. I work from home due to the pandemic and they didn't disrupt me at all. I look forward to continuing our relationship with twice a year maintenance agreement.

Get a quote from Air Systems before you commit to anyone else!

We called Air Systems as a second quote for a new HVAC system. Actually I didn't call but filled out a form with my phone number and my question late at night. I received a text the very next day saying someone would be out later that day at 3pm. Our system was 12 years old and had a leak. Unfortunately it also has the old refrigerant R22.

So Carlos came on time and he went straight to the attic to see what kind of system we had. He is a man of few words and let me know that he would have to go to his office and gather info for the systems we were interested in based on the seer rating. He left and I received an email about 2 hours later. The email with the info was easy to read. My husband and I made a decision and let Carlos know through text.

We had to go the finance route and signing up for that process was painless and quick.

At this point is was Friday late night. He had to wait to get confirmation from the bank about our approval and that would be on Monday.

On Monday I let him know that an ideal day for us would be Thursday. He said that he and his team would be here between 8 and 9 am. They were here right on time! The whole process ended around 430pm. One of the workers gave me a quick rundown of the wall thermostat. It was great. They were great!

Carlos came by the next day in the morning to check that the installation went smoothly.

The process from beginning to end was easy and we'll use them again for sure!

Update, 6 weeks later, two days before temps were forecast to drop into the mid-teens: Already cold enough for the heater to kick on, it would kick off in an hour or two. A tech was at my house within an hour of calling. After leaving, the system kicked off again. The tech returned, again almost within an hour, and this time found the problem: a bad circuit breaker that would overheat and trip. (Intermittent problems like that are the hardest to find.) The heater ran for hours the next day without fail.

Original review: Price was high but installation, it's said, is more important than the brand. This installation was excellent. Drop cloths were laid down on floor. All old equipment, inside and outside house, was removed. Crew worked without taking a break, and boss checked the system before they left. Professional all the way.

Very responsive when our HVAC needs servicing or repair. When our unit needed a part but was hard to find they made extraordinary efforts to secure the part and expertly repair our unit in a timely manner. We highly recommend Air Systems.

A previous customer was so satisfied with Air Systems equipment and installation they recommend the company to anyone needing HVAC work. For us, response time for estimate, written estimate, and completed work was just a few days. Installation crew was professional; they asked ?s as needed and got on with the job. Carlos provided equipment options and doesn’t hard- or up-sell.
Our duct system is old, old, old and we’ll be calling the company soon for an estimate on that work.

I have followed Air Systems for years. As an Angie's List person, I used them when a friend needing A/C work. They were rated 5 Stars. I told my friend...he used them...replied that they were Outstanding. So when I needed to replace two A/C and Heating systems they were one of three companies I contacted. After evaluating all three, Air Systems was "hands-down" the best. They beat the other two companies, were more customer oriented and they use Trane Systems which was what I was replacing. Installation and all paperwork was on time and perfect. As a result, I have also bought a 10 year maintenance program where Air Systems will be the company that will repair and future breakdowns. Carlos and Air Systems are "great!"

The service provided was first class. The installation of the unit was seemless. They arrived on time, were considerate to the property, and thorough from start to finish. Both gentleman were friendly, intelligent, organized, responsible, helpful, understanding and patient. When coming in and out of the home, they were respectful and took precautions to ensure they did not leave footprints or dirt in the home. What was most impressive was the owner of the business come to the house to ensure everything was going smoothly and asked if I had had questions or concerns. Approximately a week later I received a courtesy follow-up call, which I appreciated. I was, and am still, amazed that they processed all of the paperwork for me to get the CPS rebate. I didn't have to do a thing but sign my name.

Don't fall for companies that have silly commercials or make unrealistic claims. Go with a local, family owned company that has a long standing presence in our community. Support this company with your business, you won't be disappointed.

The number one place for air conditioning service! David E showed up and was extremely pleasant and nice. I’ve never met anyone nicer and more professional. He explained what he was doing and answered all of my questions. I am so happy I used Air Systems and have been recommending them to all of my friends.

We have purchased two tow HVAC system from Air Systems. Carlos and his team did a great job. We had several companies bid on job and Air Systems provided a competitive bid. We chose Air Systems because we have been happy with their service in the past. They arrive on time, do great work and are very conscious about leaving our house clean when they were finished. I would definitely recommend them for any AC/Heating work you may need.

We have been an Air Systems customer since moving to San Antonio a few years ago. We can't say enough about how pleased we have been with the quality of their service. They are truly a customer-oriented business. They are always professional, polite, and easy to work with. Their technicians are knowledgeable and don't mind answering questions and explaining what they do. In April 2017, Air Systems did a complete change-out of our A/C and furnace system with a quality Trane System. We made this job challenging for them in that they had to schedule their work over three different days because of other work we were having done at our home. Although I know this created challenges for their work schedules, they graciously accommodated our needs and the work being performed by another contractor. With respect to their work, the quality of the work is evident every place you look. We don't believe we could have gotten a more professional installation. We can't imagine ever calling anyone else to handle our A/C and heating needs.

We have used Air Systems for years and have have always counted on them for reasonable prices, professionalism, and honesty. Have recommended them to friends and neighbors and now they love them as well. Our regular maintenance tech, David, is wonderful and easy to talk to. This is a great company to do business with.

By far the best company, Air Systems gave us be best estimate for a new AC Unit. Our AC went out beginning of May and I called them to see if they could come out soon since my mom is 75 years old and is at home all day. They came out that afternoon, they fixed it right away but advised us that our unit was very old and needed to be replaced. I asked 3 different companies to come out an give us an estimate and by far Air Systems A/C-Heating And Refrigeration gave us the best price plus 0% Financing for 18 months. I recommend them to anyone needing a new AC Unit or simply maintenance.

Air Systems replaced all of our air duct system, our furnace and our air conditioner in February 2020. The company and their employees were very professional, courteous and respectable of our property. They were all very hard workers and completed the job in a very timely manner. They made a thorough assessment of what our entire system issues were, discussed multiple options with us, presented us with a fair proposal for the work, and completed the job as planned. They cleaned up daily and we could not have been happier with the work they did for us. We would highly recommend them to anyone that needs any of this work done.

I needed to replace my HVAC unit relatively quickly. Carlos made it out to my home within 12 hours of me first reaching out to the company. They were prompt on the service, made sure I felt comfortable with everything being done, and professional throughout the experience. Not to mention that they were almost $2,500 cheaper than competitors. I feel as if I'm setting up a relationship to ensure my HVAC system is being taken care of over the next 10 years, rather than just paying for the installation and hoping the work was done correctly. Air Systems installed my Trane system a few years ago. I have contracted with them for all of the maintenance since then and have been very pleased with the service I have received. Recently, Alfredo came out to complete my Fall system check. He did an amazing job, was very thorough, and took time to answer all of my questions. I especially appreciated the care he took in being respectful of my home by wearing shoe covers! Alfredo is a great representative for Air Systems. We recently had two complete A/C and heating systems replaced by Air Systems. Their bid was the most complete, transparent, and easily understood of all we received. The equipment they quoted was the best according to a national review organization (CR). They set up a schedule which they followed as planned. The equipment has been installed and inspected and is working beautifully according to all previous expectations. The workmen were courteous, efficient, and left the work area spotless. Carlos is a man of his word and they will continue to get our business for the maintenance of this excellent equipment. I highly recommend them.

I used Air Systems to replace a 20 year old heat pump. From the start of diagnosing the old unit, to getting a quote (no pressure tactics), to the actual replacement, everything went smoothly. Carlos and the team were fantastic. Carlos spent 10+ minutes with me on the phone at the beginning of my replacement inquiry just answering question after question and did not pressure me at all.

The quote was a good price but more importantly, the team did a fantastic job on the installation. The day of the installation, they removed the old unit, installed the new unit, cleaned up and stayed for an hour to make sure the unit was functioning properly. They even assisted with installing additional plywood in my attic. The entire job was done in about 5-6 hours. The team even submits the CPS AC replacement rebate for you.

This team will be my go-to for any HVAC related problems in the future and at some point, I will need to replace my other heat pump. They will be the only place I contact to do that.

Been using this company for AC tune-up and small AC repairs for 5 years now. David has been absolutely amazing technician - he is honest, knowledgeable and does not up-sell. He has kept our 17 year old AC running just fine with small repairs. They are also very reasonable in terms of their repair costs. Unlike other companies, they have fixed the underlying issue without straight up suggesting replacement of the whole AC system because they want to make additional money on new system install. Don’t be afraid to give them a chance! I am certain they will exceed your expectations as well!
