Their FREE Saturday educational seminars are GREAT!!
Their staff is EXCEPTIONAL!!
They'll walk with you and help you pick out EXACTLY what you're trying to describe!! 😍

We recently relocated to this side of town so we're used to the other location on Bandera Road.
Just like Bandera Road, the selection of plants and garden supplies was great and varied. The prices were more than fair and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.
The Thousand Oaks location feels smaller than the Bandera location, but they pack a lot of inventory into the space.
I highly recommend Rainbow Gardens to the beginning and experienced gardener!

Long time customer >10years, used to live off Thousand Oaks/Rowe. Moved to Bulverde however we come into town because of the vegetable selection and pricing. Over the last few years prices have continued to increase. This last weekend was the last straw. Wife wanted a rose bush and I was going to get some more okra. Last time the price for okra was ($3.49) and I could hardly stomach paying that. I remember prices at $1.99 then $2.49 and now $3.49. The excuse for the price was because it is organic… Went this weekend and okra was priced at $5.99 (literally thought it was mislabeled) as I had just paid $3.49, well again I was told because it’s organic. Obviously this is some excuse the employees were told to say. $5.99 per okra plant, rainbow gardens really!!?? Decided to not get the rose bush and especially not the okra, left and went to HEB where vegetable plants were $1.50. By the way other vegetables at rainbow were priced at $5.99 as well. You have effectively priced yourself out and have lost a long term customer. I used to recommend to everyone to go there and now I tell them you’re out of touch. I would give 1 star but because of long history a gave a 2. Again, $5.99!!! Fix your prices!!
