Benders has been taking care of my lawn for about 6 months now. I am very happy with their service. They have a larger team than average that work very well together. They do not rush, pay attention to details and get the job done nicely. I am very satisfied with being able to communicate my needs and preferences. Every time that there is something I would like to adjust I let their coordinator know and it is addressed. Prices are fair. I tried independent services and large companies. So far they are my best Sa Antonio Lawn care experience.

We had a great experience with everyone at Bender. Carlos was always available to answer questions and give recommendations. They worked with our schedule and finished the project so quickly! We love the way our yard turned out.

Benders is the BEST! The owner John is extremely knowledgeable, kind, easy to talk to and above all, fair! He also runs a tight ship. He and his crew installed brand new sod in our front and back yards.

Benders go above and beyond to stand apart. Blowing leaves and cleaning up every visit, which had nothing to do with the sod. My wife and I were very impressed. We will definitely be using them in the future!!

Bottom line, I CANNOT recommend this company because of their spotty and inconsistent quality. Their service started off okay. But then the quality of their work continued to get worse over time. I hired Benders to conduct full service year round lawn and hedge maintenance, including seasonal clean-ups and fertilization. All they really did was cut and trim the lawn. BTW, they didn't even do that very well. I generally had a different crew come out every few months and some were better, while others were worse. Do some research. I guarantee you can find MUCH BETTER SERVICE else where.

I’ve had Benders taking care of my yard for about 6 years now. They trim my trees and bushes too. Recently John replaced a cracked elbow on one of my capped off sprinkler heads. I didn’t notice the leak from the problem. If he hadn’t informed me, I would have been watering the concrete longer. I’m grateful that I have lawn care company that I can depend on and who saves me costly repairs later on. Oh, and the office people are great too!

Contacted Benders late on a Friday to complete work by the following Tuesday in order to list our house. They were extremely responsive and provided an accurate quote once pictures were provided. Super responsive and transparent. Project was promptly completed in full on time. Entire process was so seamless! Highly recommend

John was a professional from start to finish. He always showed up on time and gave us a heads up when he was on the way. His crew was very efficient and did a great job of cleaning up when they were finished. His prices are very reasonable.

We've been in our house for a little less than a year and are so happy to have found Benders! We initially found Benders last summer because we were looking for a company to mow our lawn on an as-needed basis during the drought (not every week or two weeks as some companies require). Their mowing, blowing, and edging services are excellent. After realizing the extent of the services that they offer, Benders then became our go-to company for everything landscape related. They replaced the backflow of our irrigation system and made other sprinkler repairs. After the Christmas 2022 freeze, our landscape was looking terrible -- but Benders came and had everything looking fantastic in only 3 hours! Benders also aerated our lawn and applied compost topdressing this spring.

Benders has outstanding people on their team! Davina, in customer service, is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Jose has done much of the work in our yard and he has always done an exceptional job.

Benders offers excellent value and great customer service. We highly recommend Benders and look forward to continuing to work with them for our landscaping needs.

Just want to follow up on my initial review. We have continued to have such a terrific experience with Benders! Since my initial review, we’ve had Benders complete two major landscaping projects, including a flagstone patio for our bbq and pathways around the back of the house. Every spring, we’ve been having them come back to clean up and add mulch to the garden beds, aerate and add compost to the lawn, and plant new perennials and shrubs. So impressed with all of their work!

Davina is wonderful to help plan projects and Humberto’s work is always outstanding. This is definitely our go-to company for everything landscaping. Highly recommend!

This business has taken care of our lawn needs for years. They are responsive, proactive and very customer service oriented. We have dogs..the crew makes sure the gate is closed when they leave. I’ve had a really good experience with Benders so far and I’m still an active customer. The biggest difference for me has been the communication—Davina has been awesome to work with. She’s genuinely cheerful, easy to talk to, and you can tell she actually wants to help.

Their processes feel modern and organized, and I appreciate that they’re proactive about suggesting services that make sense instead of waiting for problems to get worse. Small example: I asked about weed treatment and Davina immediately looped in Jose to get details from the crew lead and promised an update the next morning.

Overall, it’s been a smooth experience and I plan on adding more properties for them to maintain.

This Landscaping service was the absolute worst service i have ever been forced to pay for. They were late, they dressed trashy and unkept. Did a pretty sloppy job, and I'm pretty sure that one of the workers was smoking weed from a pipe on my property. this was all known to me reviewing my cameras after they had finished. i will never use them again. EVER.

I had them trim some very large trees that stretched over my house. They provided a reasonable quote and completed the work in a timely manner. They did a great job and neighbors have complimented how it looks. I would use them again.

I also was the recipient of bad service. The owner seemed to be a very unreasonable person once on the job. I don't understand all the rudeness and attitude that i had caught after they started working. I only asked them not to cross through a certain points on my path and they got very upset and raised his voice at me. i almost fired the job right there, but was really needing the property done for hosting a gathering with no time to hire another crew. be careful when hiring these guys.

This company knows what they are doing and has always done a great job for me. The owner knows his landscaping and better yet knows his trees. He planted two trees for me and they are taller than the one I already had in my backyard. I would definitely use them again.

My HOA has hired several different landscaping companies, suffice to say they have been lacking. From broken sprinkler heads to broken gates, the list goes on. I must say that Legend Landsapes is by far the best we have had in the community. Wes the operations manager and his crew are top notch. He ensures that the job is done correctly and we are completely satisfied. You can believe that when Wes says the job will be complete, it will be.
