Suarez tree service did a great job cutting down an old 50 ft tall Chinaberry tree in our backyard that was leaning against our shed. Humberto did a great job climbing up almost up to the top of the tree and cutting it down branch by branch until he got to the main trunk. Then he cut up the trunk and left us with some nice pieces for our personal use. Finally, he and his son cleaned up our yard and hauled it all away. Everything for a reasonable price. Very professional and courteous the whole time. Since we have two Live Oak trees in our yard, we will definitely be calling on him again. Highly recommended.

I have been fortunate to have Etter tree care both trim and priming my native oaks and counsel me on the care and treatment of a purchased and transplanted Monterrey Oak. I’ve use other arborists in San Antonio (mostly because Etter was booked at the time as I failed to schedule enough in advance) and they were very good but weren’t what my mother bragged about at Etter and she was right.
They are professionals. The teams they send are professional, well-supervised, and clean-up is thorough and prompt. Everything is chipped on-site or trucked away.
The attention and care my native oaks received and the pruning and trimming service I received was above and beyond. Mark even stopped by to check on my young oak from time to time. That’s service you just don’t expect.
Strong winds recently pushed Monterrey oak out of alignment and Micheal came that morning to install posts to restore her the right position.

Prices are in line with others I have paid. More than fair for what you get; not just the mechanics of cutting but all the knowledge of tree health in one package. Your trees will thank you.

Etter Tree Care knows their business. They always do a great job, make good suggestions, and help keep my trees healthy and looking their best!

They are not the cheapest in town, and in this case, you get what you [pay for. For 35 years they have taken care of my trees, do a thorough job, making sure that there are not branches likely to come down on my house or car.

Very knowledgeable people who have a teaching approach to thier customers. Years of experience and constantly doing research to learn more about the trees they are treating. Tree surgeon, not a tree remover.

I had a very humiliating unfortunate meeting with a employee of Etter's Tree Service. Her name is Karen. I stopped in to see if I can setup an appointment to speak with Mr. Etter and I was told there isn't a way for me to setup an appointment or a time that I can come in to see him. That he is here when a white truck is outside the business.. The two experiences I have now had with two different employees.. I would never recommend nor use the business services.

Etter provided excellent service from start to finish. Michael, the arborist assigned to us, was prompt and spent a lot of time evaluating the many trees we had on the property and answering all of our questions. We went with their services to have an oak tree trimmed and the crew did an excellent job and ensured the area was completely cleaned up when done. To top it off, the final bill was less than what was quoted.

I have used Etter Tree care now on 2 different occasions. I loved that Ed not only came out initially for estimates but he was there on-site before work started a number to times to ensure it was done according to the plan. His knowledge and service were impeccable especially compared to other "tree services" I had used. He made a follow up phone call afterward to see if I was satisfied with the work. I found his prices were also very reasonable. Outstanding service and value!

Michael cares about nature and animals and our planet’s health. He kindly gives guidance on what trees will work in your area, how to plant them and care for them. Has knowledge through his university and real extensive experience from working for the City of San Antonio!!
