I have used Davey Tree once in the past 8 months to do some extensive work (upwards of $2k worth), and they did a great job at that time. However, when I tried to set up another appointment to remove and trim more trees, I have now been cancelled on at the last minute twice in one week with no sincere apology for the inconvenience, just “I’m sorry I lost track of time” and “I really can’t leave this crew” followed by a lame attempt to reschedule a third time for some vague date at least one week away. They clearly don’t care. Very unprofessional. Taking my business elsewhere.

I do not recommend Davey Tree to anyone looking for a tree company. Davey's corporate leadership is committed to emergency response. That means that no matter how far in advance you schedule service, you will get bumped if an insurance claim comes in from someone else. You will NOT be their number one priority. In my most recent experience, I was sitting at home for an hour and a half before they called to tell me I had been bumped and would have to reschedule. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Used Davey Tree to reluctantly cut down an 200 year old tree which had grown to within inches of our back patio/sundeck. The tree was huge. Continued trimming of the tree away from the patio was no longer an option.
All went well, the crew supervisor really knew what he was doing when cutting this monstrosity down. No surprises as I expected from Davey Tree. Will definitely use Davey Tree on my next project!! Thanks for all your help!
