Used Davey Tree to reluctantly cut down an 200 year old tree which had grown to within inches of our back patio/sundeck. The tree was huge. Continued trimming of the tree away from the patio was no longer an option.
All went well, the crew supervisor really knew what he was doing when cutting this monstrosity down. No surprises as I expected from Davey Tree. Will definitely use Davey Tree on my next project!! Thanks for all your help!

Davey Tree has been caring for my gorgeous, very old trees for a number of years. My home was designed by a landscape architect to ensure that none of the existing Oaks were removed or damaged. Thomas Sillitoe, arborist, and Alison in the office, have been outstanding in providing me with the highest quality tree care in a timely fashion and at a fair price. As a steward of these trees, I am confident that Davey Tree is helping me care for and protect these trees for generations to come. From the initial call to the office to the highly skilled and careful on-site maintenance of my trees, Davey Trees is outstanding.

Davey Tree in San Antonio is an excellent company! We have been using them for years. Thomas is a brilliant arborist and we have used his advice and services to keep our trees healthy and trimmed! It is important to use a company that knows what they are doing when it comes to tree trimming. So many people use the guys that go door to door for their tree-trimming jobs and they strip the branches which results in ugly suckers appearing in no time! Companies like Davey are knowledgeable and less expensive in the long run! Be smart people!

Kevin provided a good review and estimate of what needed to be done. His 3 team members did a great job of trimming my trees and cleaning up after. Kevin monitored the work mid way through the process.

Chris, Max, Mason, and Moe were great! They were on time, courteous, efficient, and hard-working. They even pointed out and took down a wasp nest on the second story that we had previously not been able to reach. I most appreciated that they only recommended and trimmed the trees and bushes that needed to be trimmed. They did not arbitrarily recommend tree trimming on everything just to make additional cash, as did everyone else that gave us quotes. It was quite refreshing. I would highly recommend them!

Next door neighbors just trimmed their trees and we are so glad we had Davey here. Our trees are beautiful. Cleared of trash limbs and with opened canopy, the trees are the stars of the property. The crew led by Kevin and Eddie responded to our concerns at several stages. They obviously understood their business and addressed the job methodically and safely.

They were absolutely wonderful! They sent an arborist out to our house and spent time listening to us. We love our trees and want to make sure we keep them healthy. We’ve seen terrible trimming jobs where other companies butcher the trees. Davey Trees were artists trimming just what was needed and making everything look beautiful all for a reasonable price, and everything was cleaned perfectly!We will use them again and wouldn’t chance our trees to anyone else.

Davey Tree does not disappoint!! The company's tree work is impeccable, and the initial estimator (Kevin) and final crew were top notch at their jobs. We were in good hands with this firm from the moment we picked up the phone to schedule an estimate, to the moment they left the property. The work was as promised, even more so! needed my fence line cleared of overhanging branches, and branches over my pool. these branches were HIGH, and i was doubtful the job could be completed as i had wanted. (a bid from another company said the job could not be done, due to the height of the target branches). so, with Davey's very competitive bid, i agreed to the contract. no worries! the crew did a terrific job, completely to my desire. and, their cleanup was exceptional. in truth, this is my preferred tree service from now on! highly recommend!

I recently had Davey Tree experts out to thin my Oak Trees and remove several squirrel damaged limbs. The estimate was reasonable and the 4 man team they sent out were extremely thorough and efficient. And the clean up was as if they were never there. You can trust your trees to Davey. They are experts!!

Tried several one man tree care service companies which mixed results. Since I moved to this house I keep going back to Davey and will only use Davey now for all my tree care needs. Professional, good pricing, proper insurance, on time, etc. It's just not worth using any non-professional well-established tree trimming services. If you do and they are not properly insured, you could find yourself getting sued. Better have a good umbrella policy. Davey is fair and very good at communication. Rest assured when using them you are in good hands.

This is the second time we used Davey. They did a great job, removing 4 dead trees and trimming our oaks and pecans. Picked up all the debris and the trimming looks very natural.

I own an older home with a lot of large trees. I have used Davey to maintain and feed these large trees for about 15 years. The crews working for Davey are on time, professional and well trained. They pay particular attention to safety and do a good job cleaning up the debris from tree trimming..... This year I had a "tree emergency" due to severe weather. Davey took care of the problem in a very timely and professional manner. This week additional somewhat routine work was done in an excellent manner. Twice over the last few years I have tried the competition when Davey was not quickly available. Both times there were problems with the other tree services....Having tried the competition, I now know I have always taken the excellent service provided by Davey Tree for granted. Their office is also very easy to work with regarding scheduling etc.....I can strongly recommend Davey Tree.

My trees are beautifully trimmed. The trimmers really have great eyes on how to shape a tree. They also thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. Our backyard, which is a large lot with close to 20 oak trees, now looks like a spacious park. We're delighted with the work and highly recommend Davey.

Davey came out to take down 2 trees and trim a few more. I just can’t say enough about the wonderful job they did. The crew was very polite and professional. They did a fantastic clean up job as well. I would recommend Davey Trees to anyone looking to have trees trimmed or taken down. Great company and great people.

Kevin and his crew did a great job. This is the second time they worked on our trees. I had then clean out the ball moss clean out the inner branches and raise the lower branches. They worked carefully around the garden and flowers . They work out of the West SA location
