Electrical reviews in San Marcos, Texas

Great experience - I needed a ceiling fan installed and a circuit breaker replaced. Wade called me before my appointment, having reviewed the photos I sent him, to offer me a cheaper option for the circuit breaker. He also called to confirm on the day of the appointment, and showed up on time.
He took the time to check out my wiring to make sure the circuit breaker hadn't failed because of a problem there - despite this the work was done within the time estimated.
He was very friendly and helpful, explained all aspects of the job, and overall provided a great service.

John and Johnny did an excellent job on my Tesla charger install. I was able to get a quote the same day and they had the unit installed a few days later. It was a bit of a complex job having to run it from one side of the house to the other, but they knocked it out of the park! Great communication, professional work, and an extremely fair price. Definitely recommend JDR Electrical for any of your service needs!

John and his team were fast, efficient, and delivered outstanding service. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been using John for several years at home and at our businesses. After a tornado hit one of our buildings, John came immediately to replace the outdoor electrical meters that were mangled. He stuck with the project and worked closely with the electric company to get our power restored within 24 hours. He is very talented and can find the problem no matter how complicated it may be. His prices are fair and service is top notch. Thank you, John, for always taking care of all our electrical needs no matter how small or large.

John did an excellent job doing all the electrical work I needed done for a beautiful home renovation in San Marcos. He always showed up on time and stayed until the jobs were complete. He was honest on pricing and took his job very seriously (which I greatly appreciate). I’ll definitely hire him again!

We contacted JDR Electrical Services earlier this month because we needed a solar-powered light at our front gate and two lights on 20-foot poles at the back and side of our yard. John Rocha and his associates arrived on time and worked quickly and professionally. They were polite and friendly. They are skilled electricians and their work shows it. Their prices are reasonable.. We couldn't be happier with their work!

JDR was able to get to my job within 24 hours of calling. The crew arrived on time and completed work within the estimated time. They were professional, courteous, and did an excellent job. I am thrilled with my new lights and ceiling fan. Thank you John and Fabian.

Wow! The JDR Electrical team is just amazing. I had a few errors with the purchase of my new home involving some exterior lights and my doorbell. They were able to troubleshoot and solve the issues within a reasonably quick timely manner! They even stayed to ensure that the job was done correctly and at its best! I highly recommend this as your dedicated electrician within the San Marcos area!

I felt like I was shocked by the sticker price. I was quoted up to $15,000 to do all the recommended changes. Of course the box was old, all boxes are old but replacing them with other replacements was way beyond the task requested. I simply wanted one breaker added, but they diagnosed it and wanted tremendous replacements. I don’t like to leave bad review, but I felt they were trying to scare me into a job versus do the task requested by talking about safety and getting sued if something goes wrong. I also don’t want someone to fall into their scare tactic trap.

Mr Electric is very reputable and efficient. I will use their services again! I’ve been letting my neighbors know what a great service. Douglas was our Electrician and my husband and I really appreciated his knowledge, professionalism, and his neatness.

Our electrician Doug was on time, very professional, and explained everything to us. I could go on but we had excellent service. I would definitely recommend him for any electrical work.

This is the best company I’ve never had problems getting someone out when I needed them. Douglas Boyd is wonderful. We started out with him a year or so ago. He does all of our electrical maintenance now. I would highly recommend this company. Everyone from the office up have been amazing thank you guys.
