The Bartlett Team is awesome! My trees look amazing!

We were concerned about the condition of our beautiful live oaks, so I called Bartlett Tree Experts. Many so-called “professional” tree companies send out some guy who has “worked with trees for years.” Instead, Bartlett was represented by Jeff Hartman, a Marine veteran and Texas A&M grad with a degree in forestry services. Jeff really knows his stuff! He evaluated our trees and proposed very specific treatments at a reasonable price. I was extremely impressed by his depth of knowledge and responsiveness to our particular needs. The first phase of treatment was done last week and things already looking better. I highly recommend!

Everyone from Bartlett Tree Experts was professional, pleasant, and very responsive to any queries. Jeff came out to inspect our trees and presented us with a thorough yet reasonable plan to improve and protect our trees. All of the workers were excellent. The work as outlined was performed & clean up was thorough. Will definitely recommend.

The team from Bartlett did a wonderful job pruning and lifting two large pecan trees that are very close to and hang over our house. They worked extremely carefully and safely and showed the utmost respect for our property. We will definitely be calling Bartlett in the future.

I have been trusting Bartlett Tree Experts with taking care of my trees for a few years now. I had a crew out today to remove mistletoe, trim dead branches and reduce the limbs on some cedar elms. As always the guys were very polite & professional, my trees look so much better and they left my yard cleaner than they found it. Can’t recommend them enough!

Bartlett Tree Experts of San Marcos TX recently pruned our live oak trees front and back. The project started out with a productive consultation with our Arborist Representative Joe Harris. He is a great listener and explainer of what needs to be done to achieve our goals for the trees. The crew -- Joe, Christian, and Jeremy -- were terrific. They were courteous, responsive to our input, and very effective in cleaning out the dead branches and some small dead trees. We were especially pleased with their careful pruning of our large live oak tree. They achieved a balanced weight of the branches that is good for the tree and appealing to the eye. We and our trees are happy.

Received great service and support from William at Bartlett. I use them for 2x per year fertilization for our two front trees. They did some root work for us. I'll use them in the future for pruning as the trees mature. I would have given 5 stars, but they top dressed the root balls with brown mulch when the rest of the yard is obviously dressed in black mulch.

I prefer to use a tree service that prunes with selectivity rather than those who cut excessively. They climbed into the trees to trim from within not just from the ground. I can trim from the ground but lack the ability to get up high and prune. They chipped and removed what the cut off. It is more expensive to do it this way but it lasts.

We first used them to do hand clearing around some large oaks, and they did a fair job. Then we paid approximately $1000 and used them to survey trees on a portion of our property (about 25 acres). We got the survey about a month later than expected, and when we received the survey, there was no map or GPS coordinates of the trees surveyed. After a couple of weeks of unreturned emails and calls, someone finally called back completely unsympathetic about the lack of coordinates in the table and unwilling to resolve the issue. It seems like it would have been a simple thing for them to note location when they were on site surveying the trees. Without some idea of how to find each tree in the survey without going out to identify the small metal tags on each tree ourselves, the survey is essentially a useless $1000 piece of paper. Others in our area (also large lots) had past negative experiences with this organization, so I guess we should have listened to them. We won't be using Bartlett again for future work. If you do use them, don't make any assumptions about the services you will receive based on the extremely high level description in the statement of work...
