Reviews of local pros in Seabrook, Texas

I have so many memories of getting Yard of the Month as a little girl because of the fabulous work Mardel and her team does. But its only now, 20 years later, practicing my own Architectural Design that I really understand what sets her work apart from other landscape firms. Mardel has an extensive background studying classical architecture in Europe, where she was able to study first hand historical gardens of unparalleled beauty. Ville d’Este, Giverny, Versailles, the list goes on. Her designs exhibit a rare authenticity that will make an impact on anyone who sets foot on your property. That coupled with the strength of having an architectural element to your landscaping is what makes this firm so much better than the rest. They even import planting pottery from France that Mardel has traveled to Provence to hand pick herself! As a designer, I can truly say that this is a very special place. They have my highest recommendation.

Ive used this company for 30-40 years and they always do excellent work.
Their employees do a wonderful job. I couldnt be more pleased.

Love the experience every single time the Social Director and I go. Their selection fits our yard perfectly for all shade levels, and the people & service are awesome!!!

Love my many drift, dwarf roses and confederate roses

I called the nursery at 3pm and asked if they had a specific plant, and asked what time they were open til, the employee said yes they had the plant and they're open til 530pm, I went at 4:15pm to pick up the plant and was told by the landscaping part that the nursery had closed early. So thanks for wasting my time! Also it says on their web page they are open til 5:30pm.....apparently that is only when they decide to stay open.

OUTSTANDING!!!

These guys go above and beyond. They gave 125% and I can say I’m truly impressed. For people who know me personally that is very difficult to accomplish!! Fantastic job guys and you most certainly will get a referral from me!!! 👍👍👍

David and his tree trimming team removed a huge tree that fell on our home during a recent storm. They had to get a large crane and large group of very experienced, safe professionals...they did a great job...and were very kind and understanding during this stressful event. Thank you David.

We have used this company on multiple projects over the past 20 yrs and have the highest praises for not only their beautiful work, but for being a joy to work with. Mardel and Larry are people of true integrity

Very helpful staff, and large selection in the nursery. These guys have helped my family and I with multiple landscaping projects, the most recent was another success. Highly Recommended!

Wonderful customer service!! Great selection of pot and urns. The place to go for color selection and landscape design.

I have used the tree service several times and they have done and exceptional job

Terrible customer service. The manager, or "acting" manager was extremely rude when I asked her if they had in stock some herbs I was looking for. She even made fun of how I was on the wrong season, and according to her she couldn't understand my accent and had me spelling the names of the herbs, just because I look Hispanic. What an ignorant lady, I was born and raised here! Such an incompetent and racist woman.

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff and quality plants!

Wonderful selection of plants and a very helpful staff. The designers are very skilled and make beautiful landscapes. The plants always look well taken care of. Great place to shop!

Tree service is exceptional -- been using Bay Area Tree for 12 years. Conservative approach, stick with their estimates and do a superb job of clearn-up. Very trustworthy and not one to encourage unnecessary work.

This nursery has the most beautiful plants. The staff is friendly and helpful. I went when they had a butterfly garden expert. They were able to help me create a small garden on my budget.

Great job by this tree trimming service. They worked efficiently as a team trimming and removing all tree debris. First time we ever used them and we will definitely use them again. Five star work!

I use to really enjoy coming here because everything was priced well. That's not the case anymore. I went there today and noticed that practically everything has been priced 40% higher than it was about three weeks ago. If I'm going to over pay I'll go down the road a little ways where the selection is much larger. I won't be back.

Love this place! I can get lost for an hour in here. It’s small but has a big selection of plants and lots of decor. This is a great place to pick up stone or brick if you need it. They also do custom landscaping.

Thank you, Mardel, for creating our gorgeous landscape design! Magdell and his team worked tirelessly for three days bringing your vision to life. I was so impressed! I look forward to working with you guys in the future for maintenance to keep our yard looking beautiful. 😊

Barbara is not only sweet and knowlegeable but does beautiful planters! Amy, Reed and others always helpful. Priced right with healthy plants. I stop in everytime I go by, even if I dont need anything.

We had an enormous dying gum ball tree which was awkwardly placed over our garage with a 22Kw generator directly underneath it. The base of the trunk was at least 4' x 3' and the height was extreme - I'd guess at least 50'. A previous potential contractor quoted a sky-high price and stooped to absolutely abusive calling and texting to get our business. Fortunately Bay Area Tree was highly recommended by a professional arborist and came with an intelligent appreciation of the removal job and an attractive cost estimate. They arrived at the appointed time with a large, well-equipped crew and took care of that enormous tree in a single day with no damage to garage, generator or anything else. They neatly stacked a bunch of right sized logs for our outside fireplace, took down that enormous stump to well below ground level and cleaned up entirely after themselves. They even trimmed a couple of live oaks on our front lawn gratis just because hey needed it. I cannot recommend them enough - fabulous contractors!
