Josh and his crew did an awesome job in regrading a section of my backyard and planting new Amerishade sod. They showed up when they said they would and did a very professional job. This is the 2nd time I have used Herr's and they are my go-to for all my landscaping needs.

the Bob Ross of landscaping on my street because landscaping isn’t just plants and grass to him, its a art for him! You can see how much passion and love he puts into his work. He’s also extremely thorough. For example, one of the many projects we have done with Josh and his team is putting zoysia down in the back yard. He didn’t just lay it down, he prepped the soil, fertilized, leveled and did all the correct prep work.
I trust him and his team. If something doesnt work out ,he will fix it . His pricing is extremely fair and his work is above and beyond.

We would strongly recommend Josh and his team for any landscaping needs. He is very knowledgeable about many different varieties of plants. He provided an initial drawing suggesting plant/tree placement around our new pool. He was very conscious of minimizing plants that shed or create unwanted debris around a pool. He is not big on using chemicals and prefers a natural approach when possible. He oversaw saw the project every single day. The crew were very tidy and final design outcome exceeded expectations.

The whole process was a 5 star plus experience. Josh was easy to work with in the design process, picking out the materials and the implementation phase. I would highly recommend Herr's Landscaping. They put their heart into the project and it shows.

I’m sure their work is good, given all the rave reviews, but I’ve not even gotten to a place where I can accept the bid. Joshua gave me a solution, I liked it (concrete overlay), then he apparently chose the paving treatment, because it was on the quote. I had to ask what it looked like and when I said I didn’t like it and wanted choices he sent me an endless online catalogue. Even if I did know what I was looking for, that is overwhelming. That was a few days ago. He has not contacted me since to see if I had any questions or needed help. He could have walked me through a short list of choices. The only thing I can conclude is he is busy and neither needs nor wants this job.
At least the other guys admitted upfront that they would not bother for under $4000. The fact that Joshua made no mention of this made me trust him more, but basically he is saying the same thing…just later.

Josh and his crew did a most excellent job on my front and back yard. Had some freeze damage from months back but also just needed old ugly builder landscaping choices replaced. Very efficient and professional in all their work. I am so pleased with the results!!!

Josh is knowledgeable in everything related to landscape design and yard maintenance. He has provided yard maintenance service and given me valuable advice in how to maintain a healthy yard going forward. He is always good at giving me pointers in anything related to my gardens. If it's something you don't need, he won't sell it to you. I highly recommend Josh!

Josh and his crew did a fabulous job. Our yard was a total mess when we moved in. Herr's leveled, sodded, and put drains in our entire side yard, updated our gardens and planted privacy hedges. Hurr’s Landscape Services is simply the best! I rely on Joshua to keep my grass looking good all year long. While everyone is experiencing stress on their yard this year my grass has stayed lush and green. Joshua knows landscaping better than anyone I have ever met and he only uses organic chemicals for treatment. I have sent Joshua photos with questions; he provided advice. I have asked Joshua to come by the house to confirm I am doing my part to keep my yard looking great; he has come by for consultation. Again, simply the best! Other services require monthly treatment but Joshua has only treated my yard 2 times and I am the envy of the neighborhood.

Josh Herr and his team took the dirt and weeds around our newly built home and transformed it into a beautiful landscaped yard/flowerbed that still gets compliments after 1.5 years of being installed. The landscaped design Herr’s put together has color throughout the seasons and is hardy through the hot and cold weather. They did a really nice job and are super easy to work with - both during the project and afterwards. When questions came up Josh was quick to respond and offer solutions. We’re very happy with the way our landscaping turned out and will be calling Herr’s on our next project!

We contacted Herr's Landscaping because our front yard was unimproved after completion of our new home construction.Our front yard was suffering from erosion gullys leading downhill on a sharp gradiant, soil with a high sand cotent, and was devoid of any sod or plants.
Josh met with us and listened to our ideas. He literally transformed our bleak eroding front yard into a beautiful art piece using rock walls, a dry creek bed, and plants that attracted hummingbirds and bees!! He really worked with us to encorporate our ideas.
