The most pleasant experience we've had since moving to Texas. The technicians showed up on time and were very courteous. They pinpointed the issues and had them fixed quickly. They were so friendly, that my husband and I offered them a cup of coffee and we all chatted for 10 minutes before they left. We highly recommend Wheat Electric and will be using them for all of our electrical needs in the future.

We had a manual transfer switch installed in our garage for a portable generator. The work performed was clean and looks great! Troy and Jamie were prompt, clearly highly skilled, and professional, not to mention kind and efficient. I now have piece of mind that I can easily power needed items in my home without power feeding back into the line and hurting someone the next time we have a power outage. What a blessing! Great company! Shout out to Nick, Troy, and Greg! Super guys! Hard workers, professional, and friendly. Completed work exactly as requested. They installed a heater, fan, light unit in 2 bathrooms. Then installed a ton of super bright lights in my mother’s bedroom, bathroom, and closet. She is 94 and legally blind. They also added an extra light for her in the kitchen and a super bright light in the pantry. Great experience! Highly recommend these guys and this company.

Troy and Nick were very helpful in figuring out how to install a floor outlet on a tight space in our pier and beam home. The addition of our under cabinet lighting came out great. Overall they were very knowledgeable and made sure we were satisfied with their work.

Wheat Electric ran new power and conduit with a new panel from a new water well to my Barndominium turn key. Showed up on time, professional, courteous and just very nice men. Got the job done, went the extra mile to answer my questions. Nice to work with honest folks who actually care about the job. Even cleaned up, and I was very impressed. Wheat Electric & Controls is the best! They installed 4 ceiling fans and went above and beyond our expectations with how they took care of the original light fixtures and even took away the boxes from the fans! They are professional as well as friendly. We discussed other projects that we would like to complete in the near future. We will definitely use Wheat for all of our electrical needs! Thanks guys!

My wife & I required an Electrician to install exterior outlets, exterior lights and internal light fixtures in our home. We made several contacts with local Electricians and finally decided on Wheat Electric & Controls. Troy had come to our home and we explained our needs and he also offered alternatives that we incorporated and his bid was very competitive. Our decision was magnified with the very professional installation and workmanship of Troy & Jamie of the work they performed. If there is a better Electrical company in the Spring Branch area, it would be hard to believe. They are very polite and professional in their workmanship and even take precautions to protect our furniture and belongings when working. 5 stars is not enough of a rating for a company that we will recommend to our friends and neighbors and hopefully use in the future should the need arise

Wheat Electric is absolutely fabulous! Lost power late one evening. PEC came out within the hour. We lost a leg. My neighbor told me about Wheat Electric the next morning. They immediately came over, got with PEC and fixed the problem. They had us all fixed up by 3 that afternoon. They didn't over charge us for anything. They are very fair, honest and do a great job. I highly recommend them and will be using them in the future for all our electrical needs.

I am very pleased with the completed work that Troy and Nick with Wheat Electric & Controls did for us last week. They installed a manual power switch for my generator, a surge suppressor, and replaced my electric pole's flood light. They did a great job of managing the space on my electric pole and took extra time to explain everything to me. They arrived on time, were very polite, worked hard and smart, and cleaned up very well when they were finished. I will always call on them for my electrical needs in the future. The folks at Wheat Electric were all great. My wife and I spent hours searching for an electrician willing to replace one of our attic power vents. I called Ed Wheat after a referral from an unwilling electrician. Ed didn’t hesitate to indicate that they could do the job. They ordered a new unit and scheduled a convenient time to do the job. Nick and Troy came out and installed it and it works like a charm. Nick and Troy were great, super friendly with real can-do attitudes. The cost was very reasonable. I have dealt with many electricians in the area over the past 40 years, and Ed Wheat Electric is by far the best company I’ve used. I will definitely be using them again in the future.
