I recently had my AC repaired , and I couldn't be happier with the service! Thomas, my technician, was absolutely fantastic. He arrived on time, was very professional, and quickly diagnosed the issue. He explained everything in detail and gave me a fair estimate before starting any work.
If you're looking for a reliable AC company, I highly recommend Hal Watson , and be sure to ask for Thomas—he’s the best!

Ever since my first experience with Hal Watson, I have always been highly impressed with their professionalism, honesty, yet sincerity in dealing with their customers. Every single employee I have ever dealt with, is friendly and understanding and takes the time to explain every matter, big or small. Highly recommend for all a/c and heating maintenance and/or issues.

We recently switched to Hal Watson and know we made the right decision. First, I was not given a hard time to make changes to my system after the inspection. Second, they came out and helped me with a thermostat issue. The company that installed it did not give me valuable information. Lastly, my mother had an issue on a cold Sunday morning. She was able to stay with us. HW called early on Monday morning and had her fixed by Monday afternoon. She is also switching to you for service. We appreicate all your business has done for us all.

Josh arrived on time and checked that both units were heating properly. He pointed out that our units are 17 years old and recommended that we replace them. He made the point that in 2025 a different refrigerant will be required that is not well known. I pointed out that it’s been in use in California for more than a decade. I felt like he was pushing a sale using doubt and uncertainty. No problem with pointing out the risk of old units but I’d appreciate a more objective discussion of pros and cons.

I had work on my AC this summer. After a inspection it stopped working after their Tech service it and claimed it was in working order. The Techs came back several times, same problem. Finally it was repaired after 2k plus in repairs. Tech claimed I needed a a whole new part. Yet they claimed it could not be soldered, yet they soldered it in place. Also rude Techs
Overpriced and damaged part claiming it was new?

Fast and friendly service, but charging $400 for a simple 15 minute capacitor swap is outrageous. This company is no different than the rest in terms of price gouging.

Avoid at all costs. We were charged around $360 for 2.5lbs of coolant. About a week later, our A/C started going out. Had another company come out and were told we were in need of more coolant. The new company added 7.5lbs for around $360. Hal Watson had no issues charging 3 times the price. When I called to voice my complaint, I was told that it’s because they are a larger company so they have to charge more due to their overhead. Guess we will be sticking with the smaller companies if that’s the case. Horrible customer service.

Hal Watson was the HVAC company my builder insisted on using 7 years ago when my house was built. There are 3 Trane a/c units. The evaporative coil on my 3.5 ton Trane unit just went out. Upon researching, the evaporative coil installed for the 3.5 ton condenser had part of the model number marked out and “3-1/2 ton” written on the label. Guess what? It’s a 3 ton evaporative coil. Very deceptive. I was never advised to register the evaporative coils. This is the second evaporative coil to go bad, and because I was never provided with the model number and serial numbers to the evaporative coils, there is no warranty on them. Had I registered them, there WOULD have been a parts warranty for 10 years! Instead, I’m out the entire cost of parts and labor on two units!

Another unit has a leak that cannot be detected using a leak trace. This has been an ongoing problem since we moved into the house 7 years ago. I have an estimate from a reputable a/c company to run a new line set. Cost? $2,300. I’m putting it off; but the cost of R410a refrigerant to top up that system is not cheap!
