Jerry redesigned the backyard of my patio home in 2019 and has been maintaining it since then. The stonescape he created is beautiful and adds contour to a flat Southeast Texas space. The plants have been very drought-hardy and freeze-hardy, and anytime there’s a problem, Jerry is just a text away.

Mr. Kempenski, I am the home owner of the home where the fence was damaged this week. I go to work and come home. I have never had a cross word with this neighbor. I have lived here for 10 years and honestly have no clue what the name of the homeowner would be. I take offense to your verbiage regarding my demeanor.

I came home to a a broken fence. I was not unreasonable. I have a legal background and see people taken advantage of way too often. I simply asked for my fence to be fixed and put in writing a deadline for repairs to be completed.

It was never about the fence. The fence is old and needs replacing. It was the lack of communication and the words spoken by your crew"it's no big deal". I now feel have been called names by a business owner, someone who knows nothing of me or the type of person I am. If this makes you feel better, sobeit. May you continue to be blessed.

We utilized Kempenski landscaping to reimagine our boring suburban builder grade front yard. We gave Jerry complete creative control and he worked within our budget to create a beautiful formal southern garden complete with mature trees and hardscape. The results exceeded our expectations. We then hired him for yard maintenance and lawn care. His rates are reasonable and transparent. He takes immense ownership of his projects, both during the process and throughout the year while performing upkeep. Any time we’ve had a concern, someone is at our door within 48 hours. We absolutely would recommend Kempenski Landscaping and plan to continue working with this company.

Great work to install 2 French drains and a rocky run off area, but he ghosted me and never returned to finish up a couple small issues... disappointing!

Jerry absolutely transformed the small patio and yard space that came with my townhome. It was a disaster of weeds and overgrown plants. Jerry created the perfect oasis, even including space for my large dog to enjoy. I now have a functional drip system for my patio plants. He came in on time and on budget. Not only that, but he also followed up for weeks after to take care of any new requests, as well as to make sure the trees and plants he planted remained healthy. I highly recommend him for any and all landscaping projects!

Jerry and his men demolished our broken driveway and poured another - IN ONLY 2 DAYS! Plus they cut down two trees that were very close to the house. They did a phenomenal job and cleaned up all the mess. All were professional and respectful. We were so impressed, we are having them come back out to cut down another problematic tree.

We originally reached out to Jerry to do a tree re-plant for a live oak that didn't take and was pleasantly surprised to learn that he does a wide variety of design and landscaping. Jerry and his team were able to re-plant our live oak and completely revamp our front flower bed. He also enhanced our covered back patio by installing a river rock bed that helps with drainage when we get heavy rain. From estimation to installation Jerry was very thorough and helpful with making the best decisions for our home that fit our budget. My house has flooded twice due to recent heavy rains and I called Jerry Kempenski with a certain amount of trepidation. As soon as Jerry responded to my call ( which was within the hour on a Thursday night) he immediately put my wife and I at ease. He was at the house the next day and quickly diagnosed the problem and committed to a fair price. He was at work the following Monday morning early ready to go with a full crew to take care our drainage problem. They finished early and yard looks great!
