Plumbing reviews in Tolar, Texas

Mark Winters Plumbing!! I FINALLY found a plumbing company that has integrity and a super staff! I had a pipe burst and needed a plumber fast. I haven’t had the best luck with the other plumbers in town, but Eric was top notch. He and his associate repaired the leaking pipe and changed out the calcified faucet. I was so impressed I asked him to look at why my dishwasher wouldn’t drain all the way. Of course after having all of these repairs completed I was a little nervous about the charges.
Wow, can I just say that Mark Winters Plumbing was so reasonably priced that I wasn’t sure Eric put all of the services on the invoice! I’m so glad I called them! I will definitely call them… hopefully not soon, but I will only call Mark Winters Plumbing in Granbury. -

We have lived here 8 yrs, tried 3 or 4 plumbers, but never used a second time. NOW WINTERS PLUMBING will be our go-to plumber. They responded promptly, and fixed us up wonderfully. 4 days later we found another leak and they came promptly and fixed it. Kind, good explanations, fair prices, quality work, and dedicated to making happy customers. We are happy customers!

Working with Winter's Plumbing has been a consistently excellent experience. Mark and his team are incredibly reliable making themselves available at any hour, any day, and always ready to deliver top notch service. Their commitment to doing the job right is evident in every project; they never cut corners and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
Winter's Plumbing has successfully handled a range of services for us, including plumbing, electrical, and utility work. Each task has been completed efficiently, correctly, and without issue. Their pricing is always fair and reasonable. -
Mark coordinated a big project at a house I'm renovating. Easy to work with, explains everything to a layman.
And two weeks ago, Winter's Team handled a service outage where a cable truck destroyed the supply to my house. His team got there quick and did a great job. -
$510 in and they couldn't fix a toilet paper clog 45' down a pipe.
Called them to get a toilet unstuck. The kid that came out was nice, but 2 hours in, he was stumped. Charged me $510 and told me to try somebody else (recommended I call the plumber that originally installed it). That plumber had it pinpointed in minutes and got it solved.
When I spoke with the owner of this company, he said his guys are trained to trial and error for 2 hours before actually trying something else, such as a camera. I would have had to pay another service call with minimums just for this guy to come back out and use the tool he should have used out the gate, but clearly, these guys would rather charge the $210-$300+ per hour to eventually solve the problem on my dime rather than use the right tools to begin with.
Having run service businesses for over 20 years, that is a very poor business practice. Use the right tools, troubleshoot properly, and charge appropriately. I would have been fine to pay the $510 and then some to get it right. However, I'm not sure that this would have been solved for less than $1,500-$2,000 with these guys.
The owner was upset that I suggested they did a poor job and refused to refund anything. He did offer half off one hour of a future service call, and I told him I didn't trust them to do future service, so he basically fired me as a customer and hung up on me.
Terribly unprofessional. Never doing business with them again, and you should think twice before trusting them!
